Last week, I was in the middle of posting the word of the day: ‘Authoritarian’.
That word was the buzzword of the lamestream that morning, i.e., Republicans and Trump desire to take over, by any and all brute force means necessary to instill their fascist iron fisted rule. The threat to our democracy. They did not back it up with anything but a perhaps some silly statement some county R party leader/member said.
While gathering the copy and paste list, suddenly the word was dropped and something more important came up. Maybe Juicy Smottell. It sure wasn’t the Christmas Parade Massacre or the United States v. Ghislaine Maxwell trial. Maybe Fredo.
I can’t provide much documentation to back the charges of ‘Trump as the destroyer of democracy and promoter of fascism.’
Remember this is the same group who fell for the Russian Hoax, Trump was going to launch the nukes on his way out the door, and believed Josse Smottell’s story out of the gate!!
It is true because it HAS to be true. It must be true. Every Black American in 2021 knows what it is like to walk down the street and have a couple of Klansmen jump out of the bushes…..proving once again that we have a shortage of racists in our nation that is not meeting demand. The narrative demands more racists, more homophobes, more bigots. There simply are not enough Putins or rednecks to go around. However, there are enough deplorables in the Wastelands to go around and make up for the deficit. They fit the profile. Profiling is good, says the New Fascists.
As Trump fought his battles through the courts and in a methodical fashion running up a string of victories over time, Biden has already run up a string of rebuking defeats, one after the other during his short time in office. Let that sink in. Rule of law or rule of man?
So, who is the threat to our democracy….nah, the destroyers of of our democracy? And all this time I thought Cocaine Mitch from Moscow was the true Grim Reaper. Silly me.

Boy o boy. One thing Hillary cannot handle is being irrelevant. She must stay relevant! How did that ‘An Evening With Bill and Hillary Clinton’ tour end up? Did they fill up the Staples Center (formerly the Famous Forum) and sell out? Groupon was dumping tickets for 6 bucks. Not worth the gas and parking.
As one lefty commentator who voted for Hillary posted, “Hillary, just stop. Just stop it.” Maybe she sees a void that needs to be filled. Do you still have your 2016 I’M With Her card?
Gotta love My New Gal, Tulsi. She speaks for me. We just ain’t into you no more.
Oct 22, 2019
“Hillary Clinton emerged from relative political obscurity last week to claim that Tulsi Gabbard, a Democratic presidential candidate and member of Congress from Hawaii, was “the favorite of the Russians” prepping for a third-party spoiler run during a podcast interview. She went so far as to imply that the representative was “a Russian asset.”
Gabbard fired back by calling Clinton “the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party.” In Gabbard’s telling, her party’s 2016 nominee was behind “a concerted campaign to destroy my reputation … through your proxies and powerful allies in the corporate media and war machine.”
“It’s now clear that this primary is between you and me,” Gabbard, who is at 1.2 percent in the RealClearPolitics primary polling average, concluded. “Don’t cowardly hide behind your proxies. Join the race directly.”
This is a bizarrely intense fight given that these two are members of the same party. Clinton suggesting Gabbard is the Kremlin’s chosen agent for destroying the Democrats in 2020? Gabbard accusing Clinton of being the puppet master behind a massive conspiracy against her? Are these people serious?
Unfortunately, the answer to that question is “yes” — in ways that reveal some troubling tendencies among American liberals and leftists today.
On Clinton’s part, the accusation reflects a remarkable overestimation of Russian influence on the part of certain Democratic Party loyalists — and a corresponding willingness to fling around baseless allegations of people they don’t like being aligned with the Kremlin agents. At bottom, it’s a conspiratorial way of viewing the world that disconnects Democrats from reality.“”

11:48 am. I found the evidence…..well, at least it’s source.
THE TIMES IS WORRIED
“Zemmour, the polarizing far-right polemicist…candidate of the traditional far right… Zemmour, a French far-right candidate …the traditional far right…“reduce the cost of adherence” to the far right…this quest to stake out a position on the extreme right may also backfire…gradually spread far-right ideas across society, especially through Fox-style news networks…have now embraced his more extremist ideas…designed to popularize his extreme ideas…“The cool is a way to defuse and neutralize otherwise extremely violent” ideas…Mr. Zemmour risked “being overwhelmed” by the extremism of his own supporters…”
So, we get it: Eric Zemmour and his voters are far-right extremists. Now, I don’t have much respect for the intelligence of people who rely on the New York Times for their news. If they had any sense they wouldn’t do that. But even dim-bulb Times subscribers might wonder, What positions does Mr. Zemmour hold that are so extreme and so far to the right?
This is actually the only Zemmour policy position mentioned in the Times article:
“The main economic proposal he outlined last weekend — slashing business taxes — is unlikely to speak to working-class voters.“

