    Off base obsession with Mr. Mongoloid? Heck, I spied him sitting with a lady at a table usually reserved for a party of six. Geeze, my first impression was this poor guy looks like a he is literally retarded….er….a person with Down Syndrome. It was that look in his eyes and he knew I was staring at him. I tried to look away, and did, but this sick curiosity lead my eyes back to the scene just for a quick peek. His girth and neck width was my next stare and he obvisiously was well acquainted with being stared at. His lovely partner grabbed his hand and must have muttered something like “don’t worry about them.” He turned to her comforting words and continued to shove food in his mouth for more comfort.
    Sorry, I just had to look again and then turned my back and pretended everything was normal..except there is a 900 pound gorilla in the place and nobody feels it’s proper to talk about it! Hush, hush time. Can you say “awkward?”
    Off-base obsession?? More like morbid curiosity. Wonder what the Irish think?
    Good thing I was there for takeout. Couldn’t get that sight out of my mind quick enough. Food was great as usual, consumed in a more pleasant setting…like anywhere but the restaurant. I love The Sandbox.

    And “Dozer”/FUE, the point of the Other Voices (not a letter) story was that I was not personally invested in the Hall/Strawser race, contrary to your snide claims to the contrary. I also don’t care that much about what the lefty rabble in District 1 think about climate science because on the whole, they’re as clueless as the average Rhetoric or PoliSci major when it comes to the physical sciences.
    Mother Nature is running the experiment. She has the final word and right now, the word is that it’s getting cooler.

    Trump will win hands down. The Never Trump crowd is just warming up for Round 2 and haven’t gone anywhere. The Establish is still the Establishment and stupid is as stupid does. Trump is doing fairly well considering our only choice is going it alone. There are a bunch of RINOs laying on the ground still coughing up Trump’s dust and…….well, I remember President Dukais was up way more than Hillary is now over his Republican challenger in June of that year. His campaign manager Susan Estridge and all the Dems that important Dems were gloating and giggling and running around saying “pinch me”. Then August came and then….what, you never heard of President Michael Dukais? Same here.
    Dozer, just put your game face away. It’s over. You win. Time to take off the armor and declare victory. Yep, just let your guard down and relax. The conventions are so boring anyway. And September will be the same as any September, so you won’t miss anything.
