Heidi Hall has all kinds of outside money from some questionable sources. And she spends most of that in outside vendors. So perhaps Cross is on to something. But it is not the right, it is the left. What about that Bobbie?

Mr. Cross @ 9:46 AM,
I take it I can put you in the NO on W camp. Yep, it’s hard to soar with eagles when you fly with turkeys. I feel your deep frustration. Like pounding your head against that 9 ton boulder trying to get it to move. We must have cotton in our ears.
Sticking one’s head in the sand and barking like a seal is not the solution and that is pretty much what seems to be the case here.”
Ok, fair enough. How about a barking dog. Will that work better?

Todd, are you referring to Hall’s 2014 campaign donations for 1st District? I cannot find much info on the 2016 campaign.
I wish people would include links to support their claims.LikeLike

Frisch and Pelline are at it again with Duane Strawser as their target and Trump as well. Two more losers joining Dozer and Cross here. What a hoot! Frisch donated some of his money (where is the source?) to Heidi Hall.

re JonD’s 409pm – I wonder if Mr Dozer is capable of even remotely presenting the analysis of RobertC’s 946am that caused him to bestow his “kudos”. His response could most certainly serve to recalibrate past assessments of his discriminatory powers.

Dr. Rebane, dream on. Oh, just hold your breath and Mr. Dozer will respond to the exact analysis you desire. When You wish upon a star……
Back in the day, gobberment watched every penny and dealt with the shysters in a very public manner. No ripping off gobberment for millions of greenbacks for Bald Eagle shredders, solar panels taken to the dump, or private jets to the Mean Green Confab Machine in Paris. Shame, shame Mr. Dozer
For Mr. Dozer’s coming out party, I am thinking a straight jacket chained to a light post just does not make the grade. No, just won’t cut it. All public viewing and associated ridicule must be done according to the proper procedures to achieve the desired effect. No straight jacket…it might evoke pity for the scoundrel. The villainous dishonest and dishonorable lout deserves no pity. Stocks it is. Mark the tape.

Now that active Dems on the voter polls in Nevada County exceed the Pubbers, combined with the addition of the Libertarians and Greens things don’t look good for W at this time especially when you add the Bernie bounce and Repub apathy due to a lack of drama in the primary. The no’s have waged a pretty thorough campaign with attention to the potential for our economy to thrive with a legal cottage industry from cultivation under new State laws. Nevada City and Grass Valley businesses are posting no signs with very few yes signs.
The Bernie bounce will be real. They are organized and will have an effective get out the vote campaign for sure. Should be record Dem turnout. Remember Nevada County voted for Charlie Brown over Tom McClintock in ’08 so there are Repubs that swing both ways.LikeLike

Cottage Industries? I thought this was all about helping Grannie dying of pancreatic cancer. Surprise, surprise.
In another less important turn of events, me thinks Sanders has carefully watched and studied Trump and is finally following his lead. No more Mr. Nice Guy. Maybe now he cares about her damn e-mails. It’s about time. Now he is acting like he has no respect for the Clinton Machine and its little spinoff, the DNC. Bern it down!
“In another sign Sanders has taken off the gloves, his campaign late Friday demanded the ouster of Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy and former Rep. Barney Frank of Massachusetts from a platform committee at the Democratic National Convention. The campaign, in a statement, said the two are “aggressive attack surrogates” for Clinton, and Sanders’s lawyer said Malloy and Frank can’t work impartially “while laboring under such deeply held bias.” ”
Guess than means no lisping allowed.

I wonder when “The Onion” will sue NBC for copying and using its business model….news fakery?
EL BUSTED: Telemundo Caught Staging Shot at Anti-Trump Protest in San Diego (video).
Related: “Aside from watching his reaction to being busted, the best moment by far was the sight of the cameraman trying to explain to the protesters that their beloved Mexican flag was flying upside-down.”
Telemundo is owned by NBC, which employs at least one spokesman extremely familiar with faking protests and ginning up riots.

You surprise me with your support of W. I thought you were opposed to government intrusion on property rights and were opposed to over regulation by government agencies. Also I assumed you would support economic opportunity for our residents, in this case the ability to conform to new State regulations allowing cultivation on Medical marijuana . How do you temper your conservative values to support Measure W?LikeLike

Incoming! Danger Will Robinson.
The big question about all these county wide measures is has the demographics/public sentiment changed sufficiently enough to move the needle….this time in history. Sure, rec grass will be legal and it’s closer than the horizon, along with the county turning green and blue. It’s just a matter of time. But, is that day not only fast approaching, is it here now? That is the only argument on the table, the hopes and fears of all things political. We just gotta wait until the rubber meets the road on June 7, 2016.
All agruments have been presented and rehashed and regurgitated more anyone can count. Patience comes to those who wait (and doctors). Welcome to the waiting room.LikeLike

Nice try Paul. What about “enemies foreign and domestic”? We can’t shoot them on sight either.
Along with your “logic”, forget IMM? What about those “property rights”? Being allowed to dig for money on one’s own property is pretty much impossible. Unless you have several million to fight for the right to, in the form of EIRs, permits, fees, studies, the ECO bastard lawsuits for years to come.
Yaaaaa,, Paul,,, “property rights”… In Ca? LOL!!!!!

