I did not vote for Hillary and do not support her. You however continue to support Trump and his campaign. thats the difference.
Did you check out this video of the CEO of Cambridge talking about their techniques? this is the company That the Trump campaign paid 5 million dollars for their services. How you can support this is beyond my comprehension.

PaulE 927am – I have already explained beyond patience our totally different systems of logic and world views (ontologies). What does paying $5M, or any sum, for legitimate services have to do with anything???
And anyone just arrived from Mars (or any other objective examiner) looking at the years of your comments would definitely conclude that you have been and are one of Hillary’s most constant supporters, and one who continues, out of hand, to dun anything that is inimical to her reputation.

Paul Emery, nothing illegal took place. In fact here is a copy/paste from George Boardman’s blog on the very issue. Read it then go back to your cave.
“Facebook executives spent much of Saturday arguing what happened didn’t constitute a data breach, even as they acknowledge Cambridge and others used data that was provided openly to third parties.
That would include the 2012 reelection campaign of President Barack Obama, which created a voter-outreach app that plugged into the Facebook platform to find potential supporters among a user’s friends.”

,,,paul,,,georger is assuming that trumpski’s organization paid for ”’legitimate services”’. trumpski’s organization wouldn’t care if they were legitimate as long as they could claim ignorance,,,
”’It was Bannon’s interest in culture as war that ignited Wylie’s intellectual concept. But it was Robert Mercer’s millions that created a firestorm. Kogan was able to throw money at the hard problem of acquiring personal data: he advertised for people who were willing to be paid to take a personality quiz on Amazon’s Mechanical Turk and Qualtrics. At the end of which Kogan’s app, called thisismydigitallife, gave him permission to access their Facebook profiles. And not just theirs, but their friends’ too. On average, each “seeder” – the people who had taken the personality test, around 320,000 in total – unwittingly gave access to at least 160 other people’s profiles, none of whom would have known or had reason to suspect.
What the email correspondence between Cambridge Analytica employees and Kogan shows is that Kogan had collected millions of profiles in a matter of weeks. But neither Wylie nor anyone else at Cambridge Analytica had checked that it was legal. It certainly wasn’t authorised. Kogan did have permission to pull Facebook data, but for academic purposes only. What’s more, under British data protection laws, it’s illegal for personal data to be sold to a third party without consent.
“Facebook could see it was happening,” says Wylie. “Their security protocols were triggered because Kogan’s apps were pulling this enormous amount of data, but apparently Kogan told them it was for academic use. So they were like, ‘Fine’.””’

Fake news strikes again. When the Austin bombings first started, CNN said two of the three victims were black and the third person was Hispanic. CNN went so far as to say that it’s a hate crime and if the bombings happened in a white affluent area of Austin, the place would be crawling with cops to solve this hate crime. For the record, the first two victims were not black but white

All three companies sent their general counsels, a move that was criticized at the time. It is unlikely that Zuckerberg will be able to avoid congressional questioning a second time.

Trump needs to implement the Insurrection Act
The Insurrection Act of 1807 is a United States federal law (10 U.S.C. §§ 251–255) that governs the ability of the President of the United States to deploy military troops within the United States to put down lawlessness, insurrection, and rebellion.

Walt, Punchy never supported Hillary. He just trashed relentlessly her opponent. Big difference in his mind.
First we were treated to a bad case of Bush Derangement Syndrome. During the long destructive eight years of the Omaha Presidency, all we heard was nothing but BDS. Ok, Punchy once got hot under the collar about Nevada County regulating big house parties with live music. Besides that and some minisule yawners in the grand scheme of things, it was eight straight years of BDS.
“I can assume George that you agree with me that Bush lied and people died! Good to have reached agreement here……blah, blah, blah.”
Now we have a fine example of TDS to enjoy daily. I rather enjoy reading the daily slobbering of those with TDS, an affliction like COPD. It’s progressive and irreversible. Enjoy the senile old Uncle Paulie rambling on at the Thanksgiving Dinner, drooling on the food and bits of tasty morsels spewing out over everything when he speaks. It’s rather amusing and intriguing to watch. Just stand back and enjoy. It’s quite the phenomena unfolding before our eyes.

    Collusion:
Bryon York and Andrew McCarthy have been writing good articles lately, York daily.
“Both Gates and Manafort were charged with something called “conspiracy against the United States.” As the former prosecutor Andrew McCarthy points out, “there is no such offense in federal law as ‘conspiracy against the United States.’” But Mueller’s office described their alleged crimes that way, and some media commentators liked the treason-ish sound of the phrase.
But in the Mueller investigation, it is precisely the people who would most be expected to be part of a collusion scheme who have not been charged with taking part in any such activity.”

Bribery one step removed and collusion to steal US secret tech –
Schweizer discussed national security implications related to modern corruption, highlighting the acquisition of Henniges Automotive — a formerly America-based company developing “dual-use” technologies with military applications — by Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), a Chinese state-run military contractor. AVIC acquired Henniges in 2017 with a 51 percent stake purchase. The remaining 49 percent was purchased by the Biden- and-Kerry-linked BHR.
“So [Hunter Biden and Devon Archer] get this $1.5 billion to invest, and what they are supposed to do is basically invest in companies that benefit the Chinese government,” stated Schweizer. “So just think about this for a second. This is the vice president of the United States whose father is supposed to be commanding American presence and power in the Pacific to deal with the rising challenge from China, and his son is investing $1.5 billion of Chinese government money. So what do they do? They invest in an American high-precision tools company called Henniges, which used to be owned by Rocket Company, but they produce anti-vibration technologies which have a dual-use application, so this transaction actually requires the approval of the federal government, as it has national security implications. So again, the vice president’s son is helping the Chinese government take over a dual-use military technology-related company called Henniges.”
BHR also invested in a Chinese state-run atomic energy company indicted by the Department of Justice in crimes related to stealing nuclear secrets, Schweizer said.
“But it gets even worse because another investment that they make is in something called CGN — China General Nuclear — which is an atomic power company,” recalled Schweizer. “They invest in this company in 2014. A year later, what happens? The FBI arrests and charges senior officials in this company with stealing nuclear secrets in the United States. Specifically, they’re trying to get access to something called the AP-1000 nuclear reactor that is very similar to the ones that we put on U.S. submarines. So again, you have the son of the vice president, a close aide to the secretary of state who are investing in a company that is trying to steal nuclear secrets in the United States. It’s a stunning story, and here’s the thing: none of this is required to be disclosed because they’ve figured out a way to get around these disclosure laws.”

Hummmmmm.. This sure doesn’t sound like a definition of a Paul.
“Libertarianism (from Latin: libertas, meaning “freedom”) is a collection of political philosophies and movements that uphold liberty as a core principle.[1] Libertarians seek to maximize political freedom and autonomy, emphasizing freedom of choice, voluntary association, and individual judgment.[2][3][4] Libertarians share a skepticism of authority and state power, but they diverge on the scope of their opposition to existing political and economic systems. Various schools of libertarian thought offer a range of views regarding the legitimate functions of state and private power, often calling for the restriction or dissolution of coercive social institutions.[5]
Left-libertarians, seek to abolish capitalism and private ownership of the means of production in favor of their common or cooperative ownership and management, viewing private property as a barrier to freedom and liberty.[6][7][8][9] In contrast, modern right-libertarian ideologies, such as minarchism and anarcho-capitalism, instead advocate laissez-faire capitalism and strong private property rights,[10] such as in land, infrastructure and natural resources.”
