Tonight on CNN we had a trainwreck unsuccessfully disguised as a presidential debate. The Democrats will never allow Joe Biden to debate Donald Trump again. And on the off chance that they will, Trump will refuse to participate on humanitarian grounds. Oh well. When a senior politician is as far gone as President Sundowner, it’s just normal behavior by a self-interested group.
. They’d rather have ‘their man’ in office as opposed to someone else.
. Senior staff are actually running the show and like it that way (I expect this is a problem that Trump largely doesn’t have).
. It’s really all just marketing. The Biden Basement Campaign of 2020 was brilliantly done, although it required COVID to jam through the voting rules changes and lack of visibility of the candidate.
I guess that the ideal (D) candidate is a guy on a feeding tube somewhere.
Naturally, we’re at Cope Level 1000, which is fun as all get-out to watch. NO! TRUMP IS THE ONE WITH DEMENTIA!!!
Naturally, they’ll all jump on the Kamala Bandwagon the moment everyone is promised their piece of the pie. Democrats generally are just like establishment Republicans, all about the grift.

..as an aside, I’m not sure that the current system is very good at producing high quality thinkers. Post-Nixon, they all seem to be average (at best) in intelligence and not well suited to rolling dice on the Risk board.
Watch Putin sometime do an ad-hoc sort of talk. Sharp as tack. There actually are bright people out there.
