Gregory, Pelline is twice the man you are. But only in size. He cannot defeat you in any arguments as he is driven by hate and you are driven by logic. He and Frisch are the dregs and unfortunately liberals like them are around. Anyway, you have proven your smarts here and Pelline/Frisch have proven their maladies.

Todd, thanks for the kind words but I think the hyperbole is best toned down.

A day and a half without “Robert Cross” or “Jon” dropping in to share a bit of snark. Can we stand the silent treatment? 😉
It’s a shame they can’t take it with the aplomb with which they dish it up. Yes, gentlemen, you are akin to the illiterates who, because they can’t read, have to rely on others to read patient warnings on medicine packaging or the priest on Sunday for interpretations of the books they find holy. Personally, I don’t know how the unwashed can live without introductory holy books like Apostol Calculus or Halliday & Resnick Fundamentals of Physics, but that’s just me.
Yesterday I found a website with a teacher at a local charter school claiming physics is the study of energy but, that doesn’t quite touch the core and it’s just a bit scary that they actually teach a class called physics. From the wiki:“Physics (from Ancient Greek: φυσική (ἐπιστήμη) phusikḗ (epistḗmē) “knowledge of nature”, from φύσις phúsis “nature”) is the natural science that involves the study of matter and its motion through space and time, along with related concepts such as energy and force. One of the most fundamental scientific disciplines, the main goal of physics is to understand how the universe behaves”
“The main goal of physics is to understand how the universe behaves”. Damn, if that doesn’t encapsulate the subject. Now, Jeff and Steve, you spent years learning how to bullshit; try not to take it personally when you get called on it.

Now that the minority of malcontents supporting the State of Jefferson failed to get 3,840 valid signatures on a petition to force a vote on the issue, I hope we’ve heard the last of this nonsense.

GeorgeB 638pm – “minority of malcontents”, sounds like words from the good King George III’s mouth. Somehow, I think this “nonsense” will go on for as long as people remember what it was like to have their interests represented by their government.
However Mr Boardman, since apparently you are among the contented, I give you the joy of today’s California.LikeLike

The State of Jefferson, or How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love a One Party California.
While they were misguided, it’s essentially unfair to just dismiss The Jeffersonians (wasn’t that a sitcom?) as “malcontents”. It takes a willful blindness to be content with the state of the one party state, from the public pension bomb that will eventually blow up Sacramento to the bullet train to nowhere.
The good news for Republicans is that their DNA will not be on the corpse, once it stops moving.LikeLike

I have not supported the SOJ and preferred to return the Counties of the State to the old Senate per county which has as much chance as SOJ. But what it shows is discontent. When the people who benefit from a one party dictatorship speak I know they do for their personal well being and income.

Jon COAL is rising from your liberal crib:
Developing countries that already have a high share of renewable energy in their power mix are unlikely to grow this share further due to skyrocketing demand for cheap electricity, a report warns. The study by intergovernmental organisation the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) says that many developing countries made huge strides towards deploying renewable technologies over the past decade — but this rise is now levelling off. Instead, these countries are turning towards fossil fuels to meet the energy demands of their citizens, IRENA says. Renewables formed nearly 50 per cent of Indonesia’s energy mix in 2000, but this had dropped to under 40 per cent by 2013, the report found. China, India and Mexico have also seen their renewable share fall over this period. –Claudia Caruana, Sci Dev Net, 11 April 2016
It will return in the US also once the next great minimum brings unrelenting cold, making renewable unreliable energyLikeLike

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2016/04/11/if-trump-doesnt-understand-156-year-old-rules-how-will-understand-presidency.html
This article makes a very good case as to why Trump’s rhetoric does not match up with the facts. Trump plainly does not have the experience to get elected or be president.LikeLike

Trump is a result of a portion of people who are fed up with the status quo. We will see what the electorate wants. I personally am having a great time watching an listening to all the yapping this go around. Good fun!

It is easy for me to consider Trump knew the rules all along, that the rules in this case are the rules of a private organization and as such, are not cast in Constitutional stone.
Another day has passed without a “Cross” or a “Jon”, hoist with their own petars. I guess their fun got ruined,LikeLike

Apparently Trump’s kids don’t know the rules either. Two of them can’t vote for him in the primary because they didn’t register. Duh.