Ever taken a look at Google Earth? It’s not hard to see where the pot growers are.
You want to grow a pharmaceutical? ( that’s called medicine Paul,,,) Get a licence.
Funny how your a one issue “property rights” stumper. Yup,NH2020! It was fin for your ECO gang to jump fences in search of “endangered” anything. I recall well your position, being in Izzy Martin’s camp. You sure clammed up about “miner’s rights”.
You can’t be for one “right” and be against all the rest that fit the bill.

You have to love the Internet. What one posts is pretty much here forever.(so far)
Paul states he was never a “supporter”. That’s a half truth. He wasn’t that much against it either. “His rights were not being bridged”,, so no skin off his butt. The whole time, Paul is belittling those against 2020 as “conspiracy nuts”.
It’s all in Dr.R’s archives. Now all of a sudden property rights are a concern to Paul.
Not much back then. Looking to make a buck off pot Paul?

The Dem push in Nevada County is greater than I thought according to Yubanet:
“Democrats number 24,441, Republicans 23,264, No Party Preference 14,213 – with 2,316 American Independent, 880 Green, 715 Libertarian, 184 Peace&Freedom and 96 other voters rounding out the voter total.
In 2008, Republicans numbered 25,992, Democrats 21,716 and 12,327 registered as No Party Preference voters.
The Bernie bump could be the edge in sinking W.LikeLike

Oh my, the Trump Effect. Now, how did this slip past the PC Police? If you can’t say “America is the land of opportunity” if your workplace is the gov’t because such utterances are hurtful, then they will flip out over this. Maybe not. The private sector does thing differently. They stay in business by attraction, the gobberment by cohershion

Like I said Paul,, you become a turncoat on a single issue. “dope growing”. Now all of a sudden you have a “come to Jesus”moment. I know how weed effects a person. Been there, done that. It goes beyond “property rights”. HELL! I can’t even set fire to a brush pile without a permit. Some in your ECO clan demand I haul it to the dump and PAY to do so.
Lets say weed is legalized. OK,, now we have more people on dope, that won’t be able to get a job. You know damned well there are drug free work laws on the books, and employers are obligated to drug screen by their insurance companies. An MMJ card isn’t going to get one around that. (again.. Been there) Rec. dope use will cost us taxpayers even more.
Yes,, MMJ has it’s benefits. But 60% of the county isn’t in need of it.
I put some questions your way, and as usual, flat out ignored them. (you take the time to go find them)
The local laws got changed because the growers defied the limits in mass. ALL for the big bucks.
As for “property rights”, just which mining operation were you in favor of?
Parts of NH2020 are alive and well. Many a parcel of land is now useless because of some
claim by the “environmental dept. using that “collected” data. I have first hand knowledge of that. You ready to take to the airwaves to fight that “property rights” injustice? 1.3 million was shelled out, and it can’t be used due to environmental “issues”.
The Sheriff couldn’t build a new shooting facility over off Dead Man’s flat because of the dirt. It was “special” dirt. Forever not to be messed with. A high magnesium content if memory is correct, and a “rare” pant needed that dirt to grow. I don’t believe they even found that plant growing there… “but it could”.
So when you come around to “right to use” for everyone, get back to me. Not “screw the miners” but growing pot is “FINE and DANDY”.
Like you said Paul,, you can’t have it both ways.LikeLike
-
Walt, how can you go to bed so angry? LOL. Holy cow, what a bedtime rant that was!
HINT Walt: There are no undergrown miners here less than age 85, no underground mines here. No matter how much you hope and pray for mining to return, there’s not enough economically recoverable gold here to make it worthwhile for any capitalist business. Its been shown pretty clearly over the last decade.
Walt, mining is over. Its so 1930s. Move on.LikeLike
-
JonD 922am – Spoken like a true collectivist from Olympus. If “there’s not enough economically recoverable gold here to make it worthwhile for any capitalist business”, then why did Newmont spend years and a fortune attempting to reopen the Idaho-Maryland? And if your assertion has a shred of truth, then why do all the ever-vigilant leftwing econuts stridently file lawsuits against any such enterprise when the laws of economics, according to your lights, would ‘naturally’ put a halt to such projects?
