I admit that I’d never heard of countries who won’t take back their citizens. It’s crazy that it ever came to pass, merely revoking visas to the US is the perfect and appropriate countermeasure. Simply start with the President-for-Life from XXXXistan’s wife on a shopping trip and things would get cleared up toot sweet.
No doubt we’ll have a good ol’ car-burnin’, brick-throwin’, punch-the-Nazi-or-anyone-nearby sort of demonstration from the Party of Peace(tm) as a result.

Walt. That video upset my stomach. Lost my wallet once on a deep sea fishing trip, along with my breakfast, cookies, and even the puke bucket. Nothing like grabbing the bucket in the galley, heaving a few times, racing upstairs with a mouthful to do some cumming over the rail with bucket in hand just when a big swell crashes down on ya sending you slipping and sliding down the deck. Seasick is one thing, drenched, shivering and seasick is something from the Great Beyond. What could be worse? A: watching your wallet go flying off into the watery grave.

Burning Man
Returning from our eclipse viewing in Idaho we saw a lot of vehicles on I-80 heading for Burning Man. The fueling station in Fernley was jammed with people and RVs of every vintage, but older seemed to be the theme. According to a radio report, Reno is expecting 17,000 people Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, all incoming flights fully booked, all flight the following weekend are booked. How many are headed for Burning Man this year? Nevada City should be real quiet with all the nut cases in Nevada for a week.

Well, well, well. The Emery Brothers made the news just yesterday. Let’s see what we have behind door number three. Odd, very odd indeed. For someone who scours the Wa Compost on a daily basis, I just can’t imagine how Paul Emery could have missed this one. Or did he? Silence is violence!

Nevada City should be a ghost town sure enough. Our infrequent commentaries One this site should go eerily silent as well. Even Sky Pilot Michael P. A. will make his yearly pilgrimage. His plane is the one with all the tacky metal medallions and other weirdo metal junk welded to the outside of the fuselage, completely covered with nary an inch unmolested. Oh dear, I hope he lands it safety. He can crash and burn after the celebration of decadence.
Note to self. Make sure to wear proper protective gear if heading to Nevada City the days immediately following the Burning of The Man finale. It takes our pilgrims a day or two to get cleaned up and fumigated. Refrain from close contact and carry extra alcohol wipes and rubber gloves. Better check if if I have enough respirator masks. You gotta be proactive nowadays.

Gentlemen, when you start connecting tragic and bizarre stories in the news to other readers because their last names happened to be the same, it looks like you have run out of gas intellectually with regard to your debating skills. I considered taking those gratuitous comments down, but then thought they may serve better as monuments to remind you and others of past peccadillos gone awry. I don’t know what their initial humor and cleverness quotient was, but I believe it has diminished considerably since they were penned.