It’s still a tempest in a teapot and its BS to claim they ‘didn’t know the rules’. They knew the rule about voter registration and got bit by the deadline, and so the non-story gets the pundits’ panties into a knot for a news cycle.

The problem with trying to stop Trump is that the Establlishmnt and foreign entities are trying to stop the wishes of majority of voters who cast their ballots so far in the Republican primaries.

GeorgeB 316pm – An excellent question about which I don’t have to speculate Mr Boardman. As a matter of policy the NC Republican Party along with the NC Republican Women Federated will not endorse any specific candidate when multiple Republicans are running for the same seat, except when their memberships vote overwhelmingly – at least 75% – for a given candidate. This year State Senator Ted Gaines and Congressman Doug LaMalfa have both asked our NC organizations not to endorse any Republican candidates for the House and state legislature. In fact, Congressman LaMalfa made the same request of all the county Republican parties and affiliated organizations in his congressional district.

Whats’s really distressing lately is to see Mr. Winning, Donald Drumpf, whining and whining about the GOP and his delegates. The moron has virtually no staff to do political work in the states and he’s whining about everyday political dealings? Pathetic. Bizarre. Word is starting to spread that the Drumpf candidacy is really a publicity stunt, and its is finally being exposed. The guy doesn’t really want to win or actually be President.

“jon”, climate de4nier? No we are all about climate change being real. It changes every minute of every day. Heidi I am informed believes in chemtrails and the government using them to take out people. So I would say a fellow who takes a campaign check from someone who thinks the weather changes is a better bet than someone who thinks those white trails from jets in the air are a weapon.
My goodness “jon” you are sp ridiculous. The Union did not make a political statement on Strawser, you did on your blog.
Regarding Trump. On a politcal level he is rather naive. The Colorado issue does stink for the voters though and I think it is a strategy for the general election. But to call him a “moron” is over the top. He seems to have a few billion dollars and employes many people. I think you are jealous since you can only get so much growing on your land.LikeLike

Jon, Trump will be so presidential you won’t believe it.
(Breitbart ) During a town hall Sunday on Fox News Channel with GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump, Trump said that he will be “more presidential” and change his tone once he wins, but he said that does not mean he will not hit back harder if attacked first.
“Tone to me matters. Being presidential matters,” Trump told host Greta Van Susteren. “If somebody hits me, I have to hit them back. I have to. I’m not going to sit there and say, ‘I’m wonderful, I’m a president.’ I want to win. I will be so presidential you won’t believe it.”
Van Susteren asked him to expound on being “presidential.”
Trump responded, “It means maybe not be so aggressive, maybe not get so personal. But when people get personal with me, they say, oh, they don’t like my hair, okay? If I ever said I don’t like their hair it would be a headline. They’re allowed to say whatever they want to about me. My hair is not that bad is it? And it is my hair. But you know what happens? What happens is they hit me and I hit them back harder and, usually in all cases, they do it first. But they hit me and I hit them back harder and they disappear. That’s what we want to lead the country.”
He then added, “I will be so presidential, Greta, you will be so proud of me.”
It kind of sounds like he thinks it is just a big game called “playing President”.LikeLike

My blog?..whatever. A blogger from the far reaches Yuba County I guess..:)
Fact is that the Union piece was a shot to Strawser’s prior reputation for moderation and pragmatism. He’s so pragmatic he’s willing to take money from far right groups. Miscalculation of the highest order. To be tied to that Climate Denier is a bad thing in his District. Heidi’s in good shape. 🙂
Drumpf is either a moron, or intentionally trying to save face right now before he gets humiliated and ravaged at the convention, never intending to get that far in the first place. This whining allows him to play the victim card, the victim of that establishment..the same establishment that Ted Cruz is more than happy to work with now!
Not sure at this point, but the latter theory about Drumpf has a lot of merit.LikeLike

In the leaving as good friends category, a fine first step to being on the same page. If prodding and gentle coercing had not worked, then hit them in the pocketbook. Old method that still works like a charm. If you want the mula, ask for it in the giver’s native tongue. Otherwise go back to your Stone Age culture and praise your raping pedophile Prophet.
