   I saw what Paul was freaking out over on Yahoo News. Trump is a funny guy. He was paling around with some deputies and also said “I bet the cartel would like that”, about ending the program to the delight of the officers in the room. That was after someone asked him about the state legislature who wanted to end the practice. “Who is it, I will destroy them” got the room howling. The deputies offered no names of the “who done it lawmaker” and let it ride. No one was being thrown under the bus. In reality, it was two state lawmakers that co-authored the bill, one D and on R….one a female, FYI. Bi-partisan and bi-gender. The big top.
   Trump brought more attention to the issue in 10 seconds than Obama or the DOJ did in 8 years. And made the room laugh. Trump is a funny guy for being The Emperor God. Usually Emperor Gods are not known for lighting up a room. How absolutely deplorable of him.

    Now, where is Congress submitting bills in a flurry? They have to jump on this 100 day bandwagon and start writing some stuff. I hope the R’s don’t still think it is important that the Left like them. Never happen.
    We can’t run this country on Executive Orders. All I hear from the R’s in Congress is we have to wait on tax reform, Obamacare, the Wall, and the few important items that put them in office. At least one R submitted a bill to eliminate the Education Department yesterday. It is one sentence, but that is one sentence more that the whole Congress has written so far. Poop or get off the pot.

    Toes, I think eliminating the US Department of Education would be an interesting way for remove DeVos from the cabinet… in fact, she might even agree!
    They don’t actually educate any students and mostly serve to get in the way of state and local entities actually trying to teach. Yes, they distribute a Dakota Access pipeline worth of cash to everyone who can catch it but there’s always strings attached that soak up a large amount of the cash. Carrying charges.
    Probably not a snowflake’s chance in hell for that to go though this year.
    Regarding BC’s desire to fire Trump, let’s get together on that in November 2020. In the meantime, loyal Democrats should do their darnedest to not lose too many of their seats up for grabs in 2018… 25, a full 10 from Trump states. Ouch.

    Regarding the secession initiative and its support by the left here.
    If the State Legislature does this they should all be arrested for sedition. Our fathers and grandfathers did not defeat fascism and tyranny so these “snowflakes” in California could secede. So yes they are the new “Confederacy” and should be dealt with harshly.
