[A Clarion Call for Rearmament – “Sen. Wicker, ranking Republican on the Armed Services Committee, rolled out a report detailing why America’s military budget is inadequate for the “world in which we find ourselves.” America’s military isn’t equipped to deal with potential wars on two continents at once, much less the new threats in space and from artificial intelligence. Mr. Wicker proposes an additional $55 billion for the Pentagon in 2025, a total of $950 billion, as part of a new ‘generational investment.’” (more here)]

Paul 8:10 – The “conviction” of Trump is based on nonsense so goobers like you can walk around like a doll with a tape loop inside bleating “convicted felon” over and over. There are legal experts who don’t like Trump that have agreed it was a travesty.
It wasn’t a felony and the statutes of limitations had run out. It absolutely will be overturned.
That list of people accused or convicted who were associated with Trump was a list compiled for morons and Trump haters to get their pants wet.
The Dems are heading our country down a path that leads to bloodshed. They are counting on it.

It seems to me that a better question is, are we seeing:
a) A war between factions of Presidential staff (plus Doctor First Lady Doctor Jill Biden) .or.
b) An agreement by Presidential staff to change headings since the Prime Directive is to win elections (and keep the iron rice bowl flowing).
It isn’t like Biden is capable of making policy. He wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed to begin with and his current physical and mental disabilities are painfully obvious to anybody with eyes.
It’s hard to tell since the professional bureaucracy and MSM both want him to be reelected, so all lips are sealed.
That’s another good reason to see Orange Hitler Term II, government would be more open.

lol. Madness. Basically Trump paid some money to a trollop, the accounting entry didn’t say “$130k to Trollop”. Voila’…34 felonies.
It seems to me that the crying shame about politically-motivated use of the legal system is that it lowers respect for the law generally. This was bullshit. Everyone knows it’s bullshit. The fact that it’s bullshit doesn’t matter to some people. At the bottom, since shoplifting isn’t punished it became essentially legal. At the top, who you are matters more than what you did.
Maybe that’s just always the nature of metastasizing government. The bigger and more invasive it gets, the more opportunities there are for scraping off a little dinero for one’s self and for punishing your enemies. Whoever controls the cops controls the money. Nothing new really, but it’s cyclical. The smart money is in non-profits, inventing Indian reservations, or running protection scams like the ACLU and the SPLC. Nice work if you can get it.

None of the accounting entries would have said $130k to trollop… Spermy got equal payments of 130000/34 or about $3824 per check.

Anything can be illegal with the right jury.
I tried to dig around to look at the actual details on the charges, but got too weary. My working assumption is that that Cohen character (and any other witnesses) was stuck in a room with Team Blue attorneys, FBI agents, whoever, and was informed of the 2000 years of prison at a Federal medium facility he’d get if he didn’t play ball.
Honestly, the real lesson here is just how crooked the whole system can be. A lot of those people in jail that law-abiding Trump MAGA folks think should just rot there maybe shouldn’t be. The system can grind people up for reasons beyond justice. Just imagine the fun when the Surveillance State really ramps up.

The Georgia Court of Appeals’ order on Wednesday prevents Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee from moving forward with pretrial motions as he had planned while the appeal is pending. While it was already unlikely that the case would go to trial before the November general election, when Trump is expected to be the Republican nominee for president, this makes that even more certain.

There would have to be proven intent by Trump to break the law by choosing that particular tab and even then would only be a misdemeanor. The statute of limitations expired years ago. There was never any testimony or evidence that Trump intended to break any laws.
The more I hear about the judges actions during the trial make it ever more plain it will be thrown out.

Team creepy grampa joe team just love to create lies by manipulating the data –
Breitbart News showed this claim to be false when President Joe Biden first made it on June 2, 2022. Breitbart News dug into the data and found that 18- and 19-year-olds (i.e., people of voting age) had to be counted as children in order for his claim to be accurate. But 18- and 19-year-olds are not children, and therefore, Biden’s claim was false, just as the White House’s current claim is false.
A May 26, 2022, FOX News report noted that Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) figures show firearm-related deaths of people ages 0-19 totaled 4,368 in 2020, while motor vehicle deaths for the same age range totaled 4,036. This gave rise to gun control groups claiming more children die from guns than in car accidents. However, they missed the age range, which, as reported, included 18- and 19-year-olds.
Breitbart News did a custom search on the CDC numbers and limited the category of “children” to those 0-17 (i.e., individuals below voting age) and the data completely flipped. The number of firearm-related deaths for children aged 0-17 was 2,281 in 2020, while the number of motor vehicle deaths for the same ages was 2,503.

