Score! Dozer must have had a bad night. Or came home and heard about the FB story about some crazy loon from Nevada City, CA, 95959 saying the Orlando survivors interviewed were just those folks from that Government acting school in Arizona. Yep, KVMR had me convinced once that Sandy Hook never happened and those grieving parents and shocked witnesses where really actors from that secret Government acts school in Arizona. They do make a compelling argument I must say. Arizona? Boy, the Turquoise Rock State is in the news a lot lately. Follow the bouncing ball.
Opps, the point: Dozer hit all the big talking points in just 3 short sentences. A true gift.
Austerity, tax breaks for the rich, Idaho, German-Ametican, even a four letter word thrown in to emphasize Scotty don’t know shit about IMPROVING the lives of POOR blacks with a nice finish ending in Ruby Ridge. Bravo, Dozer, Bravo. “Encore! Encore!” chants the cheering throngs.
Me thinks Scotty from Eye-Dee-Ho is not the one uptight is lovely day.

Reinette Senum’s “apology” today. You be the judge.
“I would like to extend an apology first and foremost to the Nevada City Police Department whom I have the utmost respect for. I have attended many meetings with Chief Tim Foley and have had the privilege of working with him and his officers in the capacity of tending to the homeless, homeless camp cleanups, and city-wide cleanings. In no way did I mean to offend our highly regarded officers with my comments on Facebook.
I also apologize for using such a broad brush that our local officers felt they were included in my statement.
The intent was not to vilify our police force but to point out a well documented trend that is causing a public backlash towards the police. I have been pointing this out for years that ultimately any kind of violence begets violence.
Whether because of the lack of systemic changes or the continued acquittal of police officers charged with murder, many American citizens are feeling helpless towards this rising conflict. In 2014 and 2015 not one officer was convicted for murder when there were roughly 1,000 deadly shooting per year. This statistic is sending people into the streets to protest.
I think it also very important to clarify that immediately upon posting on my Facebook Nevada County Scooper, a satirical publication put out a fake article that grossly misrepresented what I posted. Most people still do not know this is a satirical piece — shared throughout social media as real — though I consider it more malicious and intentional misinterpretation of my post than anything
In this spoof it stated that I said the police ‘got what they deserved.’ Again, this was a drummed up story penned by an anonymous writer. This begs me to ask, who is this person and what is their motive?
Today, we need to insist that America’s law enforcement includes in their standards and tactics how to interact with members of the public.
We can have great sympathy for our police while holding them to high standards as well as the same laws that apply to the average citizen.
We need to ensure training includes race sensitivity, de-escalation tactics, when and how to make arrests, and how to approach the public on the streets and during traffic stops, as well as prosecute the offending officers.
I praise the Dallas police that was targeted and find it unfortunate that the department that was attacked had been making some of the greatest strides in progressive change and revising their training standards.
Ultimately, I hope that good can come from this and that a deep conversation ensues.”

There is a razor thin line between an apology and an excuse. When Reinette blamed Scooper for “grossly misrepresenting” her this became nothing but a piss poor excuse. How do you grossly misrepresent “This was completely incited by America’s police force. They have obviously been given directives to go out there and kill. It’s insane and it’s meant to create mayhem.”?
If she has such great relations with Foley, why did they vote unanimously to demand that she be removed from office?

Psss: Scott. He will meet you at 3 Rivers or 3 Forks in beautiful downtown Nevada City, CA, home to the local chapter of the NAACP (CP at the end means colored folk in case you ever wondered) run by some crazy white chick. Different look than that crazy white chick from the funny farm in Montana who ended as the local chapter top dog at Spokane’s NAACP. Don’t be fooled. Our negro has straight blondish hair. That’s the way they roll in Nevada City, CA, 95959…. but I rambled off track.
Heck, Scott, he even invited me to stop buy and have myself a nice cold one at 3 Rivers or Forks. Think it’s near the Chinese Shrine in the new metered parking lot where all the homeless hang out and do the bad thing.

Rumbles in the jungle have it that the other Nevada County LE are joining Nevada City Police Dept. in calls for Senum to step down. I wonder how she will try and spin this on the news today after last nights trashing in the press? If this ends up going national even the Nevada City Chamber will turn their back on her. She spent all day yesterday defending what she said on facebook, she said what she meant to. Seeing the whole NCPD standing in front of the City hall on the news obviously made her team tell her she had to try to suck up to the NCPD if she had any hope of salvaging her self from her own disaster.

Well, Dozer, you have grown at pair I see and appeared. That, my good fellow, moves you up one rung on the ladder. Always give credit.
Hey, somebody has to defend her. Better you than me. Yeah, I do see the forest from the trees and heard that same screed back when it wasn’t a civil rights movement, just those rascally Blank Panters. I, for one, ain’t about to walk into one of their parties uninvited, Then there was the most hysterical time in ’70 I think where white cops murdering some black folk every 6 hours it seemed by the news.. Man, the rumors were flying, a nice young black newscaster with the “sky is the limit” potentials was hot on the tail and right on all this stuff, and then her pulled a Reinette and…well, his was believing a couple of witnesses about the cops beating a sleeping homeless man to death and…..there was no death cause it’s what two other homeless told him on camera. There never was a homeless man sleeping Ouch. End of that career. Wild times, never really goes away, just under the surface.
Reinettes or whatever her name is…well, I get it. I see her point…..the last 2-3 parapahs of her ill advised posting on her personal FB page is the exact recycled last 2-3 paragraphs straight out of the Knowlege is Dangerous Manual.
Even through I am a recovering stupid drunken liberal who rocked to Street Fighting Man and found The Doors difficult to dance to does not mean I forgot. I disagree with her theis, but I am rubbing her face in it with that cover shot. Heck, everybody has already an attention span of zero, that is why a picture is worth a thousand words.

