HOW BAD IS THE DEMOCRATS’ LATINO VOTER PROBLEM?
“To be fair to Teixeira, I should point out, as Kyle Smith trenchantly does, that in 2004 “the Democratic Party was not yet a cult of lunatics dedicated to explaining that men can give birth, gigantic new federal spending programs reduce inflation, the comptroller of the currency should be someone who believes in ‘ending banking as we know it,’ energy production should be re-outsourced to Saudi Arabia and Latinos should be referred to as ‘Latinx.’”
In any event, Teixeira now sees big trouble ahead for Democrats. He offers numerous recent data points to support his pessimism (Teixeira is a Democrat). In his view:

I have been following Texas border counties and other Texas spots since the 2020 elections. What has surprised me is more and more Hispanics that have been here for decades (legally and became citizens) are registering as white, not Hispanic. Why? Because they see themselves now as Americans, not hyphenated Americans. Makes sense if you know the group. Hard working folks who scraped by managed to build a good live in America they are proud of by their own individual talent, individual grit, individual sweat, and individual courage. They can say, “I built that.”

The vast majority of reasonable folks know that voter id’s are a real need –
Despite an all-out campaign against voter integrity laws from the far-left, a majority of Democrats support voter ID laws, a Rasmussen poll released on Friday found.
According to the poll, 63 percent of Democrats “believe that requiring photo ID to vote is a reasonable measure to protect the integrity of elections.” Most Republicans — 88 percent — and unaffiliated voters — 74 percent — are also supportive of voter ID laws, and 75 percent of voters overall back the measure. Nineteen percent of voters disagree.

More fun from Matt Walsh. Always makes be smile. He is not allowed in the clubhouse.
‘Walsh Responds In Classic Fashion After Target Pulls ‘Johnny The Walrus,’ Amazon Removes From Top LGBT Spot’
In true Walsh fashion, the author added some commentary sure to drive his critics insane. “I am beginning to feel deeply marginalized and unsafe as an LGBT author and thought leader,” he wrote. “Jussie Smollett is not the victim of an anti-gay hate crime but I am.”
Daily Wire editor emeritus Ben Shapiro stood up for Walsh, too. “Target’s trans-walrusphobia is unconscionable,” he mocked. “This intolerance and hatred against the LGTQW+ community must end. You can buy Matt’s plea for tolerance and inclusion at http://johnnythewalrus.com. #StandWithMatt.”
“Amazon has removed my bestselling LGBT children’s book from their LGBT book list,” Walsh alerted followers on Friday. “This is an unconscionable attack on gay rights and a horrific example of homophobia and gay erasure.”
“I’m the most attacked and persecuted LGBT author in America,”
“This is gay erasure,” he wrote in another tweet. “You are attacking the most important LGBT voice in modern American history. Shame on you.”

Fun from Bob Dole:
In a farewell letter to the American public, former Senator Bob Dole, who passed away at 98 years old this week of lung cancer, mocked Chicago’s long history of allowing dead people to vote in elections.
Robin Dole, Dole’s daughter, read the tribute during her speech at his funeral in the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. on Friday.
“As I make the final walk on my life’s journey, I do so without fear. Because I know that I will, again, not be walking alone. I know that God will be walking with me,” the late senator wrote. “I also confess that I’m a bit curious to learn and find if I am correct in thinking that heaven will look a lot like Kansas and to see, like others who have gone before me, if I will still be able to vote in Chicago.”

You know, I personally wouldn’t fixate too much on this ‘Communist’ business. I doubt it goes very deeply. The Black Panthers were never going to be work brigades building up a farm or factory and are better thought of as analogous to 14th C. ‘free companies’ in Europe.
All I see is a perfectly natural human response as we move from a high trust culture to a low trust one as it’s reasonable for people to attach themselves to family or ethnic loyalty to scrape a bit of lucre out of the system. The political philosophy is just a bit of gingerbread decorating what is really a profit/power opportunity. Of course, the world is filled with examples of stillborn and failed states that have this same founding principle of low trust.

For years since immediately after Nixon’s landslide election in 1972, the Democrats have put their hope in the browning of America. For decades they predicted that the demographic shifts in America would assure a majority for the Democrats for hence evermore. This the Republican Party would cease to exist to ever becoming a majority again. It’s just a matter of time. Looking at the projected demographics of the nation and birth rates it was hard to disagree with the projections. R’s will be related to the dustbin of history.
Today, even some the academic originators of the ‘browning of America to save the Democrat Party strategy (which the Dems embraced) now say it was a mistake to lump Hispanics into a single monolithic group. Trump increased the Hispanic share of the vote nation wide and even in places like New York saw gains.
Did the Democrats make assumptions and put all their eggs in one basket? The Lations are put of by The Squad, defunding the police, and other holy sacraments of the Democratic Party.

