    Gun Sales Skyrocket After Oregon Passes Measure Restricting Gun Rights


    With just three weeks until Measure 114 takes effect, background checks to purchase a gun jumped from about 850 per day before the election to 4,000 per day after, according to Oregon State Police.

    Most of Oregon law enforcement outside the urban areas have already said that they have no plans to or in many cases no ability to enforce this edict.

    After seeing countless oozing and gushing eulogies over Nancy Pelosi and her stunning white pantsuit in endless tributes, I thought the Botox Queen died. But, noooo. She is still alive and is not retiring from Congress. She is not giving up her seat and will continue to fight for the people of San Fransisco…..she says. Darn. Ain’t dead and ain’t out of Congress.     Has Nancy Pelosi really been the Democrats’ House leader for only 20 years? It feels longer than that. As disappointing as this year’s election was, the fact that we no longer will be exposed to Ms. Pelosi is a big plus. And her successor will likely be an out radical, as opposed to a camouflaged radical. So that could be helpful.
    Others will offer more nuanced political commentary, but to me it seems that Nancy leaves a dual legacy. First, she pioneered the tactic of drafting 1,000-page bills in secret and voting on them 24 hours later. Remarkably, no one in the liberal commentariat had any problem with this. It will be interesting to see whether the Republicans now do the same thing. If they do, it will be a scandal.
    Second, Pelosi is a stock trader of genius. She has brought insider trading to a whole new level, generating a nine-figure net worth. And evidently it is entirely legal if you are the Speaker of the House.

    I keep waiting for Supervisor Heidi Hall to write a glowing review and pre-Memorial ode to Nancy, but so far the Union has zip from HH. Heidi was one of Nancy’s girls who went through the Pelosi Leadership Training. She a Nanny girl!

    If you have an hour and a half – I would strongly recommend this interview.
    Peterson is, as usual, himself – the Premier of Alberta is stunning. Without teleprompter or notes she converses with Jordan on a variety of topics including the issues of energy production and societal cohesion. If you watch even a small part of this, I would ask you to compare her to any left wing or Dem woman or man. AOC, Pelosi and Kamala are literal morons compared to this woman. That is not hyperbole, it is fact. It is heartening to see that somewhere in this world there are intelligent and rational humans in position of power. The interview is also interesting from the point of getting a grasp of the similar problems that go on in Canada compared to the US.

    And this: Ms Greene put pics of her “Make America Great Again” and “Build the wall” dresses. “And gorgeous! Perfect embodiment of an American woman who loves her country!” mocking AOC’s tax the rich dress at the gala.
    Greene won her reelection on Tuesday in a landslide with over 65% of the vote.
    Yeah, that’s extreme. I always had a soft spot for high spirited females.

    Neither is Boebert but I am happy to give her a pass… she dropped out of high school to care for her baby but got her GED, and Shooter’s Grill had great waitress attire. Plus she is arguably as cute as Ilhan.

    Premier Danielle Smith showed remarkable restraint and was being polite at the 10:47 mark when she said “slap in the face” (by her fed govt.) when she actually meant a “metal pole up the backside”. Shaka Zulu was treated better at his end than the Albertans were – wooden shaft (more environmentally friendly) and pointed for easier insertion.

    The fund would initially draw on contributions from developed countries and other private and public sources, such as international financial institutions. While major emerging economies such as China – the second-largest economy in the world and the top emitter – wouldn’t automatically have to contribute, that option remains on the table.
