Breitbart is lying when they say “The trend coincides with Breitbart News’s report this week finding Biden’s approval rating sinking to 49 percent on August 11, per Real Clear Politics’s average of multiple polls.”
If indeed you bother to go to the poll Breitbart cites-and yes I’ll include the link-you’ll find that Biden has a job performance average of polls of +4.2 on Sept 11 which is a considerable decline in the last few weeks. However if you track Trumps numbers in the same poll in 2017 for Sept 11 you’ll find he was -18.9. That’s a 23.1 edge in Bidens favor.

So yes it’s in the schools now, but it’s in the media, it’s in Hollywood, it’s in the corporate sector, so we’re seeing a real attack. And as you noted, it’s not really an attack on conservatism so much as it is an attack on classical liberalism – the basic ideas of individuality and treating me as a person, not as a member of a group. The idea of judging me on the content of my character, or my merit, not based upon the color of my skin. All of this is now out the window. So a kind of progressive radicalism is displacing classical liberalism.

The operative word here is ‘extend’ the unemployment benefits. The extending unemployment benefits were needed to bridge the gap in time until the economy came back. It did, but not as much as all the experts predicted at 8-9% GDP. Still, 6% for second quarter is ok, could have been better. Now that the supply lines are coming down the line and we have 10 million desperate job openings in the USA, the highest ever, Biden ‘extends’ the unemployment benefits past July and until September and now talking about through next year. No reason to let people sit around the barn and eat up all the hay when there real work to be done. Biden bad.
The total amount it cost the taxpayers to sent the $1,400 individual stimulus checks was 350 billion US dollars. 350 billion. Imagine how much less the $600 dollar checks cost, with the caveat that they were also sent to illegals to put the total higher than it should. Add low lost and no interest loans to businesses to hire workers back that went mostly unused because the Creep Biden extended unemployment programs and the businesses could not get the slackers off their asses and back to work.

““When I came to office, I inherited a deal cut by my predecessor,” Biden wrote, complaining that Trump negotiated a deal “that left the Taliban in the strongest position militarily since 2001.”
Biden also noted that Trump had set the troop withdrawal date of May 1 and reduced troop levels to 2,500.
The president said he had the choice of either following through with Trump’s withdrawal plan or sending more troops back into Afghanistan to secure the country.
But Biden set a later date for withdrawal, choosing a new deadline of September 11th before walking it back to August 31.
“I was the fourth President to preside over an American troop presence in Afghanistan—two Republicans, two Democrats,” he said. “I would not, and will not, pass this war onto a fifth.”
On Saturday, Biden announced his decision to surge 5,000 American troops into Afghanistan to help ensure the safe evacuation of American personal.”

Now comes word that Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani has fled the country. The Taliban might have awaited the twentieth anniversary of 9/11 to take the capital city and make the humiliation of the United States even deeper. Maybe they have something special saved for that day. Even so, as of this morning, the humiliation appears to be complete and total. I yield the floor to News Items proprietor John Ellis in his post “Biden’s folly.”
Only a few days ago the American “intelligence community” reportedly assured Biden that there would be a 90-day window before the catastrophe materialized. Not too intelligent, and not quite “a decent interval,” to borrow the concept that has been applied to our withdrawal from Vietnam, but good enough for Joe Biden. What a disgrace.