. NaziWhiteSupremacists vs. Counter-demonstrators. Hand the big religious kid a flag and the rest beat him up. Principal lets the most aggressive counter-demonstrators go with a warning.
. Privilege snack time. Sort the kids by skin color using a Pantone chart. Snacks go to the children suffering from ‘structural racism’. Tell the pale kids to kneel.
. Drag Queen peek-a-boo story hour. Bearded man wearing only a short dress reads from ‘Be My Daddy’. Kids sitting in front sketch what they see and discuss the miracles of gender.
. Kyle Chase. Declare the big religious kid to be ‘Kyle’ and hand him a stick. Chase him around schoolyard and stone him. If he defends himself, he goes to the Principal.
. Kids vs Kops. Appoint that one conservative ex-veteran teacher to be a ‘Kop’. Fire him. Burn down school. Games is won if Kyle’s body was hidden in the school at the time.

Anyone been listening to the radio?
One of the stations I listen to has an advertisement of “grants” to replace your gas heating system with an ALL electric “heat pump”.
How stupid this can be. The most inefficient way to heat.
The most expensive as well. Where is all this elec. going to come from?
Your going to keep warm just how when the power goes out?
With all the power usage, mandatory blackouts will soon follow.
Will the Commiecrats in Sac. declare free power for all?
Just wait for the power bill when this really gets going.

lol, although at the heater it’s the most efficient way to heat, it’s production and getting there that’s the problem.
Just wait until (a)fireplaces/woodstoves are illegal and (b)all new construction is all-electric (c)all new cars are electric. One failure somewhere and it’s back to the 18th C. for you bucko.
You’ll probably need a giant generator running bootleg gas to keep operating, or $100k in solar panels and $100k in batteries (and no cloudy weeks).

A major factor when considering the overall cost of a heating method is energy efficiency. That is, how much energy is needed to effectively heat your home. The more efficient, the less of your energy source you’ll need, saving you money.
Electric heating is actually one of the least efficient methods of heating the home. That is to say, you’ll need a lot of electricity to get your home to a comfortable temperature, which is part of the reason for its relative costliness. Other methods can heat your home far more effectively, due to the nature of the fuel source. Propane, for example, burns extremely hot, so you need far less of it to bring your home to your desired temperature.
https://www.entekhvac.com/why-is-electric-heat-expensive-compare-other-fuels/
Wood heat is a renewable resource. I can heat my house for the Winter, for what some shell out for a month. OK,, maybe two.
As a bonus, I can cook when the power goes out. Try that with an all elec. house.
Calif. Commies are now coming for your gas furnace. It will be your gas stoves and water heaters next.
This green power BS is three times as expensive, and 1/4 as reliable.(if that)

I remember as a youth growing up there was a big push for the new “all electric homes.” Think they called them ‘Gold Medallion’ homes and there was even a model home you could go see for yourself in the area. Electric stove, electric heat, electric everything. The new latest shiny object. We had natural gas and electricity at home with a monthly bill from the gas company and a monthly bill from the power company…unlike PG&E, the Pacific Gas AND Electric Company.
My Dad, growing up, spent 90% of his time at home (hyperbole, it’s was probably only half) walking behind us kids turning off the lights as we left a room. Turn the lights off! Turn the light off!! Must have heard it a thousand times. Lights out meant lights out. The power bill! Not to be frivolous about, no siree, bub. Akin to making a long distant phone call. Meter is running.
I, like others of my classmates/generation, grew up thinking that the electric bill was something akin to the national debt. So, when ‘all electric homes’ was being pushed by the Electric Company (who else!), it simply did not catch on with the working class family scrapping by in my humble neighborhood.
Thinking back, I never heard Dad once complain about the natural gas bill. The tall standing gas wall heater was where the action was as my siblings would race on a cold morning to fight for the best position standing closest to the heat. No complaints ever about the gas company bill. It was much cheaper than electricity and the gas stove burners heated up much quicker than the new electric ones.
Word came back that the new all electric homes were too expensive to run. Wonder what those kids in the all electric homes heard from their parents about the electric bill, lol. Sometimes new is not better or more efficient.
When I heard The Sanctuary City by the Bay was banning gas in all new construction, my heart felt for those residents.
So, our great wise asshats are pushing for all electric homes again??? With what? PG&E juice with Obsolete Technology such as solar and windmills as a backup??
Maybe Nevada County could run on one of these bad manba jambas…for a couple of hours. Maybe.