Here is a post to Jeff he apparently didn’t think followed his message. We can only wonder what small percentage of posts he actually prints. If you think Pelline’s is a place to get a peek into the thoughts of our friends and neighbors, think again. It’s a place to read what he thinks you should be allowed to read.
Jeff- I am not normally any kind of fan of Don Bessee, but he does express a vaild point of view regarding Reinette. It may not be your view, but his is not over the wall “bat-shit crazy” as are so many of Senum’s. I, for one, deeply admire and respect our law enforcement agencies and couldn’t believe my eyes when I read Senum’s screed stating that “American police have been given directives to go out there and kill.”. Holding those kinds of beliefs, I do not believe she is capable of overseeing any Police Department in a sane and reasonable fashion. The Nevada County Sheriff, Nevada City Police, and Placer County Sheriff all publicly agree with my conclusion. Law enforcement officers from around the country have signed the petition to have Senum removed from an office where her duties include overseeing our city police.
. . . and Bruce Levy asks, “What does being elected to office have anything to do with it?” Her office oversees the same police officers she just drug through the manure.

Smith is right on on this. Pelline is a censor. He knows best. The mark of a narcissist. But on this one the people of the community are ashamed and embarrassed that a person with such a terrible attitude like Senum is overseeing the city. Pelline is a laughingstock for not taking a firm position against Senum’s remarks. He has marginalized himself and for once he needs to take personal responsibility for his idiotic words. What a podunk creep.

People keep saying that Reinette was elected. All three members of the new city council were appointed. Not one vote was cast for or against. And this is the third election in NC that failed to attract enough candidates for a real contest.

The same must be said for Keith Royal. Anyone can run for city council and the lack of interest likely indicates apathy. Anyone who runs against Royal is setting themselves up against the sheriff. I think a bit of fear might enter into that equation. For a host of reasons term limits should apply to every elected office in government.

Flying….? Probably mid 2001…..I bought a house and with it went disposable income. Picked up the A&P as I was looking for a transition out out my current job (that really didn’t pan out given the events of 2008 – 2011) and I really felt bad about not getting one while serving in the Chair Force.

Good going Reinette. Why don’t you go down and talk to some of the widows or fatherless children and explain why Daddy is never coming home and how they deserved this. It’s a good bet no one in Dallas will remember the name Reinette Senum in this context, but Nevada City is etched in their brains forever. I don’t want you to represent me or our community.

Look, it’s Nevada City and she will have much support in the Berkely of the Foothills, a berg of around 3,000 souls, with about half or more of them lost souls.
RS has paid it forward for along time in goodwill. My opinion is she is and will remain a community organizer, but should in no uncertain terms be not allowed anywhere even s close to being in a position of governance…..they do say 5% of the folks do 95% of the work…she will stay, but hopefully as a plain ole common cooper penny community organizer outside of City Hall.

My English teacher in high school said the FIRST sentence of a paragraph is the subject/theme sentence. The rest supports the first and the last sentence is the conclusion.

After the outrage dies down, and Nevada City handles it the way “their community” chooses to handle this delicate matter is all good with me. She has a vision for transforming Nirvanna City into her own image or whatever she has in her head. She is a great coalition builder and…..she had some peoples backs, and they have her back now. She has a noticeable poor record of projects that were viable, say, 6 months after she got the ball rolling and bailed to another thing that needs to get done. Right side of brain is not so good. Left side is where her juices are flowing. An artist mind with Andy the Handyman hands.

Now I hope that all RR readers are astute enough to understand how all this pivot to ‘gun violence’ in response to police shootings and police being shot has totally moved Hillary’s crimes off the media and out of the mass memory of the masses. She must be doing pirouettes of joy in her nighty every night.

My, my. Although this man’s statements captured the theme of RS’s recent comment, I was shocked to find out he was a prominent member of the Socialist Party. Shocking, I tell ya, shocking.

Maybe it is time to start “the dialogue”. Perhaps this might be good place to start.

Remember Chip nobody at “Hate Club” (…and hey, remember the first rule of Hate Club is that you DON’T TALK ABOUT HATE CLUB 🙂 ) is speaking while simultaneously serving is a supervisory capacity in local government. We are repeatedly told that nothing we say is interesting, relevant, or important as we are not members of the progressive intelligencia. Ms Senum is and serves in a very visible (relatively speaking) role.
If you whine and complain sufficiently it’s possible that KVMR may remove George from his show……how is this different from objecting to the ill advised remarks from Ms. Senum?
