[Where is the eternal debate going on politicians lying? It seems that our leftwing readers gleefully highlight every Trump pronouncement that is in any, even minute, way flawed as an intended lie. But they totally ignore the daily pronouncements of Democrats as members of the greatest perennial lying machine in the country. gjr]

Here’s a proposition for all of you sports: Now that Paramount has bought off Trump for $16 million to settle the “60 Minutes” case, how long will it take the FCC to approve the merger of Paramount with Skydance Media? I have the over/under at nine months: -120 if you bet the over, +110 if you bet the under.

“Now that Paramount has bought off Trump for $16 million to settle the “60 Minutes” case,…”
Do you really think they wanted to go to trial with that? Discovery alone would have… well, “discovered” probably a lot of stuff that the good folks at 60 Minutes and CBS would rather you not notice.
Looking at the clips that were deceptively edited vs the raw footage clearly showed they were trying to keep Kamala from looking like the complete idiot that she is.
Fun fact:
Trump does not receive nor will he profit one dime from this settlement. Nor will anyone at the FCC.
Now Boardman has a sad because he was told by the liars he follows that this was a “payoff” to Trump personally.
Looking forward to what proof Boardman has that the merger would only be approved if Paramount paid out the 16 mil. Also – what would a trial and an appeal cost them? Sometimes you shrug and pay.
As Schumer would advise – “just move forward!”

Just think how little they would have had to pay if they hadn’t edited the video footage to try and make Heels Up Harris look like she had more going on upstairs than a 40 watt lightbulb.

The Dems are smacking their lips now that they have the worst legislation in modern history to campaign against. Well done Repubs!!
From Fox news!
“By a 21-point margin, voters questioned in the most recent Fox News national poll opposed the federal budget legislation (38% favored vs. 59% opposed), which passed by the House of Representatives by just one vote last month.
The bill was also underwater in national surveys conducted this month by the Washington Post (minus 19 points), Pew Research (minus 20 points) and Quinnipiac University (minus 26 points).”

Perhaps Paul should ask the 59% opposed WHY they opposed it?
Myself and a healthy percentage of voters thought it was loaded with too much spending.
Would love to hear Paul explain how the Dems are going to use that to their advantage.
Anyway – glad to hear the Dems are licking their lips.

Direct quotes from Trump . What a liar!
MARCH 2023: “There’s a very easy negotiation to take place. But I don’t want to tell you what it is because then I can’t use that negotiation; it’ll never work,” Trump told Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity, claiming that he could “solve” the war “in 24 hours” if he were back in the White House.
“But it’s a very easy negotiation to take place. I will have it solved within one day, a peace between them,” Trump said of the war, which at that point had been ongoing for more than a year since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
MAY 2023: “They’re dying, Russians and Ukrainians. I want them to stop dying. And I’ll have that done — I’ll have that done in 24 hours,” Trump said during a town hall on CNN.

Note that to our resident liberals the fact that Medicare and Medical participants had to satisfy certain legal requirements makes no difference, especially if those denied are illegal aliens. They know that redistributing the country’s wealth so as to unsustainably pay for everything for everybody will continue to weaken America, the country that they loath, and that is their entire goal.

Yes well you absolutely don’t matter and have no role in the process so whatever you say is pointless.
What does matter is the fact that TEAM EVIL uses these programs that you consider so crucial (Medicare/Medicaid, Foo Stam, etc. ….the one that puts on transgender musicals in Columbia and considers that a vital service) as blackmail and bribery. That’s why they are dying!

from the Wall Street Journal:
“Repeat and repeat again: Republicans are not cutting spending on Medicaid or food stamps; the House and Senate bills merely slow those programs’ (unsustainable) rate of growth. Republicans accomplish this by implementing modest work requirements for able-bodied adults, by pushing back on a scheme states use to inflate federal Medicaid spending, and by asking states to be more diligent in identifying fraud. Our recent breakdown of the CBO forecast of who would “lose” Medicaid by 2034 shows a population of able-bodied adults who aren’t complying with the work requirement, illegal migrants, and people who qualify for other subsidized coverage.”

Well than Barry if true ten I would say Trump is delusional which is a form of mental illness. There is no factual basis for that statement.
Here’s a typical defination of a “delusional” person:
“Delusional” refers to having a false and unshakable belief that is not based in reality. It can be a symptom of various mental disorders, including delusional disorder, and is characterized by a strong conviction in something untrue, even when presented with evidence to the contrary.