Dear fellow pilgrim. I have stated to you several times I follow trend lines. In this moment in The Reckoning, all the trend lines are sailing in the same direction. Jorge Ramos has been pulling his hair out wondering where he and Univision went wrong while admonishing his viewers of their treacherous ways and broken thinkers…for the past five years. Even ex-President Obama chastised the Latino community for their wayward ways. I know, it’s just a messaging problem.

Noonan then turned on Obama. In “The unwisdom of Barack Obama,” Noonan condemned Obama on one of the grounds she had supported him in 2008. It had dawned on her: “His essential problem is that he has very poor judgment.”
In her defense, Noonan might have pleaded that she acknowledged the paltry evidence in support of her 2008 claim that Obama has “good judgment.” If “judgment” were the issue, perhaps the excuse would mitigate the verdict that Noonan herself is guilty of incredibly poor judgment.

I am not looking past the next 11 months. The President of the USA in Jan, 2025, no matter whom the voters choose, will NOT be my Higher Power, win or loose. Can’t say the same for people like you whose meaning of life depends on who resides in the White House in Washington DC. It’s a little hard for me to dwell at length on 2024 candidates until after the mid-terms. First things first.
Looking into your crystal ball, do you still believe Biden will run in 2024? All I got is this cloudy crystal ball. Actually, no reply necessary. I simply do not care nor am I greatly interested at this point in time. You know, like the time you said you don’t care about Kamala Harris….or other issues outside the topic of Trump. A: President Abraham Lincoln. The first Republican President. Yeah, we are kind of used to it by know….yet just when I think I have seen it all, they take it to another level. Some things do not change.

‘Biden Boom? November Inflation Highest In Nearly 40 Years’
One day before the consumer price index report was released, the Biden administration, Democrats, and Twitter promoted an article that ignored the fact that the economy is still in dire need of pre-pandemic recovery to praise President Joe Biden for “the strongest two-year performance on growth, jobs, and income in decades,” which the author dubbed the “Biden Boom.”

Strongest two year performance on growth, jobs, and income in decades? Really. How many months has Biden been Prez? It will be a full eleven (11) months shorty before or after Christmas, if I am not mistaken. Two year report is the Biden Boom? Interesting, berry berry interesting.

Looks like creepy grampa joe fucked Ukraine while they have the enemy at the gates –
The smaller package “has been on the president’s desk for roughly three to four weeks,” said one of the sources briefed on the issue.
The smaller, $200 million package was expected to be approved and announced last week but instead the White House chose to postpone any final decision, the sources said.
After having submitted their urgent request for military assistance a month ago and received a positive response, the Ukrainian government was puzzled as to why the aid package had not gone ahead as expected. “There is slight frustration over this,” said a person familiar with the Kyiv government’s view.
A bipartisan group of 22 House lawmakers wrote a letter to Biden on Wednesday urging the administration to speed up military help to Ukraine.
“To maximize deterrence, it is critical that at least some military aid — Stingers, Javelins, drones, and anti-ship missiles — are provided immediately. The Ukrainian state must be equipped with the tools necessary to defend itself and the region against Russian aggression,” the lawmakers wrote.
In a commentary published Friday in Foreign Affairs, Ukraine’s foreign minister, Dmytro Kuleba, said it was vital “to deepen military assistance to Ukraine.”
“We have our own capable military forces in Ukraine, and we don’t expect Western countries to put boots on the ground,” Kuleba wrote. “We do, however, need more weapons to be able to defend ourselves. Everything counts, from ammunition to medical equipment, but we are in particular need of air and missile defenses.”
Kuleba said only firm resolve from the United States and NATO would succeed in countering Russia.
“For too long, the West has declined to take Putin’s ambitions seriously and responded with delay, indecision, and weakness. It is time to meet them with strength.”

Anchor Chuck Todd said, “I want to read what Bart Gellman wrote in the cover story for The Atlantic. Some might say it is hyperbolic, but John Heilemann, I’m curious if you think it is? The headline is Trump’s Next Coup Has Already Begun. ‘Trump and his party convinced a dauntingly large number of Americans, that the essential workings of democracy are corrupt, that the made-up claims of fraud are true, that only cheating can thwart their victory at their polls, that tyranny usurped their government and that violence is a legitimate response.’ Hyperbolic or fact?””
So this is how you LIBS act when you already know the election is LOST?

