[Am happy to see how RR readers use the sandboxes and how quickly they fill up with topics and tete a tetes that are beyond my meager abilities to cover and coherently comment on. As an amusing aside, received an email about our celebrated cartoonist RL Crabb who for years has apparently been delinquent in not recognizing and thanking a generous and kind benefactor who 'saved his bacon' at the Union. Shame on you Bob.]

So Walt should Christie resign from New Jersey over Bridgegate ? So in your view all the Libs need to do is raise a fuss , do some FOI’s, create a little controversy a lawsuit or two and the Repub should respond by quitting their elected position saying it’s best for the public interest they resign. What a great idea for the Dems.

Maybe Hitler was closer than believed to a working nuke. It seems we will have to wait for more on this find, since PERMITS (gotta love those things) are holding up the finds.
Seems others, even today (from what little I have found on this news) really didn’t want this found in the first place.
I love these places that have been found, sealed off from time. Maybe some real history can see the light of day.LikeLike

Paul Emery 31Dec14 01:41 PM
Come on, Paul. Palin’s and Christie’s brouhahas are hardly identical and there is no reason to think that they should lead to identical outcomes.
And this time it not Walt’s view. It was yours.LikeLike
-
DAMN PAUL!!,, Get your hat handed to ya’,, and change the subject! LOL!!
You mean “Bridgegate”? And nothing can be tied to Christie. Now if only the same effort had been put into investigating the IRS scandal ( which has now reached the W.H. doors)
by ” get to the bottom of it” LIBS. Nixon was driven out for less.
Nope,, not a smidgen of corruption by LIBS.. Who live by these words ” If there is NO evidence to support our claims that your dirty, some will be manufactured FOR you, and will be fed to LIB media to smear you with.”
Here is another reminder Paul,, LIBS have lost the last three elections. If they saved one seat, they claimed “VICTORY!”
Hear “O” on NPR? and about his VETO pen? Dirty Harry was his living VETO pen. But loved to claim the problem was the Right.
Now you will see just who is the real party of NO is. “O” will have writers cramp.
He will need an MRI (at our expense) of his left hand ( like the one he had for a sore throat.)LikeLike

Walt
You miss the point of my reference to Christie. Pslin, you say was justified in resigning die to the impact on her job by the smear campaign waged by the left. Correct me if I characterized that incorrectly. My question is why shouldn’t Christie also resign for the same reasons. If not what is different about Christie?LikeLike
-
I think Christie was exonerated by the numerous DEMOCRAT investigations into the bridge BS> He even fired those responsible but even those facts elude Paul Emery’s utter hate for R’s.
A Christie/Palin ticket or reversed would be a good one.LikeLike
-
But Todd Christie went through that process but Palin wouldn’t and quit instead. Why was she justified in resigning rather than letting the process unfold if she was innocent of all accusations?

Did she run for governor or indentured servant?
Again Paul you routinely make the argument that there’s no difference in either party or those that inhabit them (a position I agree with)….why so insistent on seeing Palin serve the whole term?LikeLike

Fish
There are those who say Palin was justified in resigning rather than take the heat which is part of the job description of an ambitious public servant. In my view that’s a rather bizarre point of view that intrigues me no end. Just something to talk about.LikeLike

Well Paul Emery, why don’t you do your job and go ask her? I seem to recall her being ruthlessly bashed as well as her kids and hubby by you and your ilk when McCain picked her. If you like McCain and his positions so well why were you so nasty to her as a VP candidate? I say it is misogyny. You hate strong women, especually conservatives. Also, it seems to me your brethren moved in next door to her so he could watch her and her children undress and write a book. You libs have thoroughly lost your “journalistic” credibility by the American people. I see why now.

