Biden, the killer president – When the tally of all the deaths resulting from his announced policy of abolishing our southern border is calculated, the numbers will now reach well over a 100,000 annually during his term in the White House.  The deaths occur on both sides of what used to be our border.  Thousands have died trying to make it from their native countries before reaching the US, thousands die in transport after crossing over, but the overwhelming number of Biden deaths occur all over the land in America from drug overdoses.  The major cause now is Chinese-produced, cartel-delivered fentanyl that daily floods into the US in amounts that can kill our entire population.  Local jurisdictions are overwhelmed with the number of overdosers dying and requiring critical care (example here).  And the primary cohort of victims is made up of our black, Hispanic, and Indian populations.  Reading the NYT this morning, and monitoring other lamestream outlets, there is no mention of this national emergency of deliberate, ongoing, and cataclysmic human tragedy and flaunting of America’s border and immigration laws.  From the Left nothing but silence and ongoing lies about systemic racism, white supremacy, and social injustice.  If ever there was a reason to impeach the entire executive branch as criminal sacks of … .

Woke medical schools have arrived.  Mandatory woke ideology and CRT curriculum has now infected another STEM field – medicine.  “Future doctors will be obliged to learn how health relates to ‘systems of oppression.’” (more here)  Medical students and residents will be expected to master new “diversity, equity, and inclusion competencies” according to the Association of American Medical Colleges.  These additional courses will be required in all accredited medical schools.  And make no mistake, including this added curricular crap is going to displace real medical education required for today’s physicians to keep up with the rapidly accelerating technology that impacts all aspects of healthcare.  Today’s physicians are already woefully behind on diagnostics, treatments, and pharmacology, as can be verified by any patient with some technical training.  From here on out, according to the AAMC, “aspiring doctors will have to become fluent in woke concepts such as ‘intersectionality’ (defined as) overlapping systems of oppression and discrimination that communities face based on race, gender, ethnicity, ability, etc.’ Med students who managed to avoid learning critical race theory in college will now get an immersive course.”  Medical mistakes already take more than 200,000 lives annually (here).  And when we calculate the new stats on medical morbidity and mortality, all of us will pay for this next helping of death by government.  Socialism on the march.

[31jul22 update]  President Newsom without a single cast vote.  People are now beginning to accept the likelihood of Biden’s early retirement; something that has been often foretold on these pages.  All the Democratic and socialist leadership of our country don’t want Bumblebrain to run in 2024, and everyone knows that the country’s First Kackle is a joke and will remain a joke.  A feasible and likely scenario has Kamala being offered big bucks (by, say, Soros) to resign and accept a position on the board of a global leftwing organization, purportedly working to save the world from one of many capitalist ills.  Kamala understands that it’s the best deal she can get after her embarrassing performance as VP – she accepts and resigns.  Ol’ Joe is then spoon-fed the reason for his early departure, and the need to make a deal with a compliant and drooling Gavin Newsom.  Newsom becomes VP, and soon thereafter Bumblebrain resigns for health reasons.  Newsom becomes president and immediately pardons every available Biden within that terminally corrupt family.  Newsom appoints his VP – someone like Stacey Abrams or one of the other well-known double dummies.  They go into Dems’ 2024 convention as incumbents, and to loud cheers and lamestream adulation, they emerge as the Democratic candidates for the party’s top of the ticket.  The scenario is perfectly legal and already tested by Richard Nixon when his VP Agnew was caught holding a sack of cash that didn’t belong to him.  Gerald Ford became VP, and the rest is history.

Speaking of double dummies, consider those sharp-witted journalists on the various rightwing media outlets starting with FN and FB interviewing the legion of liars that the administration fronts as their economic experts.  For decades, recession has been defined as two successive quarters of GDP contraction.  This definition has been used by the Fed, ensconced in economics textbooks, and touted by every politician over the last fifty some years.  Biden’s mangling of our vibrant economy during 18 months in office now requires rejection of the established definition.  We’re told by Team Biden and their lamestream lackies that the old definition was never correct (even though everyone is on tape having used it).  They tell us that recession is a more complex matter that has a technical definition which is never mentioned by the leftwing economic experts.  But what’s missing from all these interviews is the question that always goes begging – well then, tell us what is the correct definition of a recession.  There has not been a single journalist with the wherewithal between their ears to immediately ask that question when a Democrat again moves the recession goal posts.  Am I the only one who has noticed this dereliction of journalistic professionalism?  Please tell me it ain’t so.

In related news, several social media outlets have banned the use of the word, “groomer.”
Apparently the Lefty perverts want to hide their affection for and affiliation with pedophiles, child predators, and NAMBA. The reason for the term ‘groomer’ is now hate speech because it is considered anti-LGBTQAA+.

