   The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), an agency of the Interior Department, Tuesday published in the Federal Register its plans to eliminate restrictions on hydraulic fracturing on federal lands, a ban the Obama administration put in place in 2015. The so-called “fracking ban” has been on hold since July 2016 when a federal court in Wyoming suspended it, saying BLM had no authority to regulate the technique for extracting oil and natural gas.
   The Russian Connection does not seem to be working, Russia funded environmental groups to lobby against fracking, I am guessing when Obama said he would have more flexibility after the election he was thinking about fracking bans. Oil is a major part of the Russian economy.

    For those who might want to keep an eye on the global mean sea level as determined by satellite radar altimetry, I found this JPL data when poking around for something including the new Jason-3 data:

    They promise updates every 10 days. Eyeballing, an optimist might be happy, a pessimist might be sad, and a realist might be willing to wait to decide which way it’s going and in the meantime suggest it may in the short term just be returning to the 3.4mm/yr rate measured since the start of the satellite era.

    I think there truly is a line in public discourse though. I have been attacked all my public life and called the vilest names. Yet my personal standards keep me from doing the same. I think Paul Emery is porely disingenuious in his outrage though. But hey, we will see what results are up. I like Reince and Bannon so perhaps Scaramucci is over the line anyway.

    All this squawking about barring people who are so confused they don’t know what sex they are from the military is hogwash. 7 years of the Obama Afministration they were banned from joining.     First, trannies having their pecker’s cut off cannot be deployed anywhere in the world. They have to stay close to a medical facility that specializes in growing boobs and cutting off dicks, and that sort of thang.. Post-op is painful and slow for almost any operation, but post-op on major reconstructive surgery with added hormone injections during recovery is too painful and off the charts for my mind to wrap around as the body adjusts to both the knife and massive intake of hormones. Then all the therapists and hormone treatments and the painful massive discomfort that ensues. The sex change addicts are basically worthless as soldiers, cannot be deployed for a year or two, and the only thing lethal about them as a fighting force is what they did to their own schlongs.
    At least all Klinger did was wear a dress and heels with a purse and rifle strung across his shoulder….with his five o’clock shadow. This is not the end of the world. The new policy (in place for a year) is not good for military readiness. Bye-bye. The sky is not falling….except if you listen to the fakenews wingnuts. All wings, no nuts.

    Liked how that Northeast Congressman (D) said the only reason the R’s are going after Imran Awan is solely because….well, you know….because of the color of his skin, being from Pakistan and all. Boy, I figured that wrong. Figured the only reason we are going after the bush rat conman was because…..you know,……..cause him being Muslim and all. :).
