[Hah! Here's fresh sand before anyone started bitching about it; perhaps a first. So it looks like the progressive outlets are all agreed that the sky is falling since Trump got elected. They are also sure that the Russians and Chinese are coming and the American republic (for which they have had little use) is also lost. Pretty soon we may have the Daily Kos, MSNBC, CNN, … digging up plans for home bomb shelters from the 1950s and getting their union schools to start teaching 'Duck and Cover' again. gjr]

Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp on Wednesday asked President-elect Donald Trump to investigate the Department of Homeland Security’s apparent attempt to hack his office’s computer system.
In a letter to Trump, Kemp asked that the president-elect to act once he is sworn in to office in January.
Kemp said he is not satisfied with the response from current DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson.
“Since contacting DHS with these concerns, we have collaborated with the agency and provided extensive, additional information,” Kemp wrote. “Last night I received a letter from Secretary Johnson which lacked any specific information as to the attacks’ intent or origin despite the fact that many questions remain unanswered.”

Nah, no place to run. My legs just don’t fly like the wind like they used to. Avoidance is probably the wisest and best option, but ain’t my style. Replying and arguing is just a waste of precious time and energy. Attacking the lame, the slow, the mentally incapacitated would be unethical. Can’t run, can’t hide, can’t attack. A dilemma for sure.

At least one Libertarianish Republican is taking a stand against Neocon John Bolton. At least we can agree on that. What a bullshitter Trump is when he campaigns against the Iraq war and wants to appoint one of the wars engineers Bolton to the #2 Defense spot,