From the same people who want to violate federal law and mandate illegal aliens be hired for state jobs and they wonder why so many minority voters are abandoning the dems. They really do hate citizens. –
The California Business and Industrial Alliance (CABIA) said nearly 10,000 jobs have been cut across fast food restaurants since Newsom signed California Assembly Bill 1287 into law last year. To highlight what it says are the unintended consequences of the law
When he signed the law, Newsom said the state was getting “one step closer to fairer wages, safer and healthier working conditions, and better training by giving hardworking fast food workers a stronger voice and seat at the table.”
Governments, unlike private businesses, have options when they run out of money, said Manzo, who said officials were living in a “fantasyland” by thinking that drastic wage increases will help workers or businesses.
Meanwhile, the increase in pay comes as inflation has resulted in higher prices for fast food items. A recent survey conducted by LendingTree found 78% of consumers now consider fast food to be a “luxury” purchase due to how expensive the meals have become.
Part of the push for the hike was to give fast food workers more financial freedom in a state known for its high cost of living. However, critics contend fast food jobs were meant for young people as a stepping stone.
“It’s a starter industry,” Manzo said. “You get a job as a kid working in a fast food restaurant and you learn some good work ethic and that takes you into life.”

That’s the first thing that popped into my mind, but times have changed. The current model is unlimited immigration from the Third World combined with guaranteed jobs working for large companies at a survival wage. It’s a long way from the era of family farms but it’ll keep the Big Machine grinding on for a year or two…at least until the robot overlords redesign burger flipping.
If we could all just run our own fire safety non-profit everything would be good.

A federal judge Thursday ordered Steve Bannon to surrender by July 1 to serve a four-month prison sentence for defying the House committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack and former President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
The former Trump adviser was convicted in 2022 of contempt of Congress, but a judge had allowed him to remain free while he appealed. A three-judge panel rejected Bannon’s appeal last month

You don’t have to pretend you’re ignorant scenes, You’re support of Trump the indicted felon, for President is evidence enough. Trump, the biggest loser in modern political history has kept the Dems in the Presidency and the Senate and soon the house something any reasonable Republican President and current candidate would not been able to do, Go for it scenes, you and your type are much appreciated by the Dems.

When I’m ignorant, I attempt to say so. It’s hard to tell what’s really going on in the Halls of Power now that we’ve allowed them to grow to the extent they have.
Hey, don’t look at me. I don’t get all my news from headlines for stories I don’t have access to. Get back to us when you pony up for the WSJ membership.
Looking at the Biden video I posted, a kind of original source material I guess, he looks to be the perfect President for you. You guys would have a lot to talk about.

The Brainstem Administration must really be concerned behind the scenes….
Wonder if those big numbers were a result of the burrito assembly sector or unlicensed/untaxed home improvement industries?
Bloomberg’s chief economist Anna Wong agreed, and not only that, but she also agreed with our recurring contention that the Household Survey is far more accurate…
Oh President Stem….is there nothing you can’t do?!?!

“Canadian Cancer Society sorry for using ‘cervix’ instead of ‘front hole’ for LGBTQ+ community”
“…On the page dedicated to cervical cancer screenings for members of the LGBTQ+ community, the charitable organization explains in a disclaimer they “recognize that many trans men and non-binary people may have mixed feelings about or feel distanced from words like ‘cervix.’”
The charity acknowledged in a section titled “Words Matter” that some members of the community may prefer to use other terms such as “front hole.”
“We recognize the limitations of the words we’ve used while also acknowledging the need for simplicity,” the Canadian Cancer Society wrote. “Another reason we use words like ‘cervix’ is to normalize the reality that men can have these body parts too.””

Paul, what is the local music community’s stance on the cervix vs. front hole controversy?

It’s usually the Simpsons™ that bends future reality to its will but I suppose Borat (Borat! Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, or simply Borat…thanks Wikipedia) gets a say now and again!
