So Scott you disagree factually in the conclusion of the Conservative Washington Examiner that “President Donald Trump added nearly $8 trillion to the U.S. national debt throughout his presidency” What source did you use to come to that conclusion?

Also Scott in your opinion how much did Trump add to the national debt and what is your source?

Knowledge of how our fed govt works and something called “reality”. The president does not write and vote on our nation’s spending, Paul. And the president doesn’t have line item veto power. I’m not surprised I have to explain this to you, Paul. I actually paid attention in civics class.
And we notice once again that Paul is ducking questions re his BS assertions.

So these numbers have no validity Scott?
This is from the respected Forbes report
“Trump has overseen deficits that have increased as a percentage of GDP every year and will explode in his fourth year. It started at 3.4% in his first year, grew to 3.8% and 4.6% in the next two, as his tax cuts did not generate enough growth and revenues to overcome the lower tax receipts. And this year the Congressional Budget office projects that the deficit will be 16% of GDP and only fall to 8.6% next year when the deficit is forecast to be $1.8 trillion.”
This is the key statement “tax cuts did not generate enough growth and revenues to overcome the lower tax receipts.”

Paul – you need to read the article the link leads to.
“Before we get into the numbers lets address the argument that Covid-19 is the reason that this year’s deficit is so large. It is correct that the coronavirus and the subsequent shutdown of the economy forced the government to spend trillions more than planned (about $2 trillion).”
Yes – trillions more than planned and way less taxes coming in because the nation’s governors and mayors threw tens of millions out of work. You have to view the tax cut in light of the time it was passed. Before the Woo-hoo flu.
Then the CCP visited a fun little virus on the world.
Trump’s economy, before the virus, was roaring and the left and China couldn’t have it.
Energy independence for our nation for the first time in decades. Lowest unemployment and highest wages for non-whites. (that part really pissed off Paul). Inflation was non existent. Trump was winding down our involvement in Afghanistan in a controlled and orderly fashion. No war with Iran.
Our nation lowered our CO2 output more than any other nation. Putin was held in check with Trump’s denial of Russia’s pipeline direct to Europe. Oil price kept down helping the world’s economy and hurting Putin.
Biden has reversed or pissed all of that away.
And Paul still won’t answer questions.
It’s sad and yet amusing at the same time.

Seems like i remember a heated discussion on this a bit back but the facts of the shit holes is what it is and not even in doubt even with the massive illegal alien uptick –
The study found a 38% decrease in people moving to California at the end of September 2021 compared to the end of March 2020. The study found a 12% increase in residents moving out of state.
White noted that while the spiked exodus from the state is notable, the drop in people moving to the state is “the bigger story.”
He said the biggest changes were in the San Francisco Bay Area. There was a 45% decrease in entrances from other states to the Bay Area and a 12% increase in residents leaving for other states.
Sacramento County, home to the state’s capital, saw a 33% decrease of people moving in and a 13% increase in people leaving for other states.

Scotto: “I just love all these sciency-facts that are absolute and set in stone.”
That’s a funny reality of the modern era, I’ve even heard the ‘but I believe in science’ line firsthand. The plague has given us:
“WE MUST HAVE MORE VENTILATORS! WHY DIDN’T TRUMP/CUOMO SUPPLY ENOUGH VENTILATORS!!”
The fact that masks aren’t needed.
The fact that masks are utterly necessary.
The fact that the vaccines (that aren’t vaccines) weren’t to be trusted because they were Trump-funded.
The fact that the vaccines are utterly necessary.
The fact that we need contact tracing and complete ignorance of plague data beyond age of victim.
The fact that the vaccines are completely safe with no drawbacks, even though that’s not true.
The fact that the vaccines will stop spread, which isn’t true.
The fact that the vaccines are the last word when in fact they cause dangerous mutations.
The ‘six foot’ rule, which is both arbitrary and wrong.
The fact that both Trump and Biden need to spend trillions on plague deficit spending.
The fact that we need about a hundred completely arbitrary rules from county health departments.
The fact that county health departments, which are mostly mental health professionals (ie. voodoo) and professional administrators have any value at all.
The fact that the lab-sourced theory is racist (isn’t everything?).
etc.etc.
Truth is, no one knows what they are doing. Public policy, which is a lot more overbearing than in the past, becomes mostly a matter of ‘because I told you so’. At this point, it’s an exercise in dominance.