These charges all contain horrific allegations all against minors ranging from rape to child pornography.

Speaking of double dummies, what is the factual basis for believing that the election was stolen? Millions of Republicans actually believe Trumps lies without any proof. Just curious what the basis is.

    Ya got that right –
We are familiar by now with the rapidly multiplying strictures our progressive overlords seek to impose to ensure a pleasure-free life for the rest of us. Rothman comprehensively enumerates the major moral obligations we are supposed to pursue and the sins that stand in their way. Saving the planet requires abstention from meat, plane travel, and having children. Promoting racial justice means no wrong words lest they be construed as microaggressions. The risk of offending some oppressed minority means no comedy. Sexual equality demands avoidance of any hint of romantically hopeful advances. The myriad terrible injuries that might befall the fragile requires us to abstain from contact sports. And of course the last two pandemic years especially have introduced us all to a new priesthood of establishment experts and their acolytes dreaming up whole new ways to stop us enjoying ourselves.
We live in a world in which cycling is sexist, jogging is racist, and a plate of egg dumplings is a form of malignant cultural appropriation. Whatever you’re doing, just stop it. As H.L. Mencken famously defined it, Puritanism is “the haunting fear that someone, somewhere, may be happy.

I love how Yellen claims there is no recession as consumer spending is still “strong”. Hilarious. Just look at all the dough Americans are splashing out for at the gas pump and grocery store! Spending like there’s no tomorrow! Of course it leaves nothing for the do-dads, add-ons and toys, but hey – look at all the spending! It’s glorious! Inflation really loosens the ol’ purse strings!

Stop calling Krugman a dunce. Any economist that can be wrong so often and still make a good living by getting people to listen to him has got to have some kind of smarts.
Anyone can be an idiot shill for a while but eventually no one will give him/her/it the time of day let alone a payday. Krugman has some kind of magic that keeps the rubes flocking to him to get the latest BS on the economy. I suppose a lot of folks listen to him just so they can assume the opposite is true. He does serve that purpose.

Unemployment…..sorry readers for straying a bit off-topic briefly
When the State and local governments shut down our economy and put our then record robust economy into an intentional coma, thousands of people, if not millions, were thrown onto unemployment. When the people said, ‘No mas!’ and began to push back and/or ignore our rulers, the mandates disappeared.
All that happened, unemployment wise, was folks simply returned to their old jobs… if their employer was still solvent. The workforce simply went back to work they had pre-pandemic when they got the green light. Biden boasts about the jobs and low unemployment rate, but Biden did not create those jobs. Folks just returned to what they were doing before Blue State Governors and mayors screwed it all up.

Even the Conservative Wall Street Journal is questioning whether we are in an actual; recession at this time.
Here’s an excerpt from the Wall street Journal of a conversation with Jon Hilsenrath who is the chief economics correspondent for The Wall Street Journal, where he is responsible for covering the Federal Reserve.
Kate Linebaugh: So what’s your answer to the question of whether or not we’re in a recession right now?
Jon Hilsenrath: My answer is that recession is one narrow, poorly understood word. What’s my answer? I’ll give you an answer that an economist would use maybe. Maybe. Maybe, but I don’t think that explains what’s actually going on in the economy. I think what better explains it is that we’re in a moment of exceptional turbulence that makes people feel bad and could cause activity to get even worse in the months ahead if we don’t start seeing some things improve. People use the R word, recession. I would use two T words, turbulence and transition. Turbulence is the story of what happened. Transition is the story of where we are right now. And recession is the story of what we could be about to be walking into.

    Ripping into Biden’s lies
Wall Street Journal editorial board pens scathing op-ed on the ‘Schumer-Manchin tax increase’
They called the bill a ‘tax-and-spend behemoth’
The board noted that the legislation will be most harmful to domestic manufacturers and cited a report from the non-partisan Congress Joint Committee on Taxation. The report found that 49.7% of the tax would fall on domestic manufactures. The legislation would also tax Americans earning less than $200,000, breaking a campaign pledge President Biden made during the 2020 election.
“Taxes will rise by $16.7 billion in 2023 on Americans earning less than $200,000 a year. Taxpayers earning between $200,000 and $500,000 will pay $14.1 billion more,” the board wrote.
This gives the lie to Democratic claims that no one earning under $400,000 will pay more taxes under the bill, a promise Mr. Biden also made in his campaign. The reality is that the Schumer-Manchin bill is a tax increase on nearly every American,” it continued.
The board warned supporters of the bill how new taxes on workers and businesses will unlikely be popular and that they would be “responsible” for the economic repercussions of the legislation.
The board wrote that those who support the bill “will be responsible for the economic consequences”. “Their new tax on workers is unlikely to be a political or economic winner.”
