   Well he broke the news cycle again . The incident between the protestor and Trump supporter as well as the reported manhandling of a reporter by someone on his staff were pretty much extinguished by the Carson press conference this morning. They might have otherwise dominated this weekends political hackery….now not so much.

    I think that Nate Silver sees a high probability of a Kasich win, although I doubt the fuss in Chicago has anything to do with it. You can make a reasonable case for the appearance of street soldiers on the left to push people into or out of the Trump camp. Shades of the Weimar KPD (a Godwin moment there, but remember, it’s Hitlers all the way down).
    I suppose the main value of a Kasich win to Trump is that he isn’t Cruz. Checking out Silver’s site, Trump has a pretty clear field even with the demise of the minor players like Carson, Rubio, ¡Jeb!, etc.
    If Trump gets the nod from voters, and makes it through the minefield of party elite machinations that are sure to follow, it should be an amazing general election. The ability of the political left to roll out a nearly infinite series of low level violent fandangos should make for some crazy TV and video. 1968 redux.

    The difference between a rut and a grave is just the dimensions and the difference between an insurrection and a rebellion is just the dimensions.
    They have opened up and are pulling out all the stops to Dump Trump. Not talking about Jonn Kasich. He can win on his own there no matter who is on the ballot. 63% approval and in-state, OH is a real red state. They only go blue in the general. A John victory means Trump might/will come up short in delegates. FL is not even a contest. Rubio is gone and John is hanging to see if he catches fire. You never know.
    The Chicago story is…..well,……that’s how they do things in the Windy City. Probably wasn’t a good idea to be adjacent to an U or allowing 4,000 demonstrators push inside before they started setting up security. Like Martin Luther King said, “I never saw so much hatred in my life until I went to Chicago.”
    From my perspective if Trump can survive the Battle Royale Barrage from every single busting at the seams with cash PACs under the sun opening up on Trump simultaneously and right now, then it means the people have spoken. After this temporary roadblock is cleared and Trump is bigger and more magnanimous than ever, then the only thing stopping us is Big Brother. Oh goody. I never excepted the powers that are to simply throw down their squirt guns and fly away. Nor did I except them (including the Clinton Machine) to go softly into the dark still night. Bring it on!! I feel good.
    Yo Jon, I am beginning to think you really don’t know if you will win The White House until you figure out who the R’s will send out into The Thunderdome. What, you have any doubts about the demographics guarantee you win? You sure are acting like it. Hey, don’t give Trump free rent in your head. Stop worrying. Ok, the nominee will be Trump, hands down. Far behind Hill and Sen. Sanders. So, why are you are worried?? Relax, you guys win.
    You are not thinking about switching over to the Dark Side and voting R are you? You sure act like it. Ok, I feel your pain. How, how are you ever going to pull off getting Hillary or Bernie into The Oval Office? Or, is it you don’t know? 🙂

    Well, the fireworks have not even started. Now we find out that a reason the Windy City U of Illinois rally ended prematurely is that scuffles were breaking out on the floor before everyone was even seated. Then afterwards there were more shuffles in the streets while the victorious students were basking in their conquests. But, the press called them fights breaking out all over outside into the late night unto the streets instead of “scuffles”. Must be the 78 year old cracker Nazi effect. You did not think we would go softly into the night did you?? 🙂
    So confusing this election. Who to choose, oh who to choose??????

    “Jon”, I can truthfully say I’ve never been arrested and never have seen a jail cell from the inside, and since all the recent posters here know my full name and locale, that’s relatively easy to confirm.
    Since you could be someone like Steven Frisch of the Sierra Business Council who is known to have been tossed into jail at least once in Nevada County, you could be lying both when you say you aren’t Steven and when you say you’ve been in jail as much as I have. Frisch also once committed a tax fraud but it appears he dodged that one by grabbing both ankles and settling with the IRS.

    As the Mail reports, the infamous town of Östersund which is now a no-go zone for women after eight, has seen a surge in sex attacks in just the past three weeks. The most troubling recent examples:
    February 20: Two ten-year-old girls were groped by a group of adult men. Police say the men surrounded the girls at a bus station and started to touch them while threatening to rape them. Adults saw what was happening and intervened before the men escaped.
    February 21: A women was walking alone at midnight in the town centre when a man passing by made sexual remark. The woman responded by calling him an ‘idiot’. He punched her, splitting her eyebrow and threatened to kill her. He was interrupted by passers-by and fled.
    February 26: A women walking to work near the university was attacked by three men, beaten and pushed to the ground. They held her down and forced their fingers into her mouth while saying offensive, sexual words to her. Taleb Moafagh, 22, was arrested over the incident.
    February 27: Police saw men surround a group of women and grope them outside a nightclub. When police tried to intervene, a drunken brawl broke out between men coming out of the club and the sex attackers fled.
    March 2: Two women walking home from a bar were stopped by a group of men who told them: ‘Girls should not be out at this time of the night’ – before pushing them into a corner and groping them, then wandered off, laughing.
    March 5: A woman walking by herself was threatened by a man in passing car, who screamed at her he would get his friends to ‘rape and murder’ her. When she ran off, he chased her but she managed to get to her apartment before he reached her.
    March 6: A women walking home alone was whistled at by a man. When she told him to stop, he hit her in the head with his fist. She fell down and he punched her a second time, pushed her head into the snow and screamed at her he would rape and kill her before fleeing.
    March 6: The same day another woman was walking home from a restaurant was attacked by three men. She was hit in the stomach by two of the men and shoved to the ground. A third man began undoing her trousers, but she managed to hit him in the head with her elbow. He started bleeding and fled. She later told police she was trained in martial arts – a skill police say saved her from being raped.
    For their part, the police in Östersund (with a population of 45,000) say they have never seen anything like this before.
    Stephen Jerand, the county police commissioner, admitted police in the town are struggling to cope – adding that the surge in attacks “seem unreal.” He said that ‘we called the press meeting this Monday because we have seen an accelerating development here.

    If didn’t know better, I would be inclined to believe that Jon is here solely to dispute our discussion. Alimony, jail? Come on Jon, we are all Log Cabin Republicans now. Why can’t you just get along with your other personality? Get a grip, man. Or at lease quit referring to yourself as “we” like you used to do. Thought I broke you and His Dishonorable Discharge of that annoying habit. Defend Steve to you last breath, but quit using “we” and going off on alimony or whatever bug you got crawling up your collective hemmoroid zone this lovely day.
    And answer a question or two for once. What is your plan to get Hillary in the White House. Taking down Trump rallies? Sure, that is a nice start, but let’s talk about how the American voter is going to choose Hillary. Bernie will be crushed by the Dem Party Machine, not us crackers, so no Bernie after July. Senator Sanders was never a real Democrat Party member anyway. Again, what is your plan or confidence that it will be My Gal as the last one standing on Nov 9, 2016?