“Probably a more “fair” way to look at how large the deficits are between Trump and Obama is to total the last three years Obama was in office and Trump’s first three since the economy was in essentially the same shape during those six years.
During Obama’s last three years the total deficits were $1.5 trillion vs. Trump’s $2.4 trillion. These periods were after the Great Recession and before the pandemic impact.”

My best guess is that the concept of state government is the next line of defense for avoiding Crazytown. So long as we are able to freely move between states, subject to county health department approval of course, you can still choose yer poison to some extent. Of course, it’s game over as the federal government and courts expand their grasp. Burning down the village in order to save it is normally a Bad Plan, but traditional America might choose that as it’s only course at some point. To tell you the truth, the metastasizing of the Surveillance State will make any changes impossible at some point. The Thousand Year Reich will be reality, all controlled by people sharing the philosophy of the craziest members of your local planning commission or school board.

Move Over Powell: Steve Forbes & Larry Kudlow Endorse Elon Musk for Fed Chairman
“Speaking about Musk, Kudlow said,“Now to me, you’re against the [Build Back Better] bill, you’re against the [electric vehicle] subsidies and [Sen.] Elizabeth Warren [(D-MA)] hates you. Those are grounds to be Fed chairman.” Forbes agreed and noted that Musk “understands the real world. He understands what it takes to get things done. These people don’t. They think you turn on a switch and, voila, it happens.” Forbes reminded Kudlow: “When we were kids we were told, ‘Milk just doesn’t come to the markets.’” Later, Kudlow asked a rhetorical question: “Do you think Elizabeth Warren knows about milking cows, by the way?” Forbes then quipped: “She just milks taxpayers.”

Sounds like something the ponytail of ignorance would do –
An Instacart driver ran over a household’s groceries that they had delivered after seeing a pro-police sign in the Minnesota front yard, authorities say.
The homeowners that placed the order reported they had received a notification saying the delivery driver was at their home, according to a news release from the Blaine Police Department. They then headed outside to meet the driver “due to the amount of snow in their driveway and being worried that the driver may get stuck if they had to pull into the driveway.”
As they opened their front door, the couple reports the driver was yelling at them to check inside their Christmas wreath while “driving back and forth in the driveway.”
Police say the couple found the grocery receipt in the wreath with a “derogatory” note and, after the driver left, their groceries were found run over in their snowy driveway.
“After reviewing the context of the written message it appears that the delivery driver’s actions were in response to a sign supporting law enforcement that is in the homeowner’s front yard,” police said.

LOL!! They got plenty of “I STAND ON THE 5TH!!” I bet that pissed off the inquisitioners.
I see Embot is back to his old self. Don’t know shit, and trying make people think he has more sense the Biden. ( Good money says he don’t)

“Republican Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy grilled one of President Joe Biden’s judicial nominees with the same question nine times in a row over the course of five minutes.
Anne Traum was nominated by Biden to be the United States District Judge for the District of Nevada. During Thursday’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Kennedy questioned Traum’s beliefs on criminal justice.
“Do you think we should forgive criminal misbehavior in the name of social justice?” Kennedy asked.
“Senator, thank you for that question. I recognize that all issues of crime and all responses to crime are fundamentally policy issues. So, those are important issues, they are important for our community and our nation, but I leave those policy issues to the policymakers if confirmed as a judge I would not be a policy maker,” Traum said, before Kennedy cut her off.
“I’m not asking your opinion as a judge. I’m asking your opinion as a person, as a law professor. I’ll stipulate, with all of you, that you’re all going to be fair and unbiased. Now, do you think misbehavior and illegal acts should be forgiven in the name of social justice?” Kennedy pressed.”

Zuck paid for a lot of LIB wins.
Now… Just what the LIBS and Embot say, if Trump did it?
No real need to answer. It’s a forgone conclusion.
Blind rage comes to mind.

So it appears the RR’s have given up defending Trumps over 7 trillion deficit in four years. All they do now is engage in personal attacks on me and I could care less. Trump has disappeared from their dialog. What a hoot. they don’t even support him anymore.

Thanks for demonstrating what I was referring to in my 5:36. I appreciate the support.
By the way, can you explain to our new readers why you won’t use your real name? I think you Are you ashamed to be a public supporter of Trump.

THE LEFT VS. THE CONSTITUTION
One reason the left hates the American Constitution, and wishes to replace it, is that its embedded principles along with much of its explicit text is foursquare against the two main purposes of the left: class struggle and race struggle. Never mind the drive to abolish the electoral college, or the Senate, or admit new states to increase the odds of Democratic election victories. Just take in how the left wants to rewrite—which means abolish—the Bill of Rights.
