[It pays to contemplate more often than not of how absolutely ignorant cum stupid the majority of the American electorate has become in not understanding one whit about the objectives of collectivist politicians for whom they religiously vote. They are totally and consummately convinced by the lamestream media of a world that does not exist and of causes that have effects opposite from those reported. As our Founders predicted, the republic is doomed. gjr]

This isn’t DK, dude. You have to provide some sort of logic and facts.
I’m just pointing out facts. When did that make me “furious” or against the Constitution?
You can use crayons or spray paint if typing logical complete sentences is too hard for you, Juanita.

The other candidates running for the Republican nomination are up in arms about the Colorado ruling. they say “we don’t want judges making decisions. we want voters making decisions”.
So, how does that square with Bush v. Gore when the when the judges decided to stop the recount in Florida?

Let’s re-visit the price drop for Trans & BLT-leaning companies since early April through last week:

Still down, but less so than the original kerfuffle-induced drop.

Lonely Juanita 6:14 – Really dude? You really can’t figure it out? You really want us to see you as a complete idiot?
I’ll ‘splain it to you by typing real slow so maybe you can understand:
In Florida, the voters were allowed to cast votes for their preferred candidates. The judges had to act because the Dems wanted rule changes after the voting was over. So the judges said “sorry, no rule changes after the game is over”.
In the case with Colorado, the judges are saying “we don’t like Trump, so you aren’t allowed to vote for him”.
It is abundantly clear that if Juanita’s fav pol was ordered off the ballot for the same reasons, he’d be hopping mad.
I’m always amused at the evidence piling up that the left have absolutely no values whatever beyond hypocrisy.

Scotto, there were two sets of justices mucking with bush v. gore… scotus and scofl. Florida was trending R with the executive branch and legislators being dominated by the GOP, but ALL 7 of their justices were dem with a majority (4) feeling their oats and willing to muck with the election.
I recall the final round being kicked off with a florida court decision ignoring a scotus direction not to do what they were about to do.
The Florida recount was inventing votes for Gore. A flawed technology for voting but California avoided a Floridian meltdown by defining a vote as a fully detached chad.
LikeLike
Gregory – Yeah, the “hanging chads”. Funny how it was only an issue for the Dem voters. There were instructions for the voters to make sure their ballots were free of the dangling chads before handing them in, but the highly intelligent Dems were unable to solve that puzzle. I’ve used those type of ballots in the past in CA.
There was also the “confusing” butterfly ballot design that only seemed to confuse the Dems.
And of course there’s the issue of showing an ID in order to vote. Totally stumps the Dems. The same ID they manage to have available to get on a plane, pick up a prescription, buy booze and firearms. When it comes to voting, they have apparently used up all their brain cells just to find their voting place.

Besides Well-Hung Chad hanging around, Florida had a problem with their GOP dominant panhandle, an hour behind the rest of the state, finding turnout dropping off a cliff when national news called the state based on their election day polls of voters after voting but the polls in the western part of the state were still open. Oooops.
Recounters were arguing over whether an intact Chad had any indication of the punch tool being put to it, showing an intent to punch it out. Two Dems voting against one R, much as two lions voting against one sheep over the dinner menu.

Actually Gregory you can thank Ralph Nader, who ran as an independent in the Florida election, for Bush’s win. In the 2000 presidential election in Florida, Bush defeated Al Gore by 537 votes. Nader received 97,421 votes. There is no doubt Gore would have recieved the majority of those votes han he not run.

So, Jeff… by what tie to the Latino community do you adopt the name Juan?
A recovered memory… the “butterfly ballot” controversy was driven by a senior moment… old folks in an old folks home were talking and discovered to their horror that some of them were confused and voted for the R and not the D that their age and their betters demanded.
There were immediate howls from the left, but the ballot was designed not by evil Republicans but hapless Dems who were in control in their area.