Speaking of “traffic”,,,, Paul,,,
“JUNEAU, Alaska — A federal judge has formally dismissed an activist’s lawsuit against former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
Last week, U.S. District Judge Timothy Burgess struck down claims brought by activist Chip Thoma, who alleged that Palin acted to silence him for complaining about traffic around the governor’s mansion in 2009.
Thoma had sought at least $100,000 in the case. But Burgess said Thoma did not provide the necessary evidence to support his claims.
In a judgment filed Tuesday, Burgess dismissed the case, saying Thoma will recover nothing, and Palin will recover costs from Thoma.
It wasn’t immediately clear what those costs would total. A private attorney and an attorney for the state were involved in the case on Palin’s behalf.”
1. July 28, 2008: Alaska lawmakers launched an investigation into whether Gov. Sarah Palin abused her power when she fired Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan over his refusal to let go a state trooper involved in a contentious divorce with Palin’s sister. Stephen Branchflower, a special counsel leading the investigation, concluded Oct. 10 that Palin violated a state ethics law that prohibits public officials from using their office for personal gain. The firing itself was deemed lawful since Monegan was an at-will employee.
2. Aug. 6, 2008: Complaint filed by outspoken Palin critic Andree McLeod of Anchorage contended Palin and some staff members used their influence to get a Palin supporter a job in state government. Complaint alleged Palin staffers helped Tom Lamal, who once co-hosted a Palin fundraiser, to get a job as a surveyor. Dismissed by state personnel board, although the board’s investigator recommended ethics training for one staffer who made questionable comments in e-mails.
3. Aug. 20, 2008: Complaint accused Palin of breaking election law by taking a public position on a mining ballot initiative days before the vote. Filed by Brian Kraft, founder of the Bristol Bay Alliance, a group that opposed the Pebble Mine prospect. Rejected May 8 by the Alaska Public Offices Commission.”
“after Gov. Palin returned from the 2008 campaign. Linda Kellen Biegel, the official Democratic National Committee Blogger in Alaska, Shannyn Moore, Andree McLeod, and Zane Henning were behind the storm of frivolous complaints and suits which were all dismissed.”
This little bit is all the likes of Paul latch their dentures into.
“The non-stop bombardment led to Gov. Palin’s decision to resign her office. When the false charges were lodged, they were front page news. When they were dismissed, it was buried if it was reported at all. Today, Gov. Palin is reviled as a “quitter” among those who conveniently point to her resignation but say nothing about the circumstances that led up to it.”
You DO REALIZE that all that suing costs time and money? You sure bitch about money in other “discussions” ..
If you were bombarded with crap at KVMR,, I’m sure there would be a breaking point for you or the guy who runs the place. Sooner or later someone would say “enough is enough.
”
There would be no amount of Irish booze or MMJ to make it “go way”.LikeLike

Don’t forget,,, The losing LIBS are cleaning out their desks as I speak. Yup,
Today is the last day for Dirty Harry in his corner office. He is probably sitting there at this vary moment enjoying one last view. Yup,, this is moving day.. And more than plenty right out of D.C.
Nope… Not a good day to be a LIB in Washington. Let the funeral procession commence.LikeLike

Does anyone recall what happened to the loudly proclaimed and much celebrated death of the Republican Party, much of it even on these pages? The best answer I can figure out is Barack Hussein Obama – both celebrations appear headed for the notorious dustbin of history.
On other matters, I must admit some enjoyable puzzlement in following the above Palin/Christie debate. Has anyone bothered to ask ‘to what end?’? For possible answers posit that one side is right and see how that would affect the price of Tsingtao. Then repeat with the other side assumed to have won.LikeLike

Just one of Paul’s classic ” Look over here!” He’s just trying to warm up the 2016 fun and games.
So which is your gal Paul? ” I bumped my head, , What diff. does it make” Clinton? or ” She who lies through teeth” Dizzy Izzy Warren?
As for Clinton,, that ” businesses don’t create jobs” will come back to bite.
Izzy still has to explain her goody’s for “family lore” and knowingly checking boxes on forms that didn’t apply to her.
Think I can play the “family lore” card? It’s said I have American Indian blood as well.
Where is my Indian casino dividend check? I have an Indian grinding bowl that’s been passed down through the generations as proof.
If a LIB can play that game to become a LIB collage professor, why not a Conservative construction worker? Now where do I sign to get my new Calif. compliant heavy equipment
to start my ” Minority owned” business? ( all at taxpayer expense of course)
I want that preferential treatment… I’m OWED it ( by LIB rules)LikeLike

To want end? Tweak Paul when Pailin has a success! We are still smarting over his very personal attack on a lady we admire.
Pailin is developing a team of conservative winners, and that is not good for liberals across the nation. She is winning and Paul and his liberal friends are losing. What a great years.LikeLike

Paul sure clammed up all of a sudden. That’s what happens when he picks a battle he no chance of winning. WAY TOOO many facts. No matter how much Progressive media mining
he tries.
Kind of like the ol’ hound dog that get’s sprayed by a skunk. Yelps and rolles around in the dirt,, then comes back for more. ( They never learn) Maybe Paul just hasn’t noticed my white stripe yet.LikeLike

“Paul sure clammed up all of a sudden.”
I suspect that he simply went to work. Paul practices a form of cat herding known as producing/promoting and New Year’s Eve is therefore a working night for him. Regardless of what anybody thinks of his politics and debate, I can assure you that his producing and promoting is first class. That he had any time to spend commenting this afternoon suggests that he did his job very well this time!LikeLike

What brand of “cat nip” does he use? Then again,, it IS Nevada City.
Now to crack open a well aged bottle of good ol’ American sour mash My Son sent me from