Gentlemen and Scumbags:
I believe you knuckleheads (us knuckleheads) are being too harsh on Mr. Emery. What Paul has posted here is just some trivia. Believe it nor not stuff.
I have no reason to question Paul’s research (RCP Average) that Biden’s under/over is better than Trump’s under/over at the same date of their first year in office. It would be like moi pointing out that Trump received the most votes in history for a sitting President. No sitting President ever hauled in the vote count numbers like Trump. Just trivia stuff.
Since we only have one President at a time and since each President has his unique set of circumstances and challenges, it is a new ballgame.
*Note. One President at a time except those that said “Trump is not my President.” Those go into a separate category known as the ‘President-less.’ Kinda like Creepy Sleepy nap-time Joe…leaving the citizens of the US without a leader.
As far as that was then, this is now……Biden’s numbers started to tank in August. It’s been a steady decline since then. Trend line stuff. That’s when he started to go underwater with the Independents…..the very group that gave Biden his election victory. Wonder what happened in August? Oh yeah, he shot himself in the foot over the Afghan withdrawn, torching our Allies in the process.
Joe can still turn it around by policies that beat down inflation, reduce energy costs to last year’s prices, stop decriminalizing crime, secure the southern border, and get the biggest economy in the world humming along. Simple, but not likely to happen.
George Bush had his ‘Mission Accomplished’ Moment and Biden said in July that we beat COVID-19 virus. Another Mission Accomplished, eh? How easy that was.
‘Biden Declares Success in Beating Pandemic in July 4 Speech’
A triumphant President Joe Biden all but announced an end to the pandemic in the U.S. on Sunday, celebrating what he called a “heroic” vaccination campaign on the country’s Independence Day holiday.
Speaking at a party on the White House’s South Lawn with more than 1,000 people in attendance, Biden declared that the U.S. had achieved “independence” from the coronavirus, though he cautioned against complacency with more transmissible variants circulating in the country.
“Today, all across this nation, we can say with confidence: America is coming back together,” Biden said to a cheer from the invited guests. “Today, while the virus hasn’t been vanquished, we know this: It no longer controls our lives, it no longer paralyzes our nation and it’s within our power to make sure it never does so again.”

Meanwhile, back on Dec 13, 2021….Another day, another poll.
BIDEN’S APPROVAL RATING KEEPS FALLING
On some key issues, Biden’s number aren’t creeping down, they are plummeting. Six weeks ago, he was minus 6 on the economy. Now, he’s minus 16.
On crime, he was minus 14 six weeks ago. Now, he’s minus 25.
Clearly increases in prices and violent crime are driving these numbers. But it’s also likely that the numbers are due in part to (1) a growing sense that Biden simply isn’t capable of doing the job of president and (2) the realization that Biden is, on many subjects, a tool of the Democratic left, not the non-radical liberal many Americans thought they were electing.

Never had energy independence Walt. Show me that we did. Inflation is a predictable result of the recession that happened under Trumps watch. Just like Obama after Bush those Republicans sure do know how to wreck the economy for the next administration. .

** Trump leading in the polls for re-election Walt? Care to post a link to support that?
Posted by: Paul Emery | 30 May 2021 at 06:28 PM
** So you made that up Walt. You are just an overt liar just like your hero Trump. All you have to do is send me a link that Trump is ” already leading in the polls for re-election.” Even Fox or Rasmussen will do.

** Well Walt seems to fish when he stated Trump was leading in the polls for reelection though he made it up when he said that. Doesn’t seem to bother you though. Of course you’re a Trumper and the truth is not important.

**So Walt what you are saying is it’s alright to personally lie on this blog because that’s what you are doing. All you have to do is show the polls to back up your statement. Why is it so hard to do that for you if it’s true?

** Here’s one for you Walt. The conservative MacLaughlin survey has Biden up by 13 in job approval.

** Here’s some other data comparing right track-wrong track polling averages between Trump and Biden. the numbers are wrong track today Biden-7.6 Trumps numbers at the same date was 23.7. While Bidens numbers are while not positive they are the best numbers since Clinton 2009. Trumps numbers when he left office were -40 so it’s quite an improvemente since then. Good job from Biden and his administration in improving public support for the government. The consensus polling was complied by RCP.
Here’s a link Walt, something you do not provide.

Bill Clinton in 2009? I thought Bubba won in 92, 96. Learn something new everyday. Hillary Clinton? Boy, she had great polling numbers after losing to Obama in 2008. Hillary again in 2016? The two-time loser had great polling numbers in 2016. Chelsea ran in 2009? How did I miss that one?

Bill writes. “Biden’s numbers started to tank in August. It’s been a steady decline since then.”
Not true Bill. RCP job aspproval averages have Biden bottoming out on on 17 at -12.2 disapproval. Today he’s at -7.2. That’s around a 40% increase since “bottoming out” on Nov 17, That’s quite a bump in less than a month. Bill, you’re credibility would improve if you took the time to do a little research.

Also, to create identity-based affinity groups, as a, quote, “brave space” for students to explore their identities. And update school websites, mission and values, and student conduct codes, to outwardly express anti-racist and inclusive ideals…
Other recommendations include holding trainings on implicit bias, equity, inclusion, and restorative justice for faculty and staff.
