EMERGENCY, BIDEN STYLE
The presidency of Joe Biden has brought on a series of emergencies since the first day of his administration: the erasure of our southern border and a horde of illegal immigrants. Historic levels of inflation. The suppression of our homegrown energy production. The demoralization of the armed forces. New lows in gender dysphoria and the culture wars. All this in 18 months and we’ve only just begun.
Yet Biden rattles on about the “climate emergency.” He can’t do a damn thing to change the “climate.” He can only further immiserate the American people. It is the price we have to pay for his skin cancer. “Not a joke. Not a joke,” as he is wont to say.
As in fact he did say up in Somerset, Massachusetts yesterday. He went to Somerset to give a set of remarks on “actions to tackle the climate crisis.” The White House has posted the transcript here.
He is a man with a message: “As President, I have a responsibility to act with urgency and resolve when our nation faces clear and present danger. And that’s what climate change is about. It is literally, not figuratively, a clear and present danger. The health of our citizens and our communities is literally at stake.”
This too is literal: “Climate change is literally an existential threat to our nation and to the world.”
This is a promise, not a threat: “In the coming days, my administration will announce the executive actions we have developed to combat this emergency.” Now that’s what I call an emergency.
If you doubt it, consider the current heat wave, consider the evidence: “Right now, 100 million Americans are under heat alert — 100 million Americans. Ninety communities across America set records for high temperatures just this year, including here in New England as we speak.” He means to stave off the apocalypse.
The guy is out of his mind. I don’t mean mentally infirm. I mean in the colloquial sense tgat he is out of his mind in the way that the Democratic Party and its media adjunct are out of their minds. He has lots of company in this particular debility. The “climate threat” is a blunt weapon in their hands.
Quotable quote: “If we don’t keep it below 1.5 degrees Centigrade, we lose it all.”

Well, Biden did say unequivocally he would find a cure for cancer as the basement candidate. Millions are waiting with their hopes for the cure as their only hope. But as Psul Emptyry stated just as unequivocally, “I don’t care what Biden says.” Bush is the lowest of the low! Priorities and all that stuff.
It’s a woman’s prerogative to change her mind.

“The problem is once again the legislature and the state of California are trying to go down some social experiment born on the back of law-abiding citizens,” Ward said. “I go out on a limb and say that had these defendants been subject to the million bail that was in place when they were arrested, and they made bail based on that amount, they would have some skin in the game, some financial obligation and motivation to return to court.”

BT 8:00 – The ‘summer heat’ cause for Biden’s low numbers actually might have something to it.
Even here in Idaho, where the power company wisely decided in the face of a rapidly growing population to shut down a perfectly good power plant and raised our rates to pay for the decomission, they are now telling us we should turn off lights and raise the temp on our thermostats for the A/C to conserve energy.
At the same time they are telling us to go out and buy an electric car.
Across the nation, even the dimmest of bulbs are starting to realize Biden and Co. are leading the country off of an energy cliff.
How much intelligence does it take to realize “it’s hot and they don’t have enough juice to run my A/C but go buy an electric car” is a wack idea?
So yeah – maybe the heat is causing Biden’s low numbers.

Not one member of Trumps DOJ or his attorneys supported his contention about the election being stolen so what was rational about it? So Trump sat back and watched the riot on TV for over three hours and did nothing to stop the violence. He rejected offers of help from the Pentagon while Pence and his staff ran for their lives along with other legislators while their offices were ramsacked and looted. I repeat, Trump was watching this on TV and did nothing for three hours and you still support his actions as being a legitimate response. and possibly even rational Trumps last words before he left over three hours later were “Mike Pence let me down.” He heard the “hang Mike Pence chants” and did nothing.
Even when he saw on TV the Legislature running for their lives he did nothing.

And it certainly doesn’t matter what I believe.
What IS known for a fact is that the hearings are a circus act for the rubes.

Should Trump be charged with Dereliction of Duty for sitting back watching the Capital being attacked by rioters for three hours and doing nothing even when begged by his staff and the Pentagon for help in stopping the riot? He was our Commander in Chief and the top Law Enforcement Officer in our country and he did nothing but sit and watch it on TV.
Here is the defination: ” Dereliction of duty is deliberate or accidental failure to do what you should do as part of your job. “
