[Kamala tells us we’re not going back to Trump’s bad old days. That means we’re not going back to historically low inflation rates, low interest rates, lower taxes, less regulations, secure borders, peace in the world, wages that outpace inflation, budgets to rebuild our military, fewer illegal aliens, … . Yep, that woman really knows how to sell us her brave new tomorrow. gjr]

Gavin claims gas prices are high in CA due to “big oil company greed”.
OK – why are the companies only greedy in CA?
Help is on the way!
““The State of California would purchase and own refineries in the State to manage the supply and price of gasoline,” wrote the study’s authors, with the scope of the initiative ranging from “one refinery to all refineries in the state.””
The folks that run DMV would run the oil refineries – what could possibly go wrong?

It is a rather curious thing that now that everyone (except Joe) knows Biden is unfit for office no one really wants to do anything about it.
One way to look at it is that he’s been this way through the whole term and – “hey, the stock market is up”.
If Harris wins I suppose the same cabal of “people in the shadows” will continue to operate the Puppet POTUS. It works for them and isn’t that all that counts? It IS their democracy, not yours.

President Biden became confused and lost track of events during a press conference alongside India’s prime minister on Saturday.
The incident came when Biden was supposed to introduce Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Wilmington, Delaware. He instead became confused and appeared to think he was waiting for a question from reporters. An announcer then introduces Modi following an uncomfortable pause.
“I want to thank you all for being here,” Biden said. “Now, who am I introducing next?”
“Who’s next?” he shouts, leading to several seconds of silence.
The interaction came just one day after Biden received heavy criticism for allowing First Lady Jill Biden to run a cabinet meeting on Friday.

So Gregory and Scott won’t come out in support of the banning or hydraulic mining. That means they support it and oppoe its banning. Here are some of the effects of it on the earth and people who live here:

Ghalib was one of the leaders of the effort to get Muslim Democrats to vote “Uncommitted” against Biden earlier this year in the Democrat primary in Michigan, and then that movement transformed first into the “Abandon Biden” effort in the general election and has now become the “Abandon Harris” movement.
Ghalib, the mayor of Hamtramck who is also a Democrat and a Yemeni immigrant, represents one of the biggest Muslim communities in Wayne County, Michigan. The population is reportedly 60 percent Muslim.
Then, Sunday afternoon as Trump was speaking with Breitbart News, Ghalib formally endorsed Trump for president — marking a monumental shift among Arab voters against Democrats and toward Trump Republicans.

“I’m referring that question to my lawyer Gregory.”
Well I’m sure the “Matlock” of this blog is familar with the aphorism, “A man who represents himself has a fool for a client” (Abraham Lincoln….I thought it was Twain….shows what I know!) and in his case this has never been more true. But because it’s Weez you really need to know that it’s bluster! He can’t afford a lawyer and because Gregory phrased his thought rhetorically as a question and it wasn’t defamatory I’m pretty sure there’s nothing actionable in the language. Full disclosure….I’m not an attorney and I didn’t stay at a Holiday Inn Express™ last night.
You want to weigh in on this Barry? Provide a little pro bono legal advice for Nevada City’s “stalwart man about town”?

fish – that’s hilarious. Why would some one go to all the trouble of creating such a fake news story? It’s completely lame – it wouldn’t change anyone’s mind about who they intended to vote for and it would be (and was) easily and quickly discredited.
To me it smells like a false flag set up so the Dems can point to it and claim this is why we need censorship by the govt.
You can be sure every time some one points out a factual negative about Harris, the Dems will wave this story and say “See – more of this. We warned you”.
They are getting desperate.

A fitting end for the senile old grifter…..to embarrass himself on the way out the door!
“Joe Biden spoke at the U.N. General Assembly on Tuesday in what is likely his last big world speech to close out his 50 years in political life.
Unfortunately, he’s going out after having left the country in shambles. He’s leaving because he was shoved off his reelection bid by his own party, who knew he was going to lose.
His condition was much in evidence as he spoke, despite the fact that he had a teleprompter.
A handler even had to indicate to him where the podium was that he was supposed to speak from.
He was slurring up a storm and you could see how heavily he was relying on the teleprompter. And he seemed to be getting even older even as he detailed some of the things that had happened over those 50 years.
He claimed that we brought Osama bin Laden “justice.” But he had been against taking bin Laden out at the time, even as he now appeared to be trying to take credit for it.
He spoke about the decision to pull out of Afghanistan and said it was the right decision, but he took no responsibility for the botched way in which he conducted the withdrawal, which led to the death of 13 Americans.”
But I totally get why the Weez liked him so much!
