    What makes this current hour different than 5 years ago is the exposure of the emperors new clothes. The media could say what they wanted and people believed them. The FBI could say what they wanted to and people trusted them. The DOJ could say and do whatever struck their fancy and we took it all as evidence of criminal wrong doing and Justice.
    Not so today. With the Left facing a citizenry who are not convinced by the press and are very suspicious of government (for a long list of vary good reasons), the old playbook ain’t working like it used to. Thus, the panic from government departments and the media. Two over their biggest weapons are being neutralized.
    Interesting to me that during the SpyGate and Russian Collusion Delusion, the FBI and military (military brass excluded) were the most trusted government institutions. FBI was tips on the list
    Turn the page and of a few days ago, the FBI was the top dog of the public’s trust. Trust factor spiraled down.
    Interesting? Yes, because the government group that the public trusts most, and especially among the Black Communities is your local police.
    Democrat narrative fail. Media narrative fail. What’s a power mad party to do now?

    Then I read it was those kids who didn’t get a vax. Even the CDC has fallen back from their authoritarian ways and admitted previous infection is as good, or better, than a vax.

    Golly – if we work together on what we agree on, then we begin to solve our problems!
    Right.
    Since a majority of people’s problems are self-inflicted, there’s actually nothing WE can do about them.
    OK – that didn’t work.
    How about we pare the Fed Govt back to simply doing only what the Founders wanted it to do?
    That won’t fly with 1/2 of the country.
    As long as we’re dealing with folks that have no idea of what a ‘woman’ is and claim men can get pregnant, it looks like we’re screwed.

That’s -53 among Republicans, -17 with independents, and +36 among Democrats.”
    The people praising Liz today are the same ones who called her pappy a ‘War Criminal!’ Darth Vader, and a bunch of uncomplimentary names.

    Trivia question: How old is Brian Stelter?
    Looking at Potato Head, Tater, Humpty Dumpty, Potato Body, or whatever term of endearment of Brian Stelter, take a stab at his age. 56, 48, 52 would be my top guesses.
    Answer: 36 years. Oh my. Well, he sucked up to Zucker big time for job security and perhaps a top spot and Zucker is gone. So is CNN’s #1 program with Chris Cuomo, and Fredo is gone. We started the year with CNN having lost 9 out of 10 viewers in the prime time coveted demographic.
    With Mr. Potato Head gone, CNN will have to find somebody else to obsess over FOX. It was Tater’s space and bashing FOX was his thing. A sure winner considering 25%-40% of Fox viewers are Democrats, depending which show. Maybe Don Le Mon will step up to the plate and fill Humpty Dumpty’s role as The Reliably Wrong Show.
    Who knows and who cares.

    To cap this comment off, it was Paul E Emery who decried to the high heavens that “Trump was destroying trust in our institutions!”
    It wasn’t Trump that destroyed America’s trust in our institutions. It was the institutions themselves that did a fine job of destroying the people they serve’s trust. Just kidding. They serve themselves, not the people.

    Hmmm. Trump and ‘Bill’ in the same sentence. Never looked at it that way. Speaking of putang, I got a chuckle this morning working outside, before heat. For some reason, my mind flashed back to right after Trump’s Inauguration and the pink pussle hat’s were the rage. I assume they were all pink, never saw a green one. Anyway, the local outraged womenfolk met at the Safeway Parking lot in old town GV all decked out with vagina costumes and pussy hats and off to Sacramento to protest Trump having more look looking tang than the whole lot of them.
    Anyway, it rained that day here, Safeway had the cars towed because the protesters selfishly took up darn near the whole parking lot (should have car pooled) and the bus unloads in the rain and there are women walking around as big vaginas and carrying signs that say, ‘Nasty Women’ and can’t find their cars. And the only place to get out of the rain was inside the supermarket. Perfect. Them are nasty women. Real nasty.
    Just imagine at that very moment when women dressed up in the vagina outfits and ‘hands off my pussy’ shirts wandering in the rain looking for their vehicles…and at that precise moment some out-of- towner just happened to pull off the freeway and enter the Safeway lot what he/she/the family must have thought. “So, this is Grass Valley, eh?” Lol.
    I don’t know why that struck me as funny.
