["Immigrants separated from their children after being arrested for illegally entering the U.S. at the Mexican border are being asked to choose between being deported alone or with their children." Why in the world would we not deport the children with the adults who brought them in? Is it because the kiddie importers may not be the kids' parents after all? Then where is today's insane hew and cry about separating kids from arrested parents – a long practiced process for both American and illegals taken into custody? I think I like the idea.
There may be no conscious planning behind it, but it may simply be that she’s going through the motions of running in order to stay relevant. She’s probably the most ambitious person ever put on this planet, so it’s reasonable to assume that her activities roil around that inner hunger.
I say she’s so ambitious by looking at how far she got without any of the obvious gifts that successful dictators have usually had in their rise to power. I think what you are seeing is pure drive.

I have been waiting for the good people living in those shithole crime and drug infested unsafe at any speed neighborhoods to stand up and have their voices heard. And yes, finally black lives cut short by gang violence truly matters to BLM. A good sign. Too bad the crowd size was small……per expected.

What has actually happened is that the Republican Party has moved so far to the right that it creates the appearance of the Democratic Party moving left in the eyes of those who want to see it that way. Don’t forget it was Nixon who gave us the EPA, initiated Title IX and consumer protections, all of which trump now is trying to destroy. So guess again on how the political 50 yard line has moved to the rightwing 35. It wasn’t because the left moved. If anything, the traditional democratic left has moved right to about where the moderate Republicans used to be leaving a hole newly being filled by so-called progressives.

You know, that’s hard to believe since the Republicans (or, as Paul so charmingly sez, the ‘pubbers’) are the party of not changing anything. My guess is that you view your own vantage point as stable and so there’s a bias built into that.
Look at it this way. If you grabbed a Republican from 1970, or 1960/1950/1940, or 1890, would they feel more in tune with a modern Republican or Democrat? Would a Republican from 1960 be in favor of transsexual Army officers? Gay pride parades? Transgender bathrooms? National round-up of guns? Nationalized healthcare? Riots because immigration law was enforced? Student loan forgiveness?
You might need to think your posish, as Bertie Wooster would say.

Then along came Mr. Straight Shooter himself, our current President of these here United States. Not only did he smack the Chi-coms upside their violating unfair heads, he called Chinese solar panels cheap crap that “you wouldn’t buy anyway.”
What a promoter for the Green Industry! Gave them a shot in the arm. Now, because of President Trump the Miracle Worker, 6-9 new solar panel factories will be opening up here and creating green jobs. That Trump is one Mean Green Fair Trade Machine, I tell ya.
