You know, it’s hard to get more useless than a professional politician, especially rich people who got their lucre the old-fashioned way (marrying into it), about essentially engineering problems. Naturally, they always leave out the bit about power storage, environmental cost and lifespan of solar, the huge huge potential disasters in switching to single-sourced and brittle sources that lack buffering.
If the John Kerrys and Newsoms of the world get their way, a person would be well advised to not only go off-grid if possible, but start thinking about truly building their home into a castle. The likelihood of widescale civil disorders on week 2 or 3 of an outage are probably 100%.

The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 compels DHHS to take responsibility for improving efficacy and safety of vaccines; and charges them with continuous monitoring and improving of adverse event reporting. The DHHS is also tasked with providing a report on improvements by the Mandate for Safer Childhood Vaccine clause to the Congress at least every 2 years.

Ben what part of “lukewarm nods” aren’t you getting? I’ve seen virtually zero support for any of the Republicans here in “Bubbletopia”……and that includes the establishments savior DeSantis (maybe a little from Brother Bill and Bessee). Personally and strictly for the yucks I wouldn’t mind The Pride of Scranton being puppeted around the White House for another term….I imagine after that there would be no getting around making real changes after that.
I don’t really see Kennedy being any worse than any others mentioned thus far.
Remember……first tragedy, then farce (farce being clearly Shotgun Joey).

Given who runs the Democratic party, I would suggest that RFK Jr. stay away from convertibles.
An RFK vs. DJT race would be interesting as neither result looks as disastrous as what we have now. Plus, they both have a helluva lot more charisma and speaking ability than the lump in office currently (what Scott Adams refers to as ‘a bag of sticks and leaves’). If Kennedy is as anti-establishment as he claims, he’d probably be in the same boat as Trump, with a psul-endorsed 17 intelligence agencies and bureaucracy running a stealth insurgency.
Since Kennedy actually has skin in the JFK-assassination investigation game, you can imagine the lengths psul’s favorite feds will go to to keep him out of office. If he survives, the incinerators will be working overtime.
Exciting times.

I have to say that it’s odd that the marketing department for Bud Light isn’t made up of regular dudes with ski boats. I can’t say that I know anyone who has gotten a shingles shot, although I see the signs at the drug store now and again, along with flu shots for last year’s variety. Maybe I should keep up with my tetanus shot and smallpox shots, the last ones being 5 or 6 decades ago. Hep-B shots maybe. How about the several COVID boosters you are supposed to have gotten…essentially useless, when widely issued they cause more virulent variations, occasional nasty side effects. I can’t blame RFKJr on this one.

My guess is that COVID ‘vaccines’ will end up being the public policy debacle of the century, but all the policy makers will have to be dead for a generation before anyone notices.
In the meantime, it’s all motte ‘n bailey. Measles vaccines work therefore all vaccines must work.

Biden announced his run for pres. in 2024 very early this morning. He used pre-recorded video to announce his run. Could not even take 3 minutes to announce it live. So he was probably still in bed sleeping when the video was released.
Took more time to make the video than it took the FBI to confirm that Hunter’s laptop was a Russian hoax.
