   The paper isn’t available on Sci-Hub, but the summary sez:
   “This article presents the results through sixth grade of a longitudinal randomized control study of the effects of a scaled-up, state-supported pre-K program. The analytic sample includes 2,990 children from low-income families who applied to oversubscribed pre-K program sites across the state and were randomly assigned to offers of admission or a wait list control. Data through sixth grade from state education records showed that the children randomly assigned to attend pre-K had lower state achievement test scores in third through sixth grades than control children, with the strongest negative effects in sixth grade. A negative effect was also found for disciplinary infractions, attendance, and receipt of special education services, with null effects on retention. The implications of these findings for pre-K policies and practices are discussed. ”
   From the outside looking in, schools appear to so broken as to be unsalvageable. Between the institutional capture by groomers and sheer poor quality, a parent with any means and/or energy really needs to look into alternatives.
   With heroic President Potato pushing for Russia regime change maybe the thing to do is to work on your kid’s primitive technology skills. There’ll probably be a lot of opportunities for blacksmiths and small family farms once the radiation dies down.

    Gotta wonder who is in the 39 percent, what on earth is their justification? I can see being against or neutral, but ‘for’ requires a peculiar sort of blindness. An old-school liberal would see a guy captured by the War Party and large business. Maybe there aren’t any left.
    From my EZ chair it seems like Crazytown is doubling down while they have as much power as they do. If the next election flips legislatures, school boards, governorships, there won’t be as much opportunity for all the Good Deeds to impose on everyone. Schools are a wonderful flashpoint since grooming is how groomers procreate.
    It would be interesting to hear about how great the ‘Biden’ administration is, but all we get is Psul, Ms. Cross, and the occasional Frisch drive-by hatemail, and there’s no cogency in any of that.

    Psul is hung up on hurricanes, Ms. Cross is boofing all over herself while wrestling with the most provocative of all questions of the moment…which is, “What is a woman?”, and Steven’s infrequent appearances are not enough to mention.
    The word of today is ‘boofing’. Need to recycle that just in time for the hand wringing SCOTUS hearings. Boof means to expel gas from the anus, usually a foul order, FYI.

    I’m still working on my plan to cast Sam Brinton in the part of Ford, a masked man in a dog suit as Rockefeller.
    These are Men with a Vision for Today’s America. The National Year of the Transgender will be announced along with a call for healing and the transfers of moneys from enemies to friends. Under President Brinton, the State of the Union will be performed as an interpretive dance aided by the Masked VP with a theme of ‘Puppy Love’. Psul can explain how he didn’t vote for Brinton but that Trump was much worse due to something or the other.
