[The tragedies of Paris are many, and the immediate loss of life in that city may well be the least of them.  As readers know, through the years while countering great leftwing vilification, RR has heralded the Islam's scripturally commissioned invasion through colonization (Hijra).  The globalists now are using the raghead attacks in Europe to illustrate the reasons why Syrians and other mideasterners and Africans are fleeing their home countries, and that we in the west should welcome these people into our lands to establish beacheads for their kith and kin, and ultimately their horrific cultures.  To better understand the institutional and organizational details of what really is happening, please take time to watch these two short videos (here and here).  gjr]

RLCrabb 709am – Still you persist. Bob, this entire blog is a paean of gratitude to the America that not only allowed but invited people like the Rebanes to immigrate, settle, assimilate, and become indistinguishable Americans (see ‘My Story’ essays). For those readers who care to remember, I have detailed the threat (of forced ‘repatriation’ and death) we eastern Europeans in displaced persons camps lived under until 1948. It was only the America of yore that saved us, and, sadly, that America has been undergoing a fundamental transformation for the last several decades. Moreover, half of the country firmly believes that the promised transformation has accelerated during these last years.
I am a bit saddened that you were not able to follow or address my original question, and instead changed the subject to an attack on me and my past. Other readers (e.g. Gregory’s 808am, Kesti’s 816am) seem to have discerned the topic I introduced in my 554pm response to Mr Tozer’s 540pm. In my service to America, my loyalty and devotion to our country and its fundamental tenets have been vetted by institutions far surpassing the kangaroo courts of our local leftwing loonies, and beyond anything you and yours can conceive.
And I take great exception to your “every other conspiracy theory” that you’ve “heard on this blog”. Assuming that you also know the definition of ‘conspiracy’, I am not aware of any conspiracy theories that have been promoted on RR. Would you care to expand?
PS. Still don’t know what set you off????

All “journalists” get their “badge” for screwing over anyone and everyone. A lonely life I suppose. I recall the CNN dude in Baghdad screwing over America in the first Gulf War. What a guy!

Maybe this Syrian refugee thang set Mr. Crabb off. He was singing a different tune when those crazy French cartoonists got sent to the big barrel of ink in the sky. So far, not one single Christian Syria is among the first 193 Syrian refugees that have been UN vetted. All Muslim. It’s not fair!!
Look at progressive Canada. They will no longer accept single males of soldiering age (must be families) and have 3 of their own agencies doing the vetting on the ground in Turkey and Lebanon. They said screw the UN vetting, we will do it ourselves, thank you. The Canadain government says “let’s not rush here. Sure, we will take in Syrian economic refugees in, but need more time to get it right.” Patience my dear Crabbman, patience.

Sweden sent orders out to deport many thousands of those Arabs in their country. Now they say they find them! So maybe the Swedes need to use racial profiling? Swedes are really really light skinned. LOL!

Yep, and Nicagura is sending troops to keep the Cubans from migrating north from Costa Rica into their country in route to the USA. What, Serbis and a bunch of countries are straining razor wire to keep the Muslims out and even Italy uses gunboats to keep the Albainians out. The Trump Effect. Seems to me that walls and fences and armed soldiers work pretty good as a solution. Of course, we here would not know cause our walls are designed for the safety of anchor babies. Opps, Trigger Warning: the term Anchor Babies” makes some feel uncomfortable and saddens the libs.
Build it and they won’t come, lol. Necessity is the mother of invention.

I don’t have any problem with expunging terrorists, Billy boy, but I don’t blame a billion or so Muslims for the crime. And George, I only point out the similarities between your flight from oppression and those you deem unworthy.
And conspiracy theories? I seem to recall no resolution hereabouts to the birth certificate forgery conspiracy, for one.
And Todd, I’m only following your example. If you can’t be relevant, at least be annoying.

rlcrabb 1057am – Bob, I notice that you did not answer my 933pm, which would explain what you mean by the “similarities between (my) flight from oppression and those you deem unworthy.”
Without such a clarification it is clear to any reader that you do indeed condone illegal entry into America, and then would subsequently reward these illegal aliens with government benefits which are denied native born felons who are fugitives from the law. If so, then yes, my 933pm is consistent with the Rebane Doctrine I have espoused here for the last eight years, and which is shared across this land by over at least 100 million other Americans. That you apparently are not among them saddens me.
And using the postings and comments here on the ‘birther’ debate as the poster child for your claimed multiple conspiracy theories advanced here will not wash. RR has done nothing more than report on the pro/con evidence regarding an issue that has received nationwide notoriety. You will have to go elsewhere to find the source of doubt, the presented evidence, and ample writings about our president’s birth documents. It is not the job of RR to “resolve” the birther issue; it has already been resolved by the various camps more influential than this insignificant collection of commentaries and comments.
But your denigrating the discussion of the issue in these pages speaks volumes. It is apparently on the list of politically incorrect ‘no-no’ items (as is the illegal alien benefits issue sidestepped here). And I do understand that and why people of the Left have to attack those who turn over rocks that are not to be touched.