Trump as the destroyer of democracy and promoter of fascism. These allegations have been legion and remain so to this day on the lamestream. Numerous times I have asked our liberal readers (and liberal friends offline) to supply or point to any shred of evidence that makes them accept such allegations as being true. The response has been either a repeat of the allegation sans substance, or the sound of silence. Now I ask our more right-leaning readers to pitch in and point the broader RR readership to online sources that claim to document such evidence of Trump’s warped ideology. Thanks in advance.

” online sources that claim to document such evidence of Trump’s warped ideology.”
Good Lord, that’s actually kind of a tough assignment. Probably part of the answer is to redefine ‘fascism’.
There’s likely nothing in official Trump policy or what he actually said to lead you there.
https://ballotpedia.org/Policy_issues_under_the_Trump_administration#Trump.27s_contract_with_American_voters
I guess if ‘fascism’ means ‘protectionist’, ‘enforce immigration law’, ‘be kind of a dick online’, ‘pro school choice, anti socialized healthcare’, and ‘fights with the existing elite’, then I guess he’s a fascist. Maybe it’s just that he didn’t spend the first two hours of every working day disavowing somebody on the lunatic fringe who is a Trump voter.
You can agree or disagree with the policy issues, but what we really got to see was a half-hearted attempt by an elected official to wrest a little power away from the media + 17 intelligence agencies + bureaucracy + internet overlords + men-in-dresses. Operating in lockstep vs a man with a twitter machine and a half-assed fan base it simply wasn’t going to happen…especially not in an emerging surveillance state. Live and learn.
The pregnant question is something that only uses Trump as a kind of rallying point. What happens when the other 1/2 of the country finally gets tired of burning buildings, politicized federal law enforcement, destruction of culture, explicit steering of wealth and power via government fiat to identity groups? Dunno. Katy bar the door if the Right got as crazy as the Left claims it to be, there’s really no telling where you end up.

“Buttigieg’s husband mocks Biden admin restarting student loan payments next month: ‘No thank you’
Pay your own damned bill. Don’t demand Me and all the other non deadbeats pay your way.
The husband of U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg appears less than enthusiastic about having to repay his student loans.
Chasten Buttigieg, who recently became a father to newborn twins with the transportation secretary, posted a screenshot on Instagram Saturday of a notification that his student loan relief from the COVID-19 pandemic will expire on January 31, 2022.

President Biden’s approval rating on crime has plummeted as smash-and-grab lootings plague California and other areas of the country.
About 36% of Americans support Biden’s handling of crimes, according to a ABC/Ipsos poll released Sunday. The percentage is down from an October ABC/Ipsos poll, which found 43% of people approved of Biden’s handling of crime.

“stop it now”,,,, Just how?,, exactly?
Gun confiscation? Is that what all the registration is for?
Make Trump a political prisoner? Lock him up for some perceived
future crime?
“Reiner concluded, “Now think about this, there’s never been a sitting president of the United States that has attempted to overthrow the government. That’s what we have. It’s all out there in plain view. And we better pay attention because many people have said, this is a dress rehearsal, and Trump is still, you know, stirring things up and getting all his followers, you know, engaged, and these people are not hesitant to use guns. We’ve seen that in the past, and they’ll continue to do it, so we have to stop them now.””

Aint it sweet of the billionaires reporters to suggest we should deal with inflation like Argentineans why not Nicaragua? –
According to a new Labor Department report released last week showed inflation rose 6.8%, the biggest increase in 39 years. As inflation continues to hurt Americans, some media figures have chosen to either ignore or insist that inflation is not an issue.
“In a high-inflation economy, money that sits in the bank is losing value. Each day, those $100 on deposit buy a little bit less. As a result, many Argentines spend their paychecks as soon as they receive them, carting away weeks’ worth of groceries in a single shopping trip, even if some of it — excess meat, chicken, fish — will sit in the freezer for months,” Gillespie and Doll wrote.
They added “And don’t hesitate to borrow money to finance some of those big purchases. If you can get a loan at a rate below inflation — something that’s possible for many Americans today — go for it. Inflation will make it easier to repay the loan in coming months and years.”
“Bloomberg next week –‘Some of the advice on how to cope with rising inflation includes: Stop using cash and switch to bartering,’” Sen. Ted Cruz advisor Omri Ceren tweeted.
Journalist Ian Miles Cheong wrote, “America is turning into the Weimar Republic with financial magazines advising people to spend their paychecks as soon as they get paid. Hyperinflation is coming.”
Former investment banker Carol Roth quoted a line from a deleted World Economic Forum video writing “You will own nothing and you will be happy.”
