Thanks Doc. for the fresh load of sand. ( The last one sure got ripe )
Now to spread it out a little and draw a new line. ( Get it??? LINE in the sand???)
The GOP over in da’ South sure turned feral LIB. ( as far as dirty election go)
Vote buying, all out lies, and piss poor ethics. All to retain power and to trash the Tea Party.
The voter fraud looks worse than the Nixon/Kennedy crap.
This is why the GOP is looking like LIB lite.LikeLike

Now, I will put this in the sandbox solely because I have not sourced it with multiple other places. IF there is more than a grain of truth to it, then all I can say is I hope y’all are driving not flying to your 4th of July getaways.

All of us gray beards and bald heads are about to get some company in California.
The state Department of Finance’s demographers have projected that California’s over-65 population, 4.2 million in 2010, will rise to more than 6 million by 2020 and double to 8.4 million by 2030. And with the elder population growing much more rapidly than the state as a whole, it would rise from 11.4 percent of Californians in 2010 to nearly 19 percent in 2030.LikeLike

“Now for some lean red meat for Stevie. Seems the Bundy supporters have ICE in their sites. Just this time it’s the buses full of illegals about to be set loose on our streets.

The citizens just won’t stand for it. Is this more vigilantism Steve?
Those buses should be greeted with open arms…. Right?”

Now lets see if I have this right, it is cool to do this with children? Some set of values you all have.
That is not the American values I know and love.
Why don’t you guys target your legislators and demand that they reform the immigration system? Oh, I know why not, because it would mean you might have to compromise something to reach an agreement, which is why you Yahoos torpedoed the Bush II immigration reform initiative.
Once we had a Republic that knew how to get things done. Now we have a frozen Republic that shirks its responsibilities.
It all comes down to one thing, you are not Patriots you are anti-Americans.
George, why do I consider this forum comedy? Because it is a continuos chant of “Get off my grass.” The dustbin of history will welcome you with open arms.LikeLike

The dustbin of history will welcome us all Steve. What are you willing to give or give up to get comprehensive immigration reform?LikeLike

OHhh nice try there Steve,, ” target your legislators and demand that they reform the immigration system”. Where in Hell have you been? “O” and his pen
do otherwise. He has pretty much stopped deportations. ( against the rule of law)
HE invited this “invasion”. How many laws have been passed to seal the boarder? ( Plenty) yet any fence building gets stopped.
So just HOW is demanding illegal immigration be stopped, “un-American?”
We HAVE legal immigration policies and rules.( again.. nice try)
I say drive those buses loaded with illegals onto C5-A’s and fly them back to their counties of origin. Bus’s and all.
We give PLENTY of aid money to those places, “to make things better”. What gives?LikeLike

re stevenfrisch 757am – this response was to my 738pm in the 29jun14 sandbox stating “Mr Frisch, your declaration of utter disdain for anything on RR has me at a disadvantage. If that is all that you have for me and my readers, is there any reason that we should take anything you say seriously? I must admit, I have taken you seriously in the past and attempted to give you a serious reply. Now I find that you have been toying with me. Perhaps I and other readers can learn from that, and in the future take you at your word. Thank you for the clarification.”
The careful reader will note that nowhere was I puzzled nor asked ‘why’ Mr Frisch feels his disdain. That he repeatedly reads(?) only the words that he needs to assign to the writer in order to fit the details of his argument, makes discussion nigh impossible because the man never understood your point in the first place. Nevertheless, the more resilient souls hereabouts continue to persevere, perhaps resigned that such an exchange will lead nowhere. Then again, as he has admitted, he is participating in a farce with farcical arguments. That would explain much of what we have seen.LikeLike

I will make this easy for Steve.

” Free homeless camping at my house. Use my shower, dig through my fridg.,

Whatda’ think Steve? Turning them down would be ” un-American”LikeLike

I have been saying for years that Steve Frisch should only been taken as a comedy foil. He runs his whole life and “business” as a comedy. One only needs to read the farcical SBC website to see he and his crew are socialists and pawns of the leftwingnut factions of our country. So, that is why I gave up moons ago trying to engage him and his minions in any serious discussions. Oops, darn, another Frisch seeks an exit. Be back soon! LOL!

