[The lamestream is now reduced to reporting on every Russian who ever had anything to do with US, or who traveled to America and in some way dealt with Trump or let his shadow fall on a Trump property.  What does that say to the work product of special prosecutor Mueller after all these months?  And we are still being informed that Russia has meddled in our elections, and will likely do so again – as if we just fell off the pumpkin wagon, or was it they who were so unfortunate?  gjr]

Of course they meddle in our elections. To be fair, it’s probably 5% of how much the British meddle in our elections, and as to the Israelis, oy vey!
An interesting study for Mueller would be the amount that the US interferes with things like the Ukrainian elections, or heaven forbid the Russian elections.
It’s just business as usual since most countries tend to act in a self-interested fashion.
A better question is to think about what results the Russian might actually be after. The first would be a bit of internal tension, and since the Green Libertarians are the source of most of that it would be interesting to see what marches/protests/etc. the Russians have encouraged and/or funded. The second might be an attempt to get the US the heck out of places like Syria, which are right next door to Russia. The need for the Clinton State Department to cause civil strife in Arab countries was always a mystery to me, and probably a mystery to Putin. My guess is that all he wants is a certain amount of stability there and I can’t say that I disagree.

Sorry to say Walt but he’s not wrong…..Israel, Britain, Russia…..we do it right back. Funny to see the left cling to it so desperately to defend the honor of such a horrible presidential candidate.

And we revisit Mexico’s ongoing acrivities, overt and lauded, to mess with our elections. It’s a tautology to say we mess with everyone else’s elections. And it’s only the Democrat dufus double-dummies who think they just discovered Russia messing with us. Remember, it was the Left all during the Cold War that didn’t believe in the nefarious activities the USSR was promoting all over the world.
Now here’s a homework problem for all the astute RR readers. Can you find a single first world power that has not sought to influence the elections of another country, be they friend or foe?

As an alternative, if you like that kind of configuration (and don’t go the Ruger route), you could check out Saiga Sporters. Cheap, potentially not black-rifle looking.

Can you image what would happen if the Israeli ties to US election manipulation were dug into to the extent that Russia/Trump (and not Russia / Clinton or anyone else) has been? Jeesh, the world would come to an end
As I probably mentioned before, Trump is the most highly vetted candidate or office-holder in history. The soft coup that we’ve been treated to has that to say for it. The stay-behind forces have been putting in overtime.

what is your vies of Trumps recent tweet when he wrote
“When a country (USA) is losing many billions of dollars on trade with virtually every country it does business with, trade wars are good, and easy to win. Example, when we are down $100 billion with a certain country and they get cute, don’t trade anymore-we win big. It’s easy!”

PaulE 528pm – As I made clear in the last sandbox, I don’t agree with the President’s trade policy. I haven’t seen what the net effect on jobs will be when the metals tariffs go in place, AND our trading partners start retaliating with their own tariffs. But it does appear that we already have enough capacity to produce all the steel and aluminum needed for national security. Have you seen any reputable estimates of the numbers?
However, if Trump’s reciprocal tariffs policy does work out, he will be hailed as a hero of the American working class.

It makes perfect sense to me. This global international “diversified” non-God non-borders no -cultural Shangri-La is only what old pinko professors in elite colleges and unelected members of the EU Parilment taught the snowflakes how things will be. Promise. Get ready for Big Bro and his faceless hordes telling us what is best. Sounded great in the lectures. But not so great where real people live in real countries. Nationalism is not isolation, it’s a cultural thang. That’s something the Lefties hate more than God.

    S again. Wrong link.
Darn it, here is the link to the fantastic 7:22 pm above. South Africa, slaughter the Y-T’s, culture, and nationalism makes perfect sense in the real world.
“The Rhodesia of Spitfire pilot Ian Smith was a jewel of a nation of 250,000 whites and several million blacks that produced trade surpluses even when boycotted and sanctioned by a hating world.
When Smith was forced to yield power, “Comrade Bob” Mugabe took over and began the looting of white Rhodesians, and led his Shona tribesmen in a slaughter of the Matabele of rival Joshua Nkomo.
Eighty-five percent of the white folks who lived in Rhodesia, prior to “majority rule,” are gone from Zimbabwe. More than half of the white folks who made South Africa the most advanced and prosperous country on the continent are gone.
Are these countries better places than they were? For whom?
Looking back over this 21st century, the transnational elite that envisions the endless erosion of national sovereignty, and the coming of a new world order of open borders, free trade and global custody of mankind’s destiny, has triggered a counter-revolution.”

Somehow I think most folks can deal with a half cent on a can of beer for awhile to bolster our brothers and sisters in the rust belt. One of the biggest costs in aluminum production is energy. The US thanks to fracking will be the biggest producer of energy in the world this year. That is a domestic production cost advantage that matters. Turn off the tap on inferior chi com metals is a win-win!

More tales from a stormy night. Politics aside, I always had a soft spot for Donna Brazile.
“In a later mention of Rich, Brazile wrote that his murder haunted her. Brazile said she had a “spook” with connections to the intelligence community who advised her after Rich’s killing that she needed protection for herself.
Brazile heeded the advice and installed cameras, alarms and backup power at her home. She also kept the blinds in her DNC office window closed so she could not be seen by snipers.
The Daily Caller reported that Brazile was so concerned about Rich’s murder that she mentioned it during her brief, one-time phone call from Hillary Clinton following her loss in the 2016 election.
Brazile asked Clinton to contribute some of the millions remaining in her campaign’s legal fund as a reward for information leading to the arrest of Rich’s murderer(s).”

Yep, it has been one interesting bumpy ride since Citizen Trump threw his hat in the ring for the first and only time. I thought that Gold Star Mom and Muslim immigration lawyer Dad would never go away….but it did like countless other media created hysterias. Tonight I am reflecting on all the various characters that jumped out in front of Mr. Trump’s wild ride trying to stop it dead in its path. It’s like looking at the wake of a cyclone that blew through with lib bodies everywhere. Never get tired of winning.

Somehow I think you have the reasoning horsepower of a rock. How many thousands of pounds of steel go into bulldozers and cranes and railcars? Add 25% to the cost of steel and you are talking money. Infrastructure rebuild will use millions of tons of rebar and rails. Trump just decreased by 25% the buying power of contractors bidding heavy metal jobs. And the other countries haven’t even begun to retaliate. Stupid, short term, feel good move to assuage the instant gratification folks like you.

Given that a) the Russian hacking narrative hinges on Crowdstrikes’s questionable reporting, and b) a mountain of evidence pointing to Seth Rich as the source of the leaked emails – it stands to reason that Congressional investigators and Special Counsel Robert Mueller should at minimum explore these leads.
