The 2016 election integrity and voter fraud issue is far from dead.  Besides the many tomes presenting evidence that somehow didn’t reach the courts or were summarily dismissed by dismissive judges, there is a whole trove of (video and smartphone tracking) evidence of hundreds of paid ‘mules’ stuffing multiple ballots into ballot drop boxes in selected voting precincts across the nation (more here).  The whole thing is documented in a new film ‘2,000 Mules’ by documentary filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza.  It is now showing at a big screen near you, and you can also watch its online 7may22 premier for pay here on Youtube.  The lamestream has been hyper-silent about this movie, and you can bet the ranch that neither Bumblebrain, Ms Pelosi, nor SFB Schumer will watch it.

[13may22 update]  In ‘Imagine the Unimaginable’ Victor Davis Hanson succinctly lays out the dire straits in which our beloved republic finds itself.  As he makes clear and most RR readers know, all of our maladies are self-inflicted.  VDH ends his warning of the radical Left in America’s fundamental transformation – “When revolutionaries undermine the system, earn the antipathy of the people, and face looming disaster at the polls, it is then they prove most dangerous — as we shall see over the next few months.”

RvWprotests2022

[14may22 update] ‘Abortion-Rights Marches Planned Across U.S. to Protest Possible Overturning of Roe v. Wade’  Here’s a photo of certifiable young idiots created by the evil party Democrats who continue to broadcast their latest Big Lie that federalizing abortion rights will outlaw abortions and end up “killing women”.  Even Scientific American (here) and the prestigious British medical journal Lancet (here) have decided to expand into American law and politics to proscribe the anticipated “blood on their hands” SCOTUS ruling that would allow the several states to make their own abortion laws.  This is more corroborating evidence that idiocy is independent of intellect.

So the ‘2000 mules’ announcement has gone over like a warm bucket of spit. I wonder if any of you will be watching tonight’s premier of the movie. We have a little dinner party tonight, so we’ll have to see it tomorrow.

I’m a tough audience for that sort of thing. Whether true, false, or somewhere in between, books or movies on modern politics are sold to the believers and end up on the shelf at a thrift store.
To the extent that ‘cheating’ occurred, and for sure there was plenty of the legal variety, it was slickly done. The folks who run matters largely controlled the Trump administration and now are completely back in the saddle again. To change anything, I think you need a sufficiently powerful and competent counter-elite. Anyone who can fix an election likely deserves to win, it simplifies matters.
I was thinking about The Union editor’s screed on fascists and communists and while those both strike me as modern (and temporary) bits of descriptive handwaving, it’s hard to avoid the normal condition for large states, monarchy. By ‘monarchy’ I mean the normal sort, with competitive alliances on the periphery. The need for status and wealth is unending. The difference in the details is interesting, but usually revolve around the problem of succession and how it is carried out.
Sometimes you end up with a weak king on the throne. Better to send him the occasional child to fondle while the vizier handles matters.

scenes 202pm – With a lofty and pre-emptive denial like that, one should always be careful that you don’t put yourself into the category of ‘There’s nothing you can say/show/etc that would make me believe xx or change my mind.’ The world is full of people like that – reference the leftists in these comment streams. To check that you don’t find yourself among them, it’s always good to reflect and obtain at least one thing that could falsify your belief.
In the case of election fraud, what evidence do you require to increase (or decrease) your probability that such fraud occurred? You seem to have rejected ‘2000 mules’ out of hand from a lofty perch. Then again, perhaps I misread your 202pm.

Dinesh D’Souza is the Michael Moore of the right. He makes a good living producing films the Right Wingers want to see just like Michael Moore does with the Lefties. Did you know he isis a convicted felon? He pleaded guilty in federal court to a felony charge of using a “straw donor” to make illegal campaign contribution. He was sentenced to eight months, five years’ probation, and a $30,000 fine. Trump later pardoned him so this book was likely a payback on his part. He’s not a credible source on this topic.
Google his name and you’ll get all the details.

It’s highly probable that a film maker who was pardoned by
Trump for a felony, which is factual, would produce a documentary supporting his contentions, as unfounded as they are. Show me one credible criminal investigation that has come to any conclusion that the election was stolen and has recommend prosecution for those responsible.