The Sierra Business Council represents the Sierra Nevada Counties at the California Economic Summit. I am troubled by Mr. Frisch’s failure to listen to and engage in rational economic discussion on this blog. There are many conservative points of view that should be considered by Mr Frisch who claims to represent all of us at Regional Economic Development Conferences.
This is from the California Economic Summit Web site:
SIERRA NEVADA
Regional Partners: Sierra Business Council
Sierra Business Council (SBC) is a member-based organization of over 700 individuals and businesses committed to pioneering innovative solutions in the Sierra Nevada. Founded in 1994, weare the Sierra Nevada’s sustainability organization and we continue to demonstrate that vibrant communities, fair and prosperous economies, and healthy thriving ecosystems are not competing interests.
Counties represented: Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, El Dorado, Fresno, Kern, Lassen, Madera, Mariposa, Modoc, Mono, Nevada, Placer, Shasta, Sierra, Tehama, Tulare, Plumas, Inyo, Tuolumne, Yuba
<a href="http://www.caeconomy.org/region/sierra-nevada“>http://www.caeconomy.org/region/sierra-nevada
Based on Mr Frisch views presented on this blog, do you feel secure that he is representing the conservative communities in the Sierra Region? I personally have some serious doubts we are being fairly represented by the SBC. Do our Supervisors know that he is our representative at these regional economic conferences? How about the ERC, do they know that the SBC is representing their economic interests? Did you know?LikeLike

http://news.msn.com/us/us-poll-more-voters-see-obama-as-worst-president-in-modern-times
It’s a dismal day for the Democrats when even the true followers (and the media) have begun to see the light. What could possibly be more disheartening for our “pen-and-phone” leader than to be deemed less competent than George Bush Jr., even with BJ’s well-documented distorted machinations behind entering Iraq.
The most gleaming light at the end of the tunnel can be found in the poll-takers’ negative sentiments towards 4 key indicators of Obama’s performance: : the economy, foreign policy, healthcare and terrorism. Apparently, millenials have finally begun to determine that Euro-Socialist economic policies and a weak-kneed approach to foreign policy do not create beneficial opportunities for the budding generation. For further proof of this, look no further than France, where the younger generation is crippled by a consistent unemployment rate that exceeds 20%. Similar figures are present in other EU nations, whom have begun to embrace traditional conservative values in their most recent election cycles, in hopes of returning back to the days past of economic prosperity.
I am hopeful for the future, maybe grandpa’s stories of a great society in which self-reliance and ethical business practices led to opportunities for all to benefit, both socially and economically. The chance is still there, if the younger generation can awaken from its slumber and remove the poisonous Democratic-Party Kool-Aid IV and return to the core values that made this country the envy of every living soul.
However, should the torch be passed to Hillary, the final nail will be put in the coffin.LikeLike

KeenO 1038am – Look no further than on our own shores. NPR reported this morning that, pursuant to Obama’s stimulating recovery, America’s youth (18-25) unemployment rate is still somewhere between 17-20%, depending on the metric used.

Fish, my aqua-based friend, let us agree to disagree. Should Hillary take the reigns, both herself and her minions will begin implementing a strategy to seal more votes from illegal (by them amnesty will be secured) aliens. I.E. free healthcare to low income, bigger incentives for low income housing, tax breaks for “needy families,” etc.. At that point, Republicans of all flavors will be branded as the boogeymen that will stop putting slop in the trough, a progressive trough in which more pigs of all races and socioeconomic backgrounds continue to show up for feeding.
This of course will continue until those holding US debt slow down the flow on the spigot, and suddenly the checks from the treasury departments start arriving late, both to private industry and the citizens. You can only fool a fool for so long, even the most uninformed voter will then see the lipstick on the pig.LikeLike

As much as I distrust the republicans they’re probably too chickenshit to force anything in the face of a drastically worsening economy. Why import a shitload of cheap labor with an unemployment rate as bad as it is….and likely to get!? I know why the democrats want them here…so they can go before the hispanic block and say, “look what we’ve done, we’ve forced the issue but those evil old white men just won’t cooperate…the only way to get comprehensive immigration reform is to vote for us en masse”. It is now what it always was….a ploy to build a better, more reliable voting bloc!
I don’t think amnesty is going anywhere. Wait till the first contagious disease slips the leash and TEAM EVIL will be sprinting away from doing “Gods Work” that that useless bag of skin Pelosi was rambling on about last weekend.
The blood of those children is on progressive hands!LikeLike
-
It is now what it always was….a ploy to build a better, more reliable voting bloc!
Couldn’t agree more! But in today’s day and age, this is the MO for any politician regardless of the color of their shirt, with a close second place being given to securing a constant flow of more PAC dollars, to ensure that the ill-informed opinions of the masses can be manipulated through the power of repetitive media.
TEAM EVIL has no need to be afraid of scaring away voters with a contagious disease. After all, the trough feeders were willing to overlook Benghazi, the IRS scandal, chronic unemployment, and the list goes on and on and on… The best example of the blinders possessed by a Democrat Voter is evidenced by the sheer number of people that still checked the box next to Leland Yee’s name in the recent election, even after the scandal that broke with him playing the role of Al Capone (albeit Yee substituted guns for liquor). Whether those voters had no idea about the scandal (even though it was well covered in the news by all outlets) or just would rather have anybody in office but an “R,” the end result is that people were willing to give him a pass. The thought of this is scary, because every Democrat (Obama included) couldn’t help but wonder what else they could get away with, or how far they could take tyranny, before the Democrat masses truly actually give a shit and raise a red flag.LikeLike

