Despite explicit instructions in all caps in the President’ daily briefing stating DO NOT CONGRATULATE Putin on his “re-election,” Donald the Dealmaker called up Putin and congratulated him anyhow insulting millions of people worldwide. The purpose of the call was to discuss the Korean situation and trump was supposed to bring up both Russian meddling in the 2016 elections and the poisoning of the ex-Rusian spy via a nerve agent last month. Trumpski did neither but instead talked with Putin about “the state of bilateral relations and resolved to continue dialogue about mutual national security priorities and challenges.”

   Hey Bobbie, maybe Trump should call up lit-o-rocketman and start trashing the FUK (Fat Ugly Kid) about his human rights abuses and his release of our citizen as a walking corpse with his mind gone. Then Trump should lay into the Saudis and save the best for Putin. How dare he. Unless Putin behaves and throws down all his toys, we will never ever talk to Russia again.
   Right. Human right abuses, LGBTQQ, and setting up democracies in totalarain countries with dictators for life are not the top priorities in geo-political stuff. Shame on Trump. Hey, he is so crazy he might fire Meuller tonight.
   This is so weird. All my life the left loved Russia. From Russia with Love. Bernie honeymooning back, back, back in the USSR and all the good exciting stuff.
   Once the Wall came done, it changed everything. Guess the Left (especially those elitist university professors here and abroad) never forgave Russia for dumping communism. After that fiasco, the Left had to switch gears and go with the Anti-Colonial song and dance…which explains the Politics of Identity.
   Besides, Trump owes Vladdy one. A big nice thankyou is in order. As much as I really hate to admit it, it was Russia that gets more credit than us for putting the hurts on ISIS, be they be hiding in mosques or hospitals. Russian fighters have no problem with that.

    They (whoever they are) say kicking the nicotine habit is harder than kicking heroin.
    Get this: I read a study of the harmful effects of 2nd hand smoke….from pot, lol. To be fair, the study was too small with no visible control group in the findings so I did not post it here. With that said, you just got a peek into the future. As more people quit smoking tobacco, they (whoever they are) will be gunning for wacky tobaccy to replace the tax revenue lost to the quitters. They do say a quitter never wins……
    Antidotal story, about 12 years ago:
    Was in Santa Cruz visiting an old buddy. We went to a park. He pointed to the bar-b-que pits, similar to the ones in Memorial or Condon parks. Told me they banned smoking cigs, bar-b-ques, and even the Boy Scout campouts with the ole sitting around the campfire because of smoke pollution. No mas. While in Santa Cruz, the local paper’s front page article was about the upcoming huge crowd expected at the same park for the Great All America Pot Smokeout.
    The city council wrote up a quick exception for dope smokers cause nobody wanted to deprive the lame, disabled, and granny from their medicine, The ban on the upcoming 4th of July fireworks was to remain in effect, due to smoke pollution and scaring the sea lions. Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em…..as long as “‘em” is the wacky tobaccy plant.

    In the “we only like the rule of law when it rules in our favor” dept. Pennsylvania Republicans are tying to impeach four democratic state Supreme Court judges after they ruled (5-2) that the Republican controlled legislature gerrymandered the states districts in their favor and the districts had to be redrawn by the next election. After a legislative stalemate, the state Supreme Court redrew the districts and the Republicans sought to have the new map nullified. After two Republican appeals to the U.S. Supreme Court and a federal lawsuit were unsuccessful in blocking the new map, the Republicans decided to get rid of those darn judges.
