My only and oft-repeated desire is that RR commenters record their grand thoughts and pronouncements about a topic under its most recently posted commentary by yours truly. Pay particular attention to the topics as they appear in the 'Ruminations' and 'Scattershots' posts, and don't continue collecting everything in the mishmash of threads that make up the last sandbox. My my. First we hear Comey (via the FBI) paid 50,000 clams for Yellow Shower dirt. Yesterday, that figure grew to 100,000 clams, now its $200,000 bucks for more fakenews dirt….to give Susan Rice the excuse to spy on Trump. Lol. Good thing Comey and the Special Prosecuter take family vacations together. Sweet deal for Comey’s legal jeopardy…like none..
Now, this whole thing is messed up. Apparently according to PUNCHY, not only did the Russians inject dirt into our election, the Trump Campaign supplied dirt TO the Rooskies. Guess that doorswings both ways.

44% approve of Trump? Now, that is some good news on a slow news day. All during the race to the White House, Trump was hovering around that 39-40% mark for months. Usually closer to 38% than 40.5%. Great news because 44% is higher than Trump was on election eve…..according to the Pollin’ Down the River Fakenews. That was a Creedence song I think. Punchy, what you missed in your rush to show you had the Trump approval number correct was your breathless declaration that Trump was in freefall a’gin.
His approval has been moving sideways since mid March, up and down the same 4 points around a median of 46%. Up to 50, down to 42, repeat like a drunken sailor.
Eventually, if you and Maddow don’t find something that will stick, like a crime, the people will get tired of the fake news shtick that drove Trump’s approval down… in time for November 2018.

I get it, Punchy. Opinion polls are the only metric you have to gauge how effective the bullcrap that’s getting thrown is at damaging the GOP brand.
Give it a rest. It will be turning against you bigly if the turnaround in AGW signals is clear before Nov 2018, yuugely bigly if Trump also ends up smelling like a rose after the last Russkie collusion cowflop hits the fan. The GOP TV and radio campaign ads will write themselves.
