I really wasn’t planning to respond but it has recently been brought to my attention that there is an elderly gentleman who depends on George’s site for information (I thought there was nothing here but mockery and vitriol. That’s why I’m here!) and our selfish commandeering of the comment threads is preventing him from obtaining the vital information that he so desperately needs. Apparently I had been laboring under the assumption that in this day and age information is available from multiple sources….and all you have to do is train yourself to look for it! Nevertheless we need to be gentle with those of diminished capacity. I will lurk but be posting here much less frequently than in the past. You and your co-operator of the “hillbilly” puppet can run amuck without opposition and Emery can continue to virtue signal even harder (he really needs a minder at this stage of his life! He barely knows to whom he responds these days! Just that mindless lashing out in all directions that is so indicative of the onset of senescence!). This should reduce clutter on the comment threads and make it easier for the gentleman in question to find what he needs.
One thing though before I depart…. I’ve always been curious because your posting is so similar to each other, you never said what would be more disturbing to you. Is it worse in your estimation that you write like Pelline or the other way around?

The Supreme Court of the United Kingdom unanimously ruled Wednesday that a woman is someone born biologically female, a move that now excludes transgender women from the legal definition of a woman.
Trans women can be excluded from some single-sex spaces and groups under the U.K. Equality Act, the five judges of the top court ruled. These spaces and groups include changing rooms, homeless shelters, swimming areas and medical or counseling services provided only to women.
The ruling means that even a transgender person with a certificate that recognizes them as female should not be considered a woman for equality purposes.

His news sources – the same as for all our progressive commenters – consider such reporting as inimical to their narrative and therefore not to be disseminated. Conversations with such people are remarkable in the breadth and depth of what they admit to having no knowledge. The situation is totally asymmetrical; they can introduce no new items not already covered by real news outlets.
Today our two sides are exposed to totally different reports of what is happening in the world. It’s easy to confirm that our leftwingers get strictly censored and ideologically edited versions of the news. For example, leftwing outlets would not dare have regular panels of commentators populated by both progressives and conservatives; nor would they report in detail (e.g. videos of leftwing politicians) the counter arguments to those of the Right as seen daily on Fox News and Fox Business among other ‘rightwing’ outlets.

But by the time Harvard received “a frantic call from a Trump official,” the following Monday, it was too late. The university had already defied the president’s demands for control, “setting off a tectonic battle between one of the country’s most prestigious universities and a U.S. president,” the Times reported.
In a statement Friday, Harvard remained critical of the administration.
