My spies in the TP movement inform me that the nationwide number of organized local TPP groups now number in excess of 2,200 and growing at a rate of approximately 50 per week.  More good news rolls in from the left in that it appears the progressives are discounting the TPP as nothing more than a retread of conservative Republican copy.  However the fear there is real in that we now see the launch of some pretty crass hit pieces like this one cobbled together of a TP gathering on Huffington Post (here).  Note the injection of the screams and tussle of someone being manhandled.  This is serious stuff.  As one of my liberal friends in the news business wrote me, “The gloves are off.”

Some recent information from Mark Meckler, national co-coordinator of the Tea Party Patriot movement.

46% say tea party movement is good for America (145 million), 31% say bad (Rasmussen).  16% say they have signed up as "members" of a tea party (49 million) (Winston Group)
42% of Americans self identify as "conservative,"  30% as "moderate" and 22% as "liberal".

The most recent Court Decision limiting police officers in AZ to ask for immigration status will be a great recruiting tool for the TPP. Once again our government is not listening to the people and the people will continue to organize Tea Parties and will rise up when the time is right at the ballot box.

The liberals are on the run. The culture of corruption of their minions in DC and at other levels has disgusted the American people. The arrogance of Charles Rangel and Obama are on display and the people are horrified that we have allowed this to infect our great country.

Dick Morris supports my point above:
When Judge Susan Bolton granted an injunction halting the enforcement of key provisions of the Arizona immigration enforcement law, she ruled in favor of the Justice Department’s position, but against the president’s political interest.
Had the judge sustained this law, it would have made moot Obama’s opposition to the Arizona law. As it is, she has transformed the law into a big campaign issue against Obama. Now the president is standing in the way of a state that wants to enforce the law that he won’t.
The Arizona law is massively popular in the United States. Over 60 percent of all American voters support it. But the president has sought and has succeeded in stopping it from taking effect. Now this majority — close to two-thirds of the electorate — that backs the law will be able to focus their blame for its non-enforcement squarely on the president of the United States.
In the long term, the Bolton decision will likely be overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court and Arizona will find itself vindicated. But, in the meantime, the decision endangers the re-election chances of three Democratic Congressmen from Arizona. Their constituents will not be satisfied with statements from these Democrats supporting the Arizona law. They will become embittered because Obama’s Justice Department has overridden their will.

    This emboldened feeling that progressives
have is great. Now the whole country sees what
they stand for and reject it as insane. With the
SEC not allowing FOIA requests, even normal
Democrats are calling foul. These guys are going
down hard. The TEA Party movement is just the
    beginning.
