   Many thanks. I found her dissertation. It’s the normal sort of thing that folks in these super-soft disciplines do, although I see that the word ‘black’ appears 1115 times.
   Maybe it would be simpler to just give everyone the first name ‘Dr.’ and be done with it.

   Last year, CNN commissioned a survey examining viewer trust and the places where CNN was succeeding and falling short with viewers across the ideological spectrum. According to a partial copy of the report, which hasn’t been revealed before, CNN’s coverage of Covid-19 was the third leading cause of distrust in the network behind liberal bias and “the Chris Cuomo situation.”
   Survey respondents of all ideological stripes criticized the network’s “overly dramatic and sensational” and “dire” reporting, the report said.

   It really is the perfect motte and bailey.
   At one end, you have YOU DON’T THINK THAT ADULT MEN SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO A MARRIAGE LICENSE???. At the other, about a million policy&fiscal concepts, rules for races, struggle sessions, lotsa pervy child sexuality.
   Naturally, the symbology looks like any other mind-owning wacked-out authoritarian movement. There’s a reason that all the flags on Broad St. in Pridetown look like 1930s Europe.

    At least they gave the word ‘vile’ a break.
    In normal times, you’d simply give the ‘undocumented Americans’ a nice meal, a place to rest their weary heads for the night, and a return ticket to Mexico or wherever. However, when your plan is to Stick it to the Trumpsters, you march in favor of wet foot/dry foot, make sure that every school has a resident drag queen, surround them with the vexillography of ‘Pride’, give 100%-off sales every day in urban retail for St. Floyds Day.
    When you get down to it, it’s also a form of self-harm, so I’m not entirely sure what the point is.
    OTOH, maybe it’s kind of refreshing to have newspapers who sound like those immediately prior to 1860. People connect their ids directly to their keyboard in an outpouring of pre-kinetic furor.

    re D B 9:40 – So we have progressed to the point now where the current admin is open to talking about the existence of a “Biden Family Business”. Joe has no idea of what the business might be, of course. He’s never talked to any of the family members about it.
    I don’t suppose any of the press would be rude enough to inquire how they would know it poses no natl sec threat if they claim they don’t know what the business is?
    It does seem to be progressing along the lines noted by scenes.
    Although I think there needs to be a different step 3:
    “OK, it did happen and some people might be able to twist it into looking like it does matter, but we have far more important events that actually matter to Americans than wasting time on these mistakes that have happened with all administrations.

    “…your outrage” – I’m so glad this is the worst thing in their world.
    No matter how they redesign it, some one is bound to be outraged ’cause they not on top!
    I would suggest a separate round area showing the different colored chillin’ and a fastener to allow a rotation of one’s choice.
    And make damn sure the YT kid is on the bottom when they ship it.