Careful Ben….you wouldn’t want to step on the “third rail” of proggie politics:
Kate,
I wonder if the fact that Hobby Lobby purchases its resale goods from China was used against them in the arguments?
Here is post of mine on FB
Hobby Lobby disgusting case that was totally politically motivated not religious or spiritually as they like to claim.
Another way to look at the Hobby Lobby decision in all its hypocrisy. I can only assume a vast majority of the goods purchase for resale at the chain are made in China. China who had a One Child Policy that has forced abortions and even worse death after birth for girls babies. Their religious beliefs don’t seem to get in the way when it comes to them making money off of wage slave labor from a nation that has aborted and killed hundreds of millions.
First of all Poop Commander you have no idea that the decision was “politically motivated”! Just something else that you have no idea about and absolutely an example of more proggie projection!
I understand that the Spherical Former Newsman has embarked upon a new career of personal counseling. He might be able to help you work through your projection issues. You know….seeing all of your worst traits in the actions of others. He works cheap too! Though a box of Ho Ho’s as a gratuity is considered customary!
As to your central point….am I to take this a blanket condemnation of the practice of abortion? China does have forced abortions. I’m just surprised to hear your condemnation now…..I mean they had forced abortions before the Hobby Lobby case. They practiced sex selective abortions before the Hobby Lobby case. I don’t recall any outrage then…..only now, when you can use it for your own selfish and, “totally politically motivated” ends.
Keep going down this road Ben and you’re going to find yourself uninvited from the popular and fashionable proggie/SWPL get togethers…..thou shalt not speak ill of abortion regardless of context. That’s the first of the proglodyte 10 Commandments!LikeLike

In what ways is the existing body of immigration law insufficient to satisfactorily resolve today’s immigration issues?LikeLike
-
MichaelK 536pm – Great question Michael. My best answer to that is that it doesn’t adequately deal with the 11M+ illegal aliens already in the country. Hunting them down and deporting them is not an option in the context of our culture and values. So we need to come up with an augmented immigration policy in which we 1) unequivocally seal our borders (as I have specified before), and 2) prescribe a means of permanent residency for those already here that 2.1) prescribes a fair path to citizenship, and 2.2) doesn’t allow the expansion of that population through collateral immigration of relatives. In short, secure the geography of the United States as 1) prescribed by the Constitution, and 2) for promoting the current national interests of America.

I did hear a while back that Gov. Moonbeam is still working to end it all together. ( bad move) Which makes perfect sense to Ca. Ironically I am very close to George in the specific immigration recommendations, with the exception of the realization that although we must try mightily to secure our borders, and I support an increased presence on our borders to do, ultimately we can’t secure them if the economic and security opportunity afforded here is disproportionately so much greater than that afforded in immigrants home countries. I would try to seal the borders, but I would also work very hard with Central American countries and Mexico to try to improve their economies and reduce drug trafficking which would also make our neighbors better trading partners for the USA and less of a security risk to us.
I also think some special status has to be created for two classifications of people for humanitarian reasons: children of immigrants who have been naturalized and children of illegal immigrants brought to the country before the age of majority, and; the families of immigrants who have been naturalized, through sponsorship and/or preferential treatment in application for a green card.
I supported the BUSH II immigration proposal…you can look that one up.LikeLike

The arguments on securing the borders from the left are ridiculous. One only needs to look at the terrorists in Syria/Iraq as an example. Who gives a rat’s ass what the reasons for illegals moving across the borders of any state? In the ISIS issue it is ideology/power/Islam BS. Not economics. The points is if we are to maintain a viable country we have to control who comes in. (you can see how quickly terror works there) In order to do that we must insist on firm borders and funnel wannabees into the proper screening facilities after they have applied legally. Mexico does this, North Korea does this, Iran does this, hell, every country except those that wish to self destruct do this. Those that are self destructing are the “western” democracies who are desiring a PC life.
So, it all boils down to securing the border, and those here illegally need to return to their countries of orgin and apply for the PRIVILEGE of becoming an American!LikeLike

So why would anyone want to subject themselves to such ridicule just to make a point to a bunch of people who aren’t going to believe you in the first place no matter how good your research or sources.
An excellent question Joe! It would appear if we want to, “forge a consensus between widely differing viewpoints” as I believe you phrased it in a comment a few days ago we are all going to have to suffer the occasional “go fuck yourself”.LikeLike

fish, as the recipient of what you mentioned above I can tell JoeK, hop on board the “peace train” at any blog and you will get steamrolled. We tried for years to be peaceful with the likes of those progressives, but as usual they turn to personal attacks and belittlement. So, as with anyone, we fight back and best them and they cry and whine they are being picked on. Liberals always attack conservatives as meanines and never get into the same criticism (in depth as JoeK proves again)) of their own. So I laugh it off as biased and move on to better namecalling. LOL!