“‘There’s nothing you can say/show/etc that would make me believe xx or change my mind.’”
If I sound lofty, it’s mostly for the sake of brevity.
I think it’s reasonable to assume that there were beaucoup shenanigans, especially in urban areas. Granny farming is a thing, and any urban area is bound to be targeted simply due to the mechanics of voting. There’s no need to convince, I think I’m just less outraged than most by cheating. It’s like being surprised by the chicaneries in trade unions.
It’s pretty obvious that the progressives and allied (mostly ethnicity-based) groups are on a jihad, so anything is allowed as it’s for a good cause. A person can get a better flavor of the thing by randomly driving around Twitter, Reddit, TikTok, etc. Arguing with Psul is like arguing with Statler and Waldorf. While social media isn’t 100% of people (or even the majority), it’s the active minority.
I still think it’s safe to say that conservatives need an in-place counter-elite to get anywhere. If you’ve lost control of media, banking, government, education, even placing a President doesn’t mean much. The internet has accelerated centralization. Democrats and some Republicans desire centralization. In a country filled with risk-averse, non self-sufficient consumers, it’s hard to get any traction for decentralization.
In the final analysis, maybe the only freedom left will be the ability to laugh at a lipstick-wearing Asst. Secretary of Energy who buggers trussed up young men in dog suits and brags about it. Going forward, that laughter will need to be kept more quiet of course.
My point? None really, just idle chat.

Today’s college students expect to make about $103,880 in their first post-graduation job, a survey suggests. But the reality is much lower – as the average starting salary is actually about half that at $55,260, statistics show.
The survey, conducted by Real Estate Witch, found that, across all majors and institutions, undergraduate students overestimate their starting salaries by 88%. And 1 in 3 worry that they won’t make enough money to live comfortably after graduation

You have to admit that the Zuckerberg election push, and you don’t need much to gain the Presidency, was pretty slick.
Between the 17 intelligence agencies, the tech oligarchs’ control of speech and financial flow, grooming K-12 teachers, and the ‘mostly peaceful’ street armies, the Democrats seem pretty firmly in control. I’m not at all certain how one would counter all this. Authoritarians are always more coordinated in the seizing and running of things. We can always fight Eastasia if the herd gets unruly.

“…Hope abides that the November elections might set up a correction to much of this madness. The release on Saturday of Dinesh D’Souza’s documentary 2000 Mules does not provide a whole lot of encouragement about that. The Party of Chaos still has its apparatus of ballot fraud in place all over the country and nobody seems to know what to do about it (though the remedy is pretty simple and straightforward: in-person voting with voter ID). The evidence of drop-box video and smart-phone tracking of the 2020 ballot-stuffers in several states is right there and nobody in American life appears to be equipped to do something about it. The necessary equipment consists of two plum-sized glands generally assigned at birth to persons of the male persuasion….”

So creepy grampa joe is the inflation king and destroying the rental market for citizens he really does hat Americans –
If Congress delivers more migrants, “We just will not have the capacity to provide the adequate support that the families will need,” Alba predicted.
But the 70,000 Afghans, plus the expected 100,000 Ukrainians — alongside the inflow of Haitians, Cubans, South Americans, Central Americans, and Africans — are also helping to worsen housing shortages. In turn, the shortages bid up housing costs for Americans — and generate extra wealth for landlords and real estate investors.
In many cases, several or many low-income migrants share an apartment or house, so allowing them to price middle-class American families out of good housing.
“Rents continue to rise at the fastest pace in decades, making housing costlier than ever for many Americans,” the Washingon Post reported on April 21:
Nationally, rents rose a record 11.3 percent last year, according to real estate research firm CoStar Group. That fast pace of growth remained elevated in the first months of 2022, as many parts of the country continued to notch double-digit jumps in rent prices.

No matter what employers do to encourage [their employees to return to the office], … if we can’t solve the public safety problem,” she continued. “If we can’t do that, we are going to see a long-term decline in the presence of folks who are willing to take the subway and come back to the office.”

US scientists say they have discovered what caused thousands of soldiers who served in the 1991 Gulf War to fall sick with mysterious symptoms.
They have pinned the blame on the nerve agent sarin, which was released into the air when caches of Iraqi chemical weapons were bombed.
Many veterans have complained of a range of debilitating symptoms which developed after their service.
Sarin is usually deadly, but lead researcher Dr Robert Haley said the gas that soldiers were exposed to in Iraq was diluted, and so not fatal.

Cali gun grabbers lose another one –
A federal appeals court struck down a California law prohibiting sales of semiautomatic firearms to anyone under 21 years of age, according to a decision filed Wednesday.
The law, which had been in effect since July 1, 2021, also restricted purchases of semiautomatic weapons to one per month for all ages.
Judge Ryan D. Nelson of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals said in his opinion that the law infringed on the Second Amendment rights of those ages 18 to 21.
“America would not exist without the heroism of the young adults who fought and died in our revolutionary army. Today we reaffirm that our Constitution still protects the right that enabled their sacrifice: the right of young adults to keep and bear arms,” Nelson wrote.
Judge Kenneth K. Lee concurred, writing, “We cannot allow good intentions to trump an enumerated and ‘fundamental right’ deeply rooted in the history and tradition of this country.”
