In the interest of a proper start for Festivus Celebrations nationwide, I’ll go with a quote from a story one Mr. Tozer brought in.
“A group of 15-to-20-year-old suspects targeted a Home Depot store in Lakewood around 8:30 p.m., making off with crowbars, mallets and sledgehammers, according to Fox 11 Los Angeles. The group, which arrived in as many as ten vehicles and ran into the store wearing ski masks, reportedly emptied out an entire section of hammers before taking off, KCBS-TV reported.”
The sheer genius of the thing made me laugh. Everyone gets to help eat the bread in Little Red Hen society and a hammer (but no sickle) makes a great deal of sense as a Blue Mob symbol. It used to represent the working class, but now it simply represents brute application of force. Think of the hammer as an upraised fist with mechanical advantage.

“The Biden-Harris administration issued a report Friday to increase the price of oil leasing fees on federal lands in the United States by 50 percent—even while accusing oil companies of artificially increasing prices through illegal and anticompetitive actions.
Despite record-high gasoline prices impacting American families across the country with winter around the corner, the Biden-Harris administration is recommending Congress hike the cost of oil leases on government lands from 12.50 percent to 18.75 percent.”

Already, Mr. Biden’s approval ratings have taken a sharp fall among some of his core constituencies, showing double-digit declines among Black, Latino, female and young voters. Those drops have led to increased tension between the White House and progressives at a time of heightened political anxiety, after Democrats were caught off-guard by the intensity of the backlash against them in elections earlier this month. Mr. Biden’s plummeting national approval ratings have also raised concerns about whether he would — or should — run for re-election in 2024.

Being a Native American is an odd thing, there appears to be several varieties.
. Utterly fake, whether it’s Canadian Health Ministers or TV anti-pollution actors (Espera DiCorti)
. Utterly real, like a Navajo family on the rez wondering why those white people are such a pain

In both cases, I think there are hidden benefits here. Team Red spent too many years thinking that the national secret police were their friends and that public schools were a good thing. It’s good to see both myths exploded.
The problem/opportunity is that sane people need to step up to the plate. I can’t see the point at yelling at the school board, it’s like telling the local комиссáр to put down his political Powerpoint slides and take up a useful trade. In the 19th C., people with a bit of dosh in the bank thought nothing of building schools, Masonic lodges, local parks as a community service. If you don’t want your kids or grandkids to get reading assignments from ‘Mommy Has A Penis’ and other learned tomes, you need your own school as the other kind is a lost cause.
At a more advanced level, (I think) a lot could be accomplished by moving professional gatekeepers from universities to certificates ala bar exams (although I fully expect bar exams to get a DEI essay section at some point). It would work for many (not all) forms of study. The funny thing is that a tutor would be cheaper than Ivy League classes per hour.
Same goes for news/entertainment.
Where the rubber hits the road is the likely government response. Official censorship, official classwork, official news. Once that happens, either it’s game over for freedom or things get more kinetic.

President Joe Biden saw his lowest job approval numbers. Biden’s job approval found a new low of 36.4 percent during the first nine months of his presidency, according to a Zogby poll. While the poll also found that 61.3 percent of the respondents gave Biden a negative rating, the president was underwater with all age categories, particularly the younger generation of voters between 18 and 29, which viewed him 63 percent negatively and only 34 percent positively.

