   Very interesting Jon, just as I predicted before today. Do you why people like Trump?? Easy. Cause he is not afraid of the PC police, which never bother to discuss what he said instead of the more important “how he said it” mantra. Look, we get put down for being bigots and uncouth for nonchalantly saying “fingers on the blackboard” instead of the PC “on the chalkboard”. We have been told what we think is wrong, what we do is wrong, what we enjoy is wrong, and all what our lower companion friends and family do for recreation is wrong.
   We…er….most of our politicians on my side of the aisle foolishly live in fear of violating some tennat of totalitarian thought control and get branded as equal if not worse than some “can do no wrong, it’s not his fault” homicidal maniac psychopath from the Stone Age. Fear that we might say the wrong thing or that your side will not like us.
   Yes, Jon, you where correct to describe us as righties living in fear. We have had to couch our words carefully to not be misunderstood, but you saw right through that and knew what we really meant. We were grossly obtuse when we said All Lives Matter because in reality we hate everybody that did not originate from the “good part” of Europe, wink, wink. We were scared to look at the sky because we were told we should be ashamed and, through fear, we let shame or the fear of being disliked and being shamed shame us into keeping our mouths shut. We were told we cannot believe our eyes. Yes, fear controlled us. Well put Jon.
   But, Jon, that fear has been redirected as anger. Yes, I am an angry person. And angry people do no longer care about being PC, no longer care about going along with liberals to get along, and frankly no longer care what you think of us. Our anger nullifies any suicide pact we past agreed to in our fearful desire for you to accept us more than the adopted bastard red headed lost (but very dangerous) souls that we are. A lower life form than you, but possessing souls nonetheless.
   Our fear has been supplanted by anger and that anger is freeing us from the Control Freaks. Control freaks are controlled by the need to control. You can’t help yourself, but we ain’t playing your game anymore. We are more angry than a homeless person who just got ripped off of his last 35 cents.

    There was a gun I wanted to buy over in Reno. NO DICE! for one, I was a Ca. Resident, and two, it wan’t Ca. compliant.(they checked)
    BUT if it was Ca. legal, they would have sent it to a local FFL shop. I would then pay that local shop a handling fee. (35 to 50 bucks, plus shipping) Go through the state paperwork all over again (after dealing with Nevada’s) then the (found to be)Unconstitutional 10 day wait. So,, so much for the crap Moonbeam said about getting guns easy “next door”.

    Local lefty blogger is promoting the Paris Climate Change Agreement. In reality it is a non-binding and toothless, regardless of all the environmentalist back slapping about Obama’s legacy. It is a lame toothless legacy, that will tarnish Obama’s historical reputation, as the poor people of the rich nations will end up making the rich in poor nations richer, for no change in the earth’s temperature.

    “The Paris agreement is another acknowledgement of international reality. The deal is further proof, if any was needed, that the developing world will not agree to any legally binding caps, never mind reductions of their CO2 emissions.”

    If you find yourself indoors at 2:30PM Pacific today rather than outside in the rain, I suggest streaming Harvard’s 106th annual Christmas Carol Service “that includes readings by the clergy and a mix of traditional and contemporary carols and hymns sung by both the choir and congregation” from Harvard’s Memorial Church, featuring the oldest collegiate choir in the USA and the only professional choir on campus, the Harvard University Choir. On Sunday mornings throughout the school year the uchoir supports the service but for this one, the choir is the focus.
    More agnostic and atheistic friendly than most services as the readings are not the main act… stream it from whrb.org, is said by the Memorial Church to start at 2PM but the station has it listed starting at 2:30.
    Few of you will be surprised to hear there is a NUHS graduate in the choir.

And by proxy the President of the United States, “At some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries.” Wrong!
    It is easy to tout the success of gun control laws in the rest of the Western world and to say that “this just doesn’t happen in other countries” when you ignore : the 1996 massacre of 16 children at a Scottish primary school; the 2000 killing of eight kids in Japan; the 2002 deaths of eight people in Nanterre, France; the 2002 killing of 16 kids in Erfurt, Germany; the 2007 shootings to death of eight people in Tuusula, Finland; the killing of 10 people at a Finnish university less than a year later; the 2009 killing of 15 people in Winnenden, Germany; and, needless to say, Anders Breivik’s 2011 mass murder of 77 Norwegians, most of them teenagers.
    I will bet the Purple Shadow will not be cutting and pasting this on the Sierra Foothills Report. The Interent is changing how we communicate.

    In a very real way, having Obama as our first Afro-Arab-Ametican has done all black citizens of the US a disservice. Things would have worked out better for our nation, our black communities, race relations, national security, transparency in government, rule of law, and the economy IF our first Black President was someone other than Barrack Hussein Obama. I want a good President in the Oval Office, whether that person be the first Female President, the First Black President, the first Asian or Latino, or the usual Caucasian. .
