[Has any reader witnessed an administration that in two years has managed to be so incompetent, corrupt, and spewing so many material lies per day? Every commentator of conservative and libertarian persuasion has now written several articles listing in detail the Biden administrations atrocious handling of the economy, energy, crime, border, public education, drugs, foreign policy, … . Can anyone mention ONE THING that they have gotten right? And to cover it all up before 8 November, they and their lamestream are telling their dumber-than-doorknob constituents that everything is just hunky-dory, the country has never been better. And to put a ribbon on it, half of America believes that horseshit. gjr]

Gregory is so weak he can’t even stand up for things he says he believes in. Sad but I could care less. I do this sort of things for those readers who read but don’t participate in the blog that only has four or five contributors . Even Rebane himself seldom comments here anymore. Thats how boring it is.

Really, Punch? Really?
This blog is rip roaring compared to Pellini’s, whose blog was really hopping in its heyday; no post there at all for the past month. The Former Union Editor has pretty much hit bottom.
The new Senate in January could have as many as 55 GOP members, including the guy in AZ whose way is being paved by the Libertarian choosing to step aside and throw support their way. While I do relish the LIB hanging in there and standing in the way there is good reason to stop Democrats this time.

Hadn’t thought of this:
“It took not just lawsuits but federal troops to enforce the Court’s ruling that public schools should be integrated, and years went by before it finally happened. This time there will be no federal troops occupying Harvard et al., so we will have to rely on lawsuits.”
Hmmm…
Honky university admins blocking the doorway to the classrooms to Asian students?
Federal troops ordered by Republicans to force racist whites to allow non-whites to get into a school?
It’s happened before in my lifetime.
Now – because of racist white Dems it may have to happen again.

In the early 2000s, the Japanese racehorse Haru Urara became something of an international celebrity. This was not because of her prowess on the track. Just the opposite: Haru Urara had never won a race. She was famous not for winning but for losing. And the longer her losing streak stretched, the more famous she grew. She finished her career with a perversely pristine record: zero wins, 113 losses.
American politics doesn’t have anyone quite like Haru Urara. But it does have Beto O’Rourke and Stacey Abrams. The two Democrats are among the country’s best-known political figures, better known than almost any sitting governor or U.S. senator. And they have become so well known not by winning big elections but by losing them.

On the day creepy grampa joe doubled down on failed rhetoric ignoring reality, the equivalent of yelling get those damn whigs off the law, you know i beat the whigs before more recognition of squandering jillions on losers –
Atlantic staff writer Jacob Stern lampooned Democrats Beto O’Rourke and Stacey Abrams Tuesday for becoming famous by losing elections, coining the term “superstar losers” to describe them.
Stern observed that O’Rourke and Abrams are “among the country’s best-known political figures, better known than almost any sitting governor or U.S. senator” yet they “have become so well known not by winning big elections but by losing them.”
The Atlantic writer described both Democrats as part of a trend he coined the “superstar loser” phenomenon in politics.
“After serving 10 years in the Georgia House of Representatives, Abrams rose to prominence in 2018, when she ran unsuccessfully for the governorship. O’Rourke served three terms as a Texas congressman before running unsuccessfully for the Senate, then the presidency,” he recounted. “And they are both running again this year, Abrams for governor of Georgia, O’Rourke for governor of Texas. They are perhaps the two greatest exponents of a peculiar phenomenon in American politics: that of the superstar loser.”

“[Insulin] was invented by a man who did not patent it because he wanted it available for everyone. I spoke to him, okay?” —Joe Biden (“Dr. Frederick Banting died nearly two years before the president was born.” —Virginia Kruta)
“Inflation is a worldwide problem right now because of a war in Iraq… excuse me, the war in Ukraine. I’m thinking about Iraq because that’s where my son died.” —Joe Biden
“Putin’s invasion of the Ukraine in March set gas prices soaring, literally, around the world. Not just here, but around the world. And because of the action we’ve taken since then, gas prices have actually come down.” —Joe Biden
“Republicans have made it clear — and they’ve said it out loud on the floor — if they win control of the Congress, they’re going to shut down the government, refuse to pay America’s bills — and really put us in a serious recession; put us in default — unless we yield to their demands to cut Social Security and Medicare. They’re so determined to cut Social Security and Medicare, they’re willing to take down the American economy over it.” —Joe Biden
“When gas prices go up, when grocery prices go up, that takes a bite out of people’s paycheck. That hurts. But the question you should be asking is: Who’s going to do something about it? Republicans are having a field day running ads talking about it, but what is their actual solution to it? I’ll tell you. They want to gut Social Security, then Medicare, and then give some more tax breaks to the wealthy.” —Barack Obama
“I’m not sure [voters] really understand the threats to their way of life. They may think that whoever’s chairing a committee is, you know, kind of abstract. But the Republicans in the House and others like the chair of the Republican Senate Campaign Committee are on record saying that they are going to put Social Security and Medicare up for a vote.” —Hillary Clinton
“Crime is not on the rise. It’s actually going down under Joe Biden.” —”The View” co-host Joy Behar (“Democrats have become such a party of elites, they now openly tell the people they’re stupid for being concerned about what they’re concerned about. They tell them it’s not really happening and if they weren’t so stupid, they’d realize it. They all do this now.” —Jesse Kelly | “Joy should ride the subway to work.” —Katie Pavlich)

After the ‘covid’ abuse in the last cycle the courts in places like PA and WI and beyond are basically telling the socialist dem that homie dont play that ANYMORE! –
Liberal groups in Wisconsin seeking to change rules governing absentee ballots suffered a blow this week after an appeals court and a circuit judge ruled that ballots cannot contain partial addresses of witnesses.
In an order Wednesday, Dane County Circuit Judge Juan Colas said there has been nearly 60 years of precedent to determine whether an absentee ballot has enough of a witness address to count.
Current guidance from the Wisconsin Elections Commission is that an address must include three elements: a street number, street name and municipality.
The group sought an order that an address requires only enough information to determine the location of the witness. But Colas said it was inappropriate to issue an order that changes the status quo, rather than preserves it.
