Alta Sierra School is at least 3/4 of a mile away. It does no good to respond to you when all you spread is mis information. No mention of how sick my daughter is and why I did what I grew MMJ for her. You are not a compassionate person in any way, shape or form.

   Are you guys figuring out the difference between a progressive and liberal yet?
   Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton are perfect examples of the differences. Reform vs. building upon. Building upon complete dysfunction and corruption doesn’t work.
   If we want a smaller government we have to get rid the undue special interest money out of our political parties, government, legislation, trade deals, and regulations. Remove the money and the pay backs disappear and our government represents people while not giving the farm away in the process.

Test results that were not produced as evidence during the trial BTW but were produced 2 years after the fact? What about the test results we submitted during the trial that showed the plants were CBD’s – one of the reasons all charges were dropped against Brad? Most of the “plants” confiscated by the Sheriff were 6″ tall babies that were to be distributed to our growers – and they were all specialty strains of high CBD plants. Are you saying they kept 350 6″ plants for two years after the trial and wasted thousands of dollars to test them after the fact? How stupid do you think we are?
   Now you’re spreading lies about Richard Harris saying he grows marijuana across the street from an elementary school when he does not. Why can’t you just state the facts instead of exaggerating everything? Why did you try to paint him as a “commercial” grower when he shared his daughter’s story about her painful intractable muscle deterioration, a condition that is somewhat relieved with cannabis tinctures?
   Some people in glass houses smoke for recreational purposes while painting patients as commercial growers.

    I suggest you listen and contrast this to what Don said – and didn’t say – about Richard and decide if it was accurate or not. Wait til you here Sheriff Royal try to defend smearing Richard in the second half of the interview. The exchange between Sheriff Royal and Ed Scofield about why Richard wasn’t arrested if he was growing 200 plants is priceless when you consider the timing of Brad’s arrest and also Terry Lamphier..

No debts, no IOU’s to the flush fat cats, no giving the farm away, no begging for other people’s money, complete with walking around with his palms down, never up to be filled with blood money. And no scheming how to seperate John Doe 1%er from his wallet. Welcome back Ben. You must of had a fantastic moment of clarity. We agree! Well, maybe not on everything like Armenians, but welcome back nonetheless.
    BTW, the liberal media is getting all riled up cause your man just won’t quit and kiss Crooked Heartless Hillary’s behind that is already shot with corrupt diamonds. They are flipping out.     I listened to the whole tape and it is a he said she said apparentley. I am sorry for Mr. Harris’ daughter but he made some errors in this orchestrated interview with Emery. He said early on he never grew MJ then said he did. 12 plants last year. Later Royal said he could see the garden on Goog;e Earth which was spurred by the Colorado experience on people running for office who are growers. Anyway if Google eart allowed a person to see the grow it would seem to me to be a bigger garden than just 12 plants. Also, did his daughter use it all and if not where is the rest?
    So overall it is a standoff depending who you believe. Lots of third party accusations. Who was the “ear” on the Board office? It would be interesting to me who would take the private conversation of Royal and Scofield back to Harris. Paul Emery did not seem to be very interested in all the truth here.

    Pattie, Pattie, Pattie, I never said Mr. Harris is a commercial grower, ever, anywhere. Prove otherwise. I have been in the papers and on radio stations in the region a lot recently. Its not there. I was amazed that in his statement he acknowledged he had grown weed across the street from the Grammar school. His words, not mine.
    Posturing as a victim in the late stages of a campaign says it all. His property line is clear in the plat map.

    ToddJ@1033pm – your interpretation of the Emery/Harris/Royal interview is way off. Emery asked Harris if he ever grew commercially. Harris said no. Harris did say he grew 12 plants for his daughter. Characterizing an interview with a written statement as “orchestrated” shows your orchestrated attempts to misdirect others as to the content of the interview.
    Sheriff Royal admitted he did his best to narc on Harris to Scofield in an attempt to paint Harris as a big grower probably funded by MJ special interest lobbyists.
    Bessee, by all accounts, is a total rumor mongering NIMBY who will say, or do, just about anything to discredit anyone who disagrees with him on MJ issues.
    The Sheriff keeps bringing up some insidious MJ ‘dark money’ conspiracy theory about MJ funded Supervisor candidates in various counties in Colorado. Sounds like more scare tactics coming from our Sheriff’s department.
    What could also be true is that the citizenry in the counties in Colorado that our Sheriff is referring to simply elected pro MJ supervisors because that is what the majority of the People wanted. Maybe that means that they voted out those supervisors with whom they thought did not represent them fairly. Did that ever occur to anyone?

    According to today’s Union it was Dwayne Strawser. “Strawser said he wouldn’t comment on a private conversation.” Sounds like Royal was briefing not only the anti W District 2 supervisor/candidate but the anti W District 1 candidate as well. The good old boy system is alive and well.

    DonB@1041pm – I don’t know Harris’s address for a fact, but I found a Harris with an address near a school in Alta Sierra. I Google Earthed it and saw possible outlines of several plants or grow holes in the back yard (just like many other properties in our county). I took the hole closest to the school and, using the Earth ruler tool, drew a line from that hole to the centerline of the street that bordered the school. I got over 1200 feet.
    Do you have some other information you would like to share? Do I have the correct Harris?

    Duane Strawser told me and many others about Sheriff Royal bringing a picture into Nate Beason’s office of 200 MJ plants that he claimed were being grown by Richard Harris months before this issue became public. I agree Richard’s statement wasn’t totally clear, but he denied that he was a large commercial grower as Royal claimed and he then went on to clarify that he grew 12 plants last year for his daughter’s intractable medical condition on the advise of her doctor. (BTW, twelve plants is what is allowed in Measure W.)
    Sheriff Royal was clearly trying to discredit Richard with false information. How shameful to use a person’s medical condition to paint them as a drug dealer. Unfortunately, too many people know the truth. It’s OK to disagree on an issue, but it is not OK to misrepresent the facts to win at any cost. (at least not in my world)
    I also heard Richard say that he lives 3/4 mile from the school, not “across the street” as Bessee is still claiming. Bessee speaks with a forked tongue which i suppose is approriate all things considered. If Measure W passes, every neighbor in Alta Sierra will be allowed to grow 12 plants. Get used to it.

    I too am supporting Heidi. It is one of the few times in recent memory I am not voting AGAINST someone. Dwayne would be a decent sup, I simply think Heidi will be a better one. We need to break the good old boy echo chamber with some fresh blood and new ideas. Having a younger female on the board will provide diversity and perspective we haven’t seen in quite a while. Of course, some like it just the way it is and ever was.
