Another sad bit of news about our sinking civilization.
A judge decided it’s OK to deliberately mislead the public as long as the folks being slandered are conservative.
Money quote: “She went on to admit that the eight-second pause was a “misleading” edit that “[did] not accurately represent” the response of VCDL members.”
Despite Couric’s admission, Judge Gibney dismissed the defamation suit against her last week. He ruled that the depiction of VCDL members did not meet the threshold of making them appear “unfit as a gun rights advocacy organization.”
I thought defamation was defamation. I’m sure the twisted logic of that judge could be used to destroy any defamation suit.

Yes Scott we have a number of ‘interesting’ 0 judicial appointees. The good news is that there is yuge backlog of federal judicial openings, many very important. They have already expanded the roving immigration judge pool. It should be an interesting year for judicial appointments. Kennedy is rumored to be ready to enjoy a few years with his grand kids away from the bench. There are some medical issues on the court too.
No matter what, winning the last election will impact the judiciary for a generation with picks like Justice Gorsuch. 😉

Trump does not have a self-destructive personality, Paul Emery. He is all about life and the good things life provides. He has wonderful kids and grandkids, billions of hard eaned dollars, thousands of employees and wonderful building all around the world. That is a man that loves life. So take a look in the mirror to see someone jealous of a successful person who has become the most famous and powerful man on this little blue marble.
And Comey has done nothing that is damaging to Trump. At the best it is a he said he said about their conversations. Comey is a real ego maniac and it is a good thing he is no longer the FBI Director.

That was better than when Trump had a special run of bottled water made with Trump labels and sent Rubio a few cases…along with some fancy embossed Trump towels to wipe his face with.
Maybe we can go back to the beginning when Trump was just another Limousine Liberal that was rejected because he was from Queens of all places. Queens!
