[No doubt Jackson, MS (thanks for correcting my MI blooper) is also a shithole city under Democrat rule, and has been for decades. Today’s water system breakdown is typical of how Soviet-style jurisdictions took care of their infrastructure with public monies going mainly into the pockets of corrupt politicians. Today’s mayor of Jackson is Chokye Antar Lumumba, a proud textbook socialist who describes himself as a “progressive, socialist, and political revolutionary”. Like with most of his ilk, maintaining a functioning infrastructure is not high on his governance to-do list. Again, the overwhelmingly black residents of the city continue to bring it on themselves. Pssst. Punchy. What do you feel about Whole Foods not using his real name? Just wondering.
….psssst William…..he doesn’t care because he knows it’s Keachie.
No enemies to the left as it were.

How about you not using your real name as you confessed some time ago?
Well now you know fishmouth.

Also Bill thanks for posting the photo of me and my longtime musical collaborator Anni McCann. We were playing together in Backwoods Jazz when we played for the late Queen Elizabeth when she visited Sacramento in 1983.

I know what….that you are immune to reason, logic, and common sense? Yes…that I do know.
And as far as using “fish”…..posting handles are internet common. But by all means keep trying to “shame” me….you’re certain to be successful any day now.
…..Jesus Christ…..the man’s a senile assclown

It’s a good picture of you, Punchy. I haven’t seen you in awhile. Last timeI saw you, I was driving a woman to the courthouse to be supportive to her during her dark day…aka…her son’s sentencing day. She wanted a cup of Java and a bite of a pastry or roll on the way, so I stopped on Broad Street to find a fu-fu coffee joint. Then you walked in, checking out the scene, and gave me this creepy smile. What are the odds of going to Nevada City for the first time in many moons for5 minutes and having you walk in and give me a creepy smile. No worries. I nodded and gave you a creepy smile back…which you took as a good sign. Like, you were being Jonesy, the town greeter or something.
The time before that was that time I got snookered to help build a wooden arena sitting area (whatever the audience sitting area is called) at the formerly new stage at the Center of the Arts in GV. I had been pounding away with volunteers and Dads, left my hammer on the ground during a pause and you walked over and picked up my hammer off the ground and walked around. No hammer, no workie. I walked out, left the cheap garage sale hammer(s) for the volunteers who came empty handed, but I will never forget that dude with a friggin pony tail being in the way, not being of help. So, it’s been awhile. How have you been? Have you lost your smile?
Anyway, it IS a nice picture of you. Seriously, a nice picture. Makes me put a ‘face on it’ and also makes me feel guilty for not respecting the elderly. Me bad. I am sorry Riff RaFt.
Been awhile, Punch. Let’s do lunch sometime.

Community Alert. Snakes have come out of the rocks all at once.
Saw my first nice rattler this morning. Nice Pacific timber rattler, the darker kind. Blew his ass away with the garden hose, lol. He was too pretty to decapitate. It’s September. Been a long dry summer. He was found about 3 feet from the dogs water bucket in back. Neither dog nor snake want to mess with each other, so I gave the snake safe passage…with a blast the high pressure hose. :).
Today is that day that people in my part of the Inferno Zone all saw their first rattlers of the year this morning. Gave us something to gab about..
You have been alerted. You will have your morning soon.

Something I had not considered: wind and solar generation during wildfire season.
Dateline California:
Operators of California’s power grid issued another “Flex Alert” call for voluntary cuts in use of electricity and expanded the period by two hours, 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
“Wildfire smoke and the cloud cover created uncertainty about solar power production in afternoon hours when temperatures rise toward their peaks, said Elliot Mainzer, president and CEO of the California Independent System Operator.
There was also uncertainty about wind power at the back end of the period.”
Cal-ISO has issued Flex Alerts since last week and has avoided ordering rolling power outages, although a miscommunication with one Northern California provider led to blackouts.
With record demand on power supplies across the West, California snapped its record energy use around 5 p.m. Tuesday with 52,061 megawatts, far above the previous high of 50,270 megawatts set July 24, 2006.

And there is this I saw a few days ago. Just the presence of Ben Shapiro showing up at The Daily Wire booth at trade convention. Oh my. Good that Cumulus took a stand.
There is this pushback thing you don’t hear a lot about that seems to break out in spots here and there, now and then. An undercurrent if you will. I did not post what Jeremy fired off on is Twitter machine. 🙂