Race bait III: “By allowing him to go free and potentially commit other crimes, this jury sent the final and loudest warning to white America about the dangerous rise of white nationalist terror in this country, one I suspect will be ignored by most thought leaders, politicians, and the press. Kyle Rittenhouse was able to kill Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber and face no consequences because those men were race traitors.” —MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” guest host Jason Johnson
Race bait IV: “The first thing that occurred to me after this ruling is, ‘Oh, well, OK, now it’s just open season.’ Like, if I’m walking around and I’m a white nationalist coward little kid with an AR-15, and I see someone drive by with a ‘Black Lives Matter’ bumper sticker and I feel threatened, I can open fire. If I go by a youth group standing outside a local Target and they’re chanting, ‘Black Lives Matter,’ and I feel threatened, I can open fire.” —Jason Johnson
Race bait V: “Rittenhouse will be the poster child for reactionary white men who want to take the law in their own hands, who want to bring assault weapons to Black Lives Matter protests, and who think that violence is a legitimate form of political discourse.” —MSNBC legal analyst Paul Butler
Non compos mentis: “This strikes me as an odd situation for self-defense. It’s something akin to saying that if you go in a bank and rob it, and people are trying to apprehend you, you can shoot your way out and claim self-defense. That’s a little bit what Kyle Rittenhouse did. He created this problem, and then proceeded to threaten people to get out.” —MSNBC legal analyst Joyce Vance
And last… “Remember last year when Republicans wanted to buy 77M barrels into the strategic reserve at dirt cheap prices? Remember when the Democrat Congress refused? Taxpayer profit from selling this oil today would be ~$3B. Because of Democrats, we don’t get that profit. And guess what, prices won’t be affected either. This is what happens when pragmatism is swept aside and emotional outbursts become your governing philosophy.” —Congressman Dan Crenshaw

I’ve had to keep an eye on my SUV lately. It’s locked up in the garage, but you never know. The worst thing is – it’s white!

Scott O. Are you another slow moving Bronco?
More than one out there in flyover country has noticed that the Christmas Parade Death Race 2000 driver has been erased. Like he almost never existed. Darrell Bates of something. Jossie is back in town and his trial blew that driverless car off the front pages of the MSM newspapers and the chattering heads scripts on the teleprompter. The name of the WI town is hard to pronounce (and spell) anyway. Gone in just 8 days.
In the B minus minus movie Death Race 2000, a whole bunch of extra points would have been awarded for taking out the Dancing Grannies and those little kids in the parade. Score! Lady with a baby stroller gets bonus points. Darell who? Never heard of him. Now the Enemy of the People are warning of Willie Horton fear mongering ads to rile up the racists and DIVIDE US!
In today’s mass pollution of our language, mentioning that 5 letter word is racist, you oppressor you. That word that must not be mentioned is ‘crime’.

LATEST ACADEMIC HOAX IS A DOOZY
“Ever since Alan Sokal hoaxed Social Text more than 20 years ago, and Peter Boghossian and his two compatriots punked several postmodern journals with total gibberish just a couple years back, you’d think academic journal editors and reviewers would be on guard against similar hoaxes. But apparently not Higher Education Quarterly (a Wiley publication) which is just out with a howler entitled “Donor money and the academy: Perceptions of undue donor pressure in political science, economics, and philosophy.”
The study purports to demonstrate that “right wing” money is having a significant effect in pushing colleges to the right.“

China’s Global Times, a state-controlled publication, asserted this week that Hollywood will destroy itself as it continues to embrace “political correctness” with an increasingly lunatic fervor.
The state-run media outlet cited the recent decision to exclude author J.K. Rowling from the Harry Potter movie anniversary celebration due to her comments on transgender individuals, as well as the Academy Awards’ new diversity quotas, which require ethnic minority representation for best picture consideration.
“If Hollywood continues down this road, it will dig its own grave and destroy its reputation one day,” the Global Times predicted.

“During a pandemic such as this one, it is even more important to safeguard the separation of powers set forth in our Constitution to avoid erosion of our liberties,” he added.

Just for giggles, I looked up the China Times on Wiki.
Oh, my!
“The publication has been labelled as “China’s Fox News” by some scholars and writers for its propagandistic slant…”
Scholars??!!
Scholars, as in – they at least attended a school for a few years at some point before the drugs and hatred set in.
The idea that Fox is a govt run outlet is hilariously idiotic.
I guess it’s because they alleged that an actual person with a name deliberately ran down folks in a parade shows that on-going propagandistic slant!
Oh yeah – I had to scroll down past Wiki’s begging for money to continue their bull shit.
Not likely Skippy – better hit up Soros.
