‘Jan. 6 committee admits another blunder as Jordan rips Schiff for doctoring text messages’
“This is the second time in less than a month that the Jan. 6 committee has acknowledged a major blunder for pushing a false narrative of events.
“It was doctored,” Jordan told Just the News in his first public comments on the matter. “It was a text message that was forwarded on to Mark [Meadows]. This again shows how partisan, biased, and wrong this [Jan. 6] committee is. Who can trust anything they do? If they’re willing to doctor a document and mislead the American people, who can trust anything they do?”
Jordan was referring to what transpired at a hearing of the Jan. 6 select committee on Monday night. Schiff claimed to have evidence showing Jordan on the eve of the Capitol breach pushing Meadows, who was serving as White House chief of staff at the time, to instruct then-Vice President Mike Pence to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
However, the text messages in question, which Just the News obtained, reveal that Schiff painted a distorted picture of the conversation.
At the hearing, Schiff said he wanted to display some of the messages that Meadows received from members of Congress, noting the committee isn’t naming the lawmakers while its investigation is ongoing.
The California Democrat then displayed a graphic of one such message, which read, “On January 6, 2021, Vice President Mike Pence, as President of the Senate, should call out all electoral votes that he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes at all.”
Schiff described the message as proof that some members of Congress were working with President Trump’s White House to thwart the democratic process.
“You can see why this is so critical to ask Mr. Meadows about,” Schiff said. “About a lawmaker suggesting that the former vice president simply throw out votes that he unilaterally deems unconstitutional in order to overturn a presidential election and subvert the will of the American people.”
The actual text message that Schiff claimed to display tells a different story, however.”….

“Washington (CNN)The Republican National Committee is paying some of former President Donald Trump’s legal bills, using donor funds to help him pay an attorney representing him in a New York investigation into his company’s business practices, according to campaign finance filings and a party spokeswoman.
The RNC made two payments totaling $121,670 to Fischetti and Malgieri LLP in October, the committee’s recently filed report with the Federal Election Commission shows. Ronald Fischetti, a partner in the firm and a criminal defense attorney, is representing Trump in a criminal investigation into the Trump Organization’s business practices.
Fischetti did not immediately respond to CNN’s request for comment. Trump aides also did not immediately respond.
The Washington Post first reported the payments.
A spokeswoman for the RNC said in a statement that its “Executive Committee approved paying for certain legal expenses that relate to politically motivated legal proceedings waged against President Trump.”
“As a leader of our party, defending President Trump and his record of achievement is critical to the GOP,” she added. “It is entirely appropriate for the RNC to continue assisting in fighting back against the Democrats’ never ending witch hunt and attacks on him.”

One time I made the mistake that doing my Beloved Paul the teddy bear of Broad Street “George, George!” impression and Dr. Rebane replied back to me with a kind of impatient snarky, “What?”. Opps. I replied back to the normally good long suffering Dr. Rebane, “Never mind.” George, what to you think of Trump going after a group of Antifa peaceful protestors burning Portland to the ground? I thought you conservative believed in free speech. George, do you agree with such Trump the Loser’s tactics. Do you agree withnwhat Walt said?.. George!

First, it was the RNC who said that and not me. Second and to address the “witch hunts,” I do this very novel thing. I read primary sources documents and come to my own conclusions. I am not influenced by the media or by the government or the rhetoric. I analytically and critically read and draw my own conclusions after extensive research and based upon my experience and understanding of the nature of the man.
