   Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are enjoying millions in taxpayer-funded grants to facilitate illegal immigration throughout the United States, Reps. Lance Gooden (R-TX) and Jim Jordan (R-OH) say.
   In a letter to the National Board of Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP), Gooden and Jordan demanded a full accounting for all taxpayer-funded grants that have been awarded to NGOs.
   Illegal immigration imposes an enormous burden on American taxpayers. Annually, taxpayers are charged more than $143 billion as a result of millions of illegal aliens residing in the United States.
   That amount, though, does not include any of the social and economic costs — such as higher housing prices, depleted wages, lost jobs, increased crime, and strained public resources at hospitals and schools — that are associated with illegal immigration.

   Poor DeSantis is reminding of that hilarious video where JEB! kept getting cut off by the God-Emperor while a vuvuzela rang out, but really, that closing tune in the fake Twitter video is perfect. The Trump people should do whatever it takes, write a big ol’ check, to get rights to that song (Hold On, I’m Comin’ / Sam & Dave) and use it as a tag absolutely everywhere. It would be brilliant.

    My favorite ones are the Obama Netflix and book deals. You’d hate for them to be poor swinging into old age.
    It’s a funny old world. You’ve got activist corporations having their stock bought by activist mutual and hedge funds having their shares bought by government-subsidized/activist-corporation-encouraged 401(k)s. One big happy machine…until it isn’t.
    Maybe a ‘return to fundamentals’ will consist of people fighting over canned goods after the Coyote looks down and notices he’s gone beyond the cliff edge.
