["Immigrants separated from their children after being arrested for illegally entering the U.S. at the Mexican border are being asked to choose between being deported alone or with their children."  Why in the world would we not deport the children with the adults who brought them in?  Is it because the kiddie importers may not be the kids' parents after all?  Then where is today's insane hew and cry about separating kids from arrested parents – a long practiced process for both American and illegals taken into custody?  Or are we now done with this topic?  gjr]

So much winning you might get tired of winning…….

FROM JOSH BLACKMAN, A HUGE RIGHT-TO-ARMS VICTORY: DOJ, Second Amendment Foundation Reach Settlement In Defense Distributed Lawsuit. “Under terms of the settlement, the government has agreed to waive its prior restraint against the plaintiffs, allowing them to freely publish the 3-D files and other information at issue. The government has also agreed to pay a significant portion of the plaintiffs’ attorney’s fees, and to return $10,000 in State Department registration dues paid by Defense Distributed as a result of the prior restraint. Significantly, the government expressly acknowledges that non-automatic firearms up to .50-caliber – including modern semi-auto sporting rifles such as the popular AR-15 and similar firearms – are not inherently military.”

I wonder how many batches of picketing signs had to be thrown out.

Found this delicious babble on your link. “Conspiring with an enemy to destroy Democacy…”.
Say it ain’t so. Did Trump get caught playing nice with the anti-American anti-Constitutional Chicken Little Progressives? That’s grounds for impeachment.
“It’s official. Trump, who is now under investigation for obstruction of justice and conspiring with an enemy to destroy Democracy, has selected the judges who could rule on whether he can be forced to testify, be indicted or pardon himself. Autocracy here we come. VOTE!!!”
Chucky the Clown Boner said it best. This pick “is a dagger in the heart of healthcare” as it is known today. You mean the overwhelmingly popular and affordable Obamacare that everybody thinks is absolutely marvelous? Let the hyperbole gush forth.
Oh, Chucky the Clown Boner and his little daggers.
Overall as bad as having, say, that person on the bench is, it would have been worse to have the nuclear option, which would have really just brought the Senate to a grinding halt and been a dagger really right at the heart of what this republic is all about.”–on “NewsHour With Jim Lehrer,” May 24, 2005

Well it’s my understanding that there were 25 names on the Supreme Court shortlist. With a more plodding President (Obama, Bush, etc.) if they said that they are down to three finalists you can usually be sure that they are down to three finalists. So two batches are likely heading to the landfill! With the master showman though you can never be sure so it wouldn’t surprise me if many. many more signs were sacrificed yesterday so the TEAM EVIl would appear to be on top of things!
I would think that some entrepreneurial progressive would have purchased a quick turn around printing plant to both make money and satisfy his/her/zhe/xis etc. political urges by now!

“SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) — A Southern California prosecutor was disciplined Monday after posting to social media crude and profane comments about U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, former first lady Michelle Obama, Mexican immigrants and the victim of a police shooting.
Michael Selyem, a veteran deputy district attorney who handles gang prosecutions in San Bernardino County, was placed on administrative leave while an investigation is conducted, the district attorney’s office said. He could ultimately lose his job.”

Following the law, what a concept –
Federal law generally prohibits states from skimming money from Medicaid payments bound for independent in-home personal care workers. But in 2014, the Obama administration created an exception, saying that states could divert some of that Medicaid money to unions, on the theory that these workers effectively were public-sector employees.
Eleven left-leaning states have used that provision to raise more than $200 million a year for unions by taking it from health workers who often didn’t even realize it, according to top GOP officials.

Its becoming the latest trend don’t ya know. Mexico has to protect those remittances! –
The proposal, known as a “safe third country agreement,” would potentially require asylum seekers transiting through Mexico to apply for protection in that nation rather than in the United States. It would allow U.S. border guards to turn back such asylum seekers at border crossings and quickly return to Mexico anyone who has already entered illegally seeking refuge, regardless of their nationality.
“We believe the flows would drop dramatically and fairly immediately” if the agreement took effect, said a senior Department of Homeland Security official, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss negotiations with the Mexican government, which the official said had gathered momentum in recent weeks.

Man o man, it’s ear plug time. With all the exploding heads, it’s sounds like the finale to the 4th of July fireworks. How about some nice quotes to meditate on.
“The nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh will threaten the lives of millions of Americans for decades to come and will morph our Supreme Court into a political arm of the right-wing Republican Party.” —Terry McAuliffe
“Civilization as we know it today is at risk in this election. We have to win. We have to win.” —Nancy Pelosi
“It’s going to be quite a visual when five men overturn Roe.” —Vox’s Ezra Klein (“Seven men decided Roe.” —Matt Walsh
“Party of Tolerance”: “Very few times I’ve felt threatened while out in the field. The mood here tonight is very volatile. Law enforcement appears to be closing down 1st Street in front of SCOTUS.” —Fox News anchor Shannon Bream on the steps of the Supreme Court
True, but good luck with that: “Progressives can still win many of these issues. They simply will have to do so in a small-d democratic way, by winning elections.” —The New York Times’ David Leonhardt
Fake news: “Fox and Trump, Trump and Fox. You know they’re close. But do you realize just how close? This kind of relationship has never existed between a U.S. president and a TV network. It is unprecedented.” —CNN’s Brian Stelter, seemingly oblivious to the Leftmedia’s fawning over Obama
“Obvious but still worth noting that hysteria over Kavanaugh is strictly political. No one in America would claim he is not a brilliant lawyer. He is controversial only because he will faithfully apply the law rather than use it as a tool to advance the ‘progressive’ agenda.” —Andrew C. McCarthy
And finally, Forest Gump returns from his ping-pong tournament in China.

Opps, they did it again. From the Women’s March fine ladies and a 3-4 guys who are thinking about getting an uterus.
First they oppose Justice XX, then they oppose the nominated Judge Brett Cavanaugh. Boy, are they ever confused. Comes with the terrority. Third time’s a charm, I reckon…..
“In response to Donald Trump’s nomination of XX to the Supreme Court, The Women’s March released the following statement,” the email begins.
(However, Trump’s nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, was mentioned later in the statement).
“Trump’s announcement today is a death sentence for thousands of women in the United States,” the statement read. “Judge Brett Cavenaugh’s (sic.) nomination threatens to move our nation’s highest court dangerously to the right and further erode protections for almost every marginalized group in America.”
