[The progressives’ inability to think logically, or even coherently, is on parade again across the nation.  ICE officers arresting illegal aliens may not wear face coverings to hide their personal identity (their official identity is visible from their uniforms, labeled jackets/vests, and badges) to prevent terrorists’ doxing their residences thereby threatening their families.  But it’s OK for leftwingers to support obvious criminals to wear identity-concealing face coverings as they riot, pillage, and burn while attacking law enforcement officers on the streets of America’s cities.  gjr]

So perhaps it should be removed from the Statute of Liberty since it gives people a false impression of our intentions.

    That’s an excellent idea!

Yeah Gregory perhaps it should be removed because it no longer reflects that virtue of our culture, We now take our ” huddled masses yearning to breathe free,” and send them to foreign concentration camps leaving their wives and children behind. I say Make America Righteous again.

DB 10:36 The fed money will always stipulate union labor and the unions always hand a percentage back to the Dems.
Whether or not the project makes any financial sense or whether it’s on time or even if it never gets completed – who cares?
All that matters is that the Dems got to scoop a boat load of tax payer dollars into their coffers and they get to count on union votes for “job creation”.
The feds should completely end financial involvement in local state and city transportation projects.
If California wants a choo-choo, then CA should pay for it. That project has gone completely outside of its legal operating authority anyway. Go back and look at what the voters were promised(hoodwinked into) and now look at what it is planned to be.

Well, the Epstein thing is closing in on Trump. He’ll be heading for the door soon.
Direct quote from a family member of an Epstein victim::
“It was shocking to hear President Trump invoke our sister and say that he was aware that Virginia had been ‘stolen’ from Mar-a-Lago,” the family said. “It makes us ask if he was aware of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s criminal actions, especially given his statement two years later that his good friend Jeffrey ‘likes women on the younger side … no doubt about it.’ We and the public are asking for answers; survivors deserve this.”
    From Fox news:
“The two men reportedly stopped speaking in 2004 after Trump outbid Epstein in a bankruptcy auction for a coastal Florida estate, according to The Palm Beach Post. Epstein was arrested by the Palm Beach Police Department two years later after a grand jury indicted him on a single charge of soliciting prostitution.
Trump explained Epstein poached several young women employed at his estate’s spa, including high-profile Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre.
“I think she worked at the spa,” Trump told reporters. “He stole her, and by the way, she had no complaints about us, as you know, none whatsoever.”

Well it looks kike things are closing in on Trump. I expect him to bail soon:
    From Fox News:
“The two men reportedly stopped speaking in 2004 after Trump outbid Epstein in a bankruptcy auction for a coastal Florida estate, according to The Palm Beach Post. Epstein was arrested by the Palm Beach Police Department two years later after a grand jury indicted him on a single charge of soliciting prostitution.

“I think she worked at the spa,” Trump told reporters. “He stole her, and by the way, she had no complaints about us, as you know, none whatsoever.”
    Amd this:
A 2020 civil suit that Jane would later file against the Epstein estate and its executors would later allege, “Introducing 14-year-old [Jane] to Donald J. Trump, Epstein elbowed Trump playfully asking him, referring to [Jane], ‘This is a good one, right?’ Trump smiled and nodded in agreement. They both chuckled and [Jane} felt uncomfortable, but, at the time, was too young to understand why.”
Trump later told New York Magazine, “I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it—Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”
That social life included dropping by Mar-a-Lago with a girl in her early teens whom Epstein’s driver, Juan Alessi, recalled from the stand as a “strikingly beautiful girl, beautiful eyes, long hair.”
    and this
“The two men reportedly stopped speaking in 2004 after Trump outbid Epstein in a bankruptcy auction for a coastal Florida estate, according to The Palm Beach Post. Epstein was arrested by the Palm Beach Police Department two years later after a grand jury indicted him on a single charge of soliciting prostitution.

Wall Street Journal just reported this:
“President Trump said he directed his team to fire the top Bureau of Labor Statistics official after the bureau issued a weak jobs report on Friday.
The report weighed on markets Friday along with Trump’s revamped tariff plan. Trump in a social media post said Erika McEntarfer, the BLS commissioner, would be “replaced with someone much more competent and qualified,” asserting without evidence that the government’s jobs numbers have been manipulated for political purposes.”
Do you agree with this decision?

Erika McEntarfer was a Biden hack who constantly had to “revise” previously rosy job numbers when Biden needed to have the good numbers. Later – the jobs reports would turn out to be garbage and a very quiet revision would show the actual numbers to be fake. This happened several times during the Biden admin.
    Here’s just one example:

Now this just strikes me as a case of “sour grapes” on Terry’s part…..

It used to be “if you are obeying the law, why fear our surveillance society?” This is no longer true. Ask any immigrant in the US who has been living, working, raising a family, running a business, paying taxes or otherwise acting like any US citizen for years, even decades. Most are not guilty of any crime other than waiting for the legal system to hear their requests for citizenship.
Thanks to “47” authorizing DOGE to examine records of ALL Americans, using tech billionaire (and major Trump donor) Peter Thiel’s Palantir spyware, we are at risk of…of what? What does it mean when “47” authorized in March the use of Thiel’s military grade data surveillance software to examine and collate Social Security records, IRS records, Health and Human Services…indeed, apparently every government record of every American? Until now, this data has been “siloed” specifically to protect against this kind of invasiveness…..

Yeah Terry….it was the conservatives and libertarians who complained about the possibility of the Panopticon and they were ridiculed for it!
I get it though…..you’re not upset at the notion of total surveillance, you’re upset that the “other side” got to it first. Under a Harris Adminstration nobody cares if what you’re viewing on your office computer is inappropriate ….or illegal.