Mr. Crabb. I figured that is what has been pissing folks off, including you. Let me guess. It is painting ALL Islamics with that big double wide brush as being….well,…as being soldiers of an Islamic State, politically, socially, legally, religiously, economically, and a few terrorists mixed in there that just because they like to bust up thing for licks.
Yep, Bush took pains to say “it’s not all Muslims, just a few of your people”, in a more Presidential way than that. In factomentry, one of the first things W did after 9/11 on 9/12 or 13th was to got to a mosque and stated clearly ” we do not paint you American Muslims or all Muslims with a broad brush….” Speech. O does the same. I get it. They are trying not to inflame passions, but it’s friggin too late. 🙂
Bottom line is wait it out. This will pass like everything in life. Heck, can you even list all the names of schools where some homicidal murderer shot the place up off the top of yer mellon after a few months? Out of sight, out of mind. No worries. Soon, this latest humanitarian crisis soon won’t even make the news. That’s when they will open the gates as nobody is watching. Just like that Honduran/Guatemala unaccompanied minor thang. Still happening, nobody interested. Patience. Your moment will come and they all be Islamics, everyone of them. Just hope a handful of ragheads don’t slip through. Just 8 did a lot of carnage in Paris. The old humanitarian vs security fight.

I think there is a world of difference Crabby. GeorgeR’s family assimilated and served the military. He did not arrive here illegally. He contributed to the overall spectre of western life. His religion is similar to ours. He did not say “off with their heads” when asked. 25% of our American Muslims answered a poll a couple of years ago that said they favored Jihad against their “fellow” countrymen. I have yet to see that from a Estonian or a Lithuanian.
I think bleeding hearts will actually be bleeding as the terrorists don’t care that you have one for them. Useful idiots think they can dictate “fairness” with a head chopper. Ask those poor Egyptians whose heads were severed in Libya if they were asking for it.
I suggest you are no different in your disgust for your fellow Americans as we are with the head choppers. I feel sorry for you.

RL, all Moslems are not to blame, and NO ONE is suggesting they are.
You might remember a whole bunch of Fanny and Freddie securitized mortgage paper that sent the entire US financial system into a near fatal monetary constipation… because the good paper was so mixed up with bad paper it couldn’t easily be separated.
If You want to draw parallels, there’s a place to start. In the meantime, your inept vs insane theme is contiuing to lead you to idiocratic conclusions. Opening up all 50 states to refugees with active fighting and Beheadingpalloozas in process is as loony as allowing German and Japanese refugees (including single men who look fit for military service) before their capitulations.. which would never have happened. I guess FDR, Truman and Eisenhower were more sane than the current leadership.

And remember the Rooskies? They murdered millions and replaced them with ethnic Rooskies in the “provinces” . Maybe GeorgeR could elaborate on that “ethnic cleansings”

ToddJ 338pm – You nailed that one. The USSR transplanted ethnic Russians into all the lands they conquered and decimated. (Estonia today retains 25% of its populations as Russians beholden to Moscow.) That is the excuse Putin will use to send his forces into any of his ‘near abroad’ neighbors, to assure the safety of its ethnic Russian population.

It’s always fun to stir the steaming cauldron here at RR and watch the foam fly. Apparently I have to spell out every nuance in detail to be understood, so where to start? Lets go with the Syrian refugee situation: They are the currently downtrodden you deem unacceptable for consideration for entry onto these shores. I never said one word about illegals, and it seemed obvious that you would ‘get” that. I share your desire to filter out the possible angry young males, and increasing the scrutiny for new arrivals is most appropriate. It’s the blind one-size-fits-all rejection of any age and gender that I find objectionable. It plays well with the sheepies in the frenzy of an election year, as the polls show, but I wouldn’t have wanted that attitude to prevail during your flight from oppression. I likewise would hope that the Syrian unfortunates be given an equal to prove their worth.(Remember that Steve Jobs’ pappy was a Syrian.)
As for the apples and oranges comparison with mortgage loans, I can only counter that even a village idiot like me could see that semi barreling down the highway. I looked into it and roundly rejected any possibility of obtaining those tainted funds. Those that fell into the trap were blinded by the appearance of getting something for nothing. I believe that vetting 10K refugees wouldn’t compare with millions of bad loans.

One the refugee situation, Ca. is getting the most. That would explain the Delta Airlines flight into Beale the other day that originated from the East coast. Think all those folks were vetted properly?
No wonder the powers that be are pushing “low income housing” here in PV. Gotta put them somewhere.

rlcrabb 344pm – You may (or not) recall that this entire thread was about the illegals, those suing Oregon for their rights. Silly me, I took your lecturing me about the ‘similarities’ as being part and parcel of the subject.
I return the favor of your ‘nuances’ in reminding you that nowhere did I “deem (Syrians) unacceptable for consideration for entry onto these shores.” Since they (Syrians et al) they are economic migrants and are no longer fleeing for their lives, their application for immigration should be ‘considered for entry’ in accord to our existing immigration policy. In short, I do advocate “the blind one-size-fits-all (immigration process for) any age and gender”. Congress is free to make exceptions and alter that policy in any way they see fit. Did you have other plans for them, and if so, why?
However, I am heartened that we do seem to have similar thoughts regarding letting potential terrorists into America. But then, I may be too optimistic.

That’s a bit of a stretch; saying that the Syrian refugees are no longer fleeing for their lives since they are no longer within the theater of combat, and so are now to be considered “economic” migrants. By that definition, there are no war-torn refugees except those who are extracted from the immediate area of conflict.
    Preposterous.

Chris 1059am – No stretch at all, and that comes from an economic refugee who was no longer in the theater of combat at the time of our immigration according to the law of the land at the time. It is only those “extracted” or just escaped from a threat to their lives who should receive special consideration as immigrants. Were we to open that door to everyone who at one time or another was escaping the direct effects of tyranny, then that would open up a Pandora’s box of who and when does fleeing for your life transition into being in an economically inconvenient situation.
Oh wait; our progressive elites have already opened that box haven’t they? And that allows you and Jon to apply that liberal logic with the conclusion of “preposterous”. FYI Jon, by your lights then, the whole country used to be far right before you folks arrived to enlighten us.
