    Crime of the century!
“Photo goes viral of Kari Lake refusing to stand during Black national anthem before Super Bowl”
Probably didn’t have on all the necessary lapel pins the left requires, either.
Why aren’t the Eskimos suing about their Anthem not being played?
You want to tear a country apart – this is how it’s done.
    Keep it up, lefties.
You’ll be the first ones to be crying about the outcome.

‘Health professionals organize against drugs, surgery for gender-confused kids’

    Across the pond….
“The National Health Service is shutting down the clinic, known as Tavistock, following detransitioner litigation and an independent review that questioned the research behind its practices and “unquestioning affirmative approach.””
Hmmm. No, they shut down the foremost clinic because of hundreds of lawsuits. Same with the Swiss. And Sweden. Looks like the USA is the only saying “Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead, “ while Europe is actually looking at the science and evidence.

“Now, a new scientific review — led by 12 researchers from esteemed universities around the world — suggests that widespread masking may have done little to nothing to curb the transmission of COVID-19.”
Yeah, but it was a useful tool to control people – so there was that.

So – do we get an apology?

3 people killed at Michigan State University; gunman dead
I feel so sorry about this….the victims of course! But more importantly for the noble and goodthinkful progressive denizens of Nevada City who can’t ascend to the top of the pile of still warm dead bodies and pontificate about gun control……because…..wait for it….the shooter occupies the wrong spot on the Pantone scale.
    ….again!

“Yeah, but it was a useful tool to control people – so there was that.” (referring to masks)
Another cool thing about masks is that COVID normalized their use. They enable you to have 100% off sales at Walgreens and firebomb federal courthouses in Portland with more impunity.
    re: Amazon banning books
Of course, it’s all about ‘WELL, IT’S A PRIVATE BUSINESS, THEY CAN DO WHAT THEY WANT’ if hewing the ‘progressive’ line. It’s a delicious turnaround on the evil free market Nazis typed on a Macbook while swilling a double decaf, half caff, caffeinated coffee…with a twist of lemon. Life is sweet sometimes.

Where I hit it was trying to find a copy of any Aleksandr Dugin books. Figgered it would be good to have some insight into Russian nationalism now that the mostly peaceful folks running the country have decided to fight the Russkies. No go, A. Dugin being a badthinker and all.

    Side note about controlling people.
It’s funny how much of control doesn’t consist of making someone do a thing you want, but making them do things they don’t want, particularly philosophical things.
If you make everyone admit, out loud, that child mutilation to meet their 15 year old concept of gender is good, that Grand Admiral Levine is a woman, that taking down historical statues is good, that kneeling to a golden coffin of George Floyd is good, that Western Civilization and your ancestry is bad, then getting you to buy into a whole program is easier.
The difference between this and making your child soldier kill a civilian to be part of the gang is just one of magnitude, not kind.
There’s a finely honed logic to demoralization.

aah, but I bet the gun was stolen from the correct Pantone number. If the badthink Pantone people just didn’t own guns, then the goodthink Pantone people wouldn’t have to steal them. Easy peasy.
A fun game to play is one I ran into on some online Den of Inquity or the other.
On Google, type in the name of some civilized-sounding city, followed by ‘shooting suspect’.
    Example: ‘milwaukee shooting suspect’.
    Then press ‘images’. Hilarity ensues.

Arguing facts not in evidence but it wouldn’t surprise me if this very thought is being batted around the non-profit right now as a possible line of argument once the details are known.

Wyoming Limiting Child Marriage Sparks Republican Outrage
The Wyoming Republican Party is seeking to kill a bill working its way
through the state Legislature proposing to -RAISE- the states legal marriage age
to 16, arguing that putting “arbitrary” limits on child marriage interferes with
    parental and religious liberty.

“Currently, Wyoming is one of just eight states in the country—including California, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Washington and West Virginia—without a minimum age requirement for marriage, ”
    Huh. ‘California’.

Oh well, you can’t go wrong under-quoting an article. It comes from just reading headlines I guess.

You do have to wonder what the minimum age should be and the involvement of parents and whatnot. I’m not sure. Birthdate is such a blunt instrument.
Judging from TikTok, modern Americans shouldn’t get married until 30 or so.
It’s certainly a less permanent act than having your 15 year old girl get her breasts lopped off because it’s hip this week to be transgender, so it’s not so crucial.

Well given that TEAM PROGLODYTE thinks that cutting up children and giving them new naughty bits is just dandy I’m somewhat surprised that this would even pique your interest. But if you’re looking for a teen bride (or groom) Don and want to have a charmingly rustic Wyoming wedding I might hop to it before the situation turns against you.
    Just in case….!

Did you miss the part where Republicans are outraged, and actively against raising it to 16, in 2023?
It’s one thing to have no age requirements , but a whole different ball game when your fighting for pre 16 marriages in 2023
GOP in other states are actively going in the other direction.

Did you miss the part where we are probably only one election cycle away from having child mutilation as a formal plank in the Democratic Party platform?

Dunno if it’s something just left out, or if you need to keep it that way in order to keep some immigrants happy. After all, your cousin might not be old enough yet in some other state.
Of course, there’s always Ilhan Omar. The world is full of surprising things.

Psychotic wokesters heads exploding at the notion of a nuclear family having the best outcomes for kids –
“The marriage of a man and a woman and their ability to raise their children is foundational to the strength of a nation,” the group states on its website regarding marriage and family. “We believe that strengthening our families, defending parental rights and defending a natural definition of marriage are critical to achieving a strong and healthy nation.”
“Rep. Healy has completely disregarded what we know to be true about children and families,” Family Heritage Alliance told Fox News Digital. “Growing up in the home of a married biological mother and father is the single largest predictor of success later in life. It’s highly ironic that she describes a well-known fact about child safety as dangerous and un-American.”

California is one of the eight without a minimum age limit, it’s stated in the article I provided to you and you were able to write yourself.
Seems plenty backwards to me, and there are lots of old goofy laws that need updating.
It’s Republicans in 2023, that are against raising it to 16 years of age, changes that are being attempted by Democrats.
Democrats aren’t actively fighting a 16 year minimum age for marriage over “parental rights and religion”.

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has fought back against a transgender activist who publicly smeared her as a “Nazi,” threatening to take legal action against the individual. As a result, the activist deleted the tweet and issued an apology.
J.K. Rowling hit back at self-described drag queen performer JJ Welles after he tweeted “she also IS a nazi or at least has views that align with them.” In response, the novelist tweeted: “Okey dokey, JJ, we’ll play it your way. Give me regards to your solicitor.”
