[A lot of folks can't understand how we came to have an oil shortage here in our country. Well, there's a very simple answer. Nobody bothered to check the oil. We just didn't know we were getting low. The reason for that is purely geographical. Our OIL is located in: ALASKA, California, Coastal Florida, Coastal Louisiana, Coastal Alabama, Coastal Mississippi, Coastal Texas, North Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Texas. But our dipstick is located in the White House! (H/T to correspondent)]

Well, that’s quite a surprise.
I think there’s a certain elegance to that. You provide a helping hand to guide the old folks in their voting, a form of elder abuse, to elect a man with obvious cognitive issues, a form of elder abuse, to be locally defended by a man who is mocked here, a form of elder abuse.
You can’t say the Democrats don’t have a theme going on.

Make to the War Within A War.
DeSantis created quite the firestorm by telling kids they don’t have to wear a mask if they don’t want to. Exploding heads time. Now that the Great Mask War is winding down, the real battle begins. Now, let’s talk about what you Lefties are teaching the children. They will not go silently into the still cool night.
‘Protesters Crowd Florida’s Capitol Building, Chant ‘F*** DeSantis’ Over Parental Rights Bill’
“But as pointed out by NPR, what the bill actually does is prohibit instruction on LGBTQ topics for kindergarten through third-graders, provides parents more transparency by requiring schools to notify them of any change in mental, physical, or emotional well being, and allows schools to opt-out of that if there is a “reasonable” fear that notifying a parent would result in abuse:
The legislation prohibits any instruction about sexuality or gender between kindergarten and third grade “or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”
….. “Still, the far-left, including President Joe Biden, have declared the bill to be “hateful” and homophobic — and many wrongly believe that it prevents the word “gay” from even being mentioned in any public school setting.”
“The vulgarity and the nastiness of the school protests, egged on by woke teachers and school administrators, really only proves the need for the bill,” Schweppe said

This quote is directly from the court’s opinion. “The court found [Adona’s] behavior concerning, as her behavior appeared to escalate the situation and was only marginally rational.” Marginally rational. In other words, she caused the environment for this crap to happen.
The actions at trial are within the lowest part of the threshold for behavior that would have allowed for a permanent order. It is certainly the least amount of conduct that I’ve ever seen a restraining order granted.
As to the Mattoons, Adona and her staff misrepresented the Mattoons’ actions when the county initiated these proceedings. There was never any force at all. As to the Mattoons, the whole case was complete bullshit in order to aid in Adona’s election. Ruining people’s lives for political gain and to serve a political agenda. Adona. Sick. Unhinged. And only “marginally rational.”

Well said, Barry.
“I am in extreme anxiety, constantly in fear, and my safe place may never feel safe again!, cried out the marginally rational public servant from the second floor. “There is nothing wrong with MY MIND! “ “I am now suffering PTSD”.
The punishment did not fit the crime, by any means. Justice was not served. The truth was revealed, thanks to you Barry, yet justice bugged out of the picture. There is absolutely no legal reason or evidence presented that any of the three posed the slightest of slight risk of a future violent encounter to any county employee or public servant near and abroad.

Gotta love it. The court just had to pull any kind of a rabbit they could find out of the hat even if it was actually a skunk.
Meanwhile county workers have merely to “feel” threatened when citizens try to access a public govt building. They wouldn’t last an hour at the average quicky-mart.

Barry. You make it clear. I do not contest the lowest legal standard threshold, nor did you ever hint of any disrespect or bias allegations cast toward the court or a commissioner.
I am echoing you that this should have never made it as far as it did. That’s the bully puckey part. File a TRO and by the time the first hearing comes up, cooler heads prevail. The matter is dropped by both parties, often by filer of the TRO not bothering to show up for the hearing. Have counsel relay a message it won’t happen again.
You pointed us all in the right direction, Counselor. You have protected the integrity of the court and the Honorable Judge’s decision based on the law. The court ain’t the problem here. You can’t city hall.

Too bad the LEOs did not require ID from the protestors. I believe the police said the protestors wanted to keep their IDs, to use them when they vote in the primaries, coming up soon. Understandable.

Greg. Yes. The clerk’s office had ten days to make very minor corrections to the petitions and Adona was more busy with mask mandates than her job. Definitely slow walked the petitions. Adona’s office even allowed one supervisor to file their answer to the notice of intent to recall a day later than the statutory equites timeline. She hates the recall people.

Dunno what the point is of putting an activist in that slot. Maybe it’s simply the famous Stalin quote. If they think she’s a pain, I guess you have two choices. (1)The Rood Center is bummed that she gets the job (2) The person who wins has a troublesome employee. It’s a win-win situation, except for the ‘winning’ part.

There was a feminine bitchiness to the comment that was similar…dare I say redolent of those uttered in the past by a certain Oblate Spheroid that still fancies himself a newsman in your quaint burgh.
PS – I did have a quibble regarding the claim; “It seems there will be no guns for Ms. Teine Rebane for awhile. The community is certainly a bit safer.” While I have no doubt that George’s daughter will scrupulously obey the terms of the restraining order, the shooting in the Arden Arcade area this past week should serve to remind a soft head like “jaime” that a restraining order has the value of used toilet paper in most instances. It’s the kind of magic thinking that I’ve come to expect from the pampered and delicate white people that inhabit your neck of the woods .

Last night, Buck was the guest of honor on Megan Kelly’s podcast and I caught most of a segment in and out of the kitchen. But, it was about his personal thoughts (analysis) to the question of why didn’t Putin win in a few days and is this the end of Putin…
It I find it, I will post it here….might be coming via FB, so be warned. :). Haven’t spent much time on his web site or Clay’s website and that little time has
