1A Win: Court Says Law Mandating Trans Pronoun Use A Violation Of Free Speech
https://www.dailywire.com/news/1a-win-court-says-law-mandating-trans-pronoun-use-a-violation-of-free-speech
“The pronoun provision at issue here tests the limits of the government’s authority to restrict pure speech that, while potentially offensive or harassing to the listener, does not necessarily create a hostile environment,” wrote Associate Justice Elena Duarte, according to The Associated Press. The judge italicized “potentially” and “necessarily.”
Refusing to use preferred transgender pronouns “may be disrespectful, discourteous, and insulting,” said Judge Duarte, but it allows others “to express an ideological disagreement with another person’s expressed gender identity.”
Hate to use a well worn cliche, but it fits, despite my misgivings: My free speech does not end where your feelings begin.

[If the US was being damaged even a tenth as much as claimed by foreign state-sponsored rogue hackers demanding money, and we did nothing, then we are over as a sovereign nation-state.” – Dr.Rebane’s opening to this edition of The Sandbox.
‘Why Can’t Biden Stop This Invasion?’
“Good question: Why are people from developing nations leaving their home countries and crossing Mexico to get into the USA? After all, our academic, cultural, and political elites have told the world that America is a place of “systemic racism,” created by white supremacists, for the benefit of peoples of white privilege, where ethnic minorities remain oppressed. Why would such a country, of all 193 nations in the U.N., be, far and away, the first choice of peoples migrating from the Global South?
Could it be that people from developing nations are not so ignorant as to believe this anti-American progressive propaganda? They know America is free and full of opportunity. That even the poor here have access to 12 years of free education for their kids. That they will find better health care in America than they can find at home. That there are programs here to battle poverty, hunger, and homelessness.
But from the standpoint of the nation to which they are coming, the illegal migrant millions present real problems. They consume far more in benefits than they pay in taxes. They are dead weight on the welfare state.
“Biden is in a vise on border,” said The Washington Post Sunday headline, over a story describing the president’s border problem. But the only way Biden can have a political crisis on the border is if he is seen as failing in his duty to defend the states against invasion. Why is he failing? Either he can’t do what is needed to be done, or he won’t do it.
America’s border paralysis is induced by liberal ideology. The left does not want the illegals coming here. “Do not come!” was the message Harris gave the Guatemalans. But when it comes to the necessary toughness to stop the invasion, they recoil.”
https://www.intellectualtakeout.org/why-can-t-biden-stop-this-invasion-/
So many of our problems in the USA can be solved, controlled, or diminished save for but these three magic words: No political will. ‘Cannot’ and ‘will not’ are polar opposites.

Psst. Let me let you on a little secret. The Inauguration Committee has already been investigated by the authorities thoroughly. No crimes were found and Melania has not hauled away in handcuffs. Roberta was so disappointed. He just knew the smoking gun was to be found in the Inauguration Committee. He just knew all the goods were stashed there.
Questions of foreign donations funding the Inauguration parties were raised. Raised and answered. But, sniff, sniff, sniff away. Sniff it out. Keep digging, Paul emery, you are half way to China. Go Punch go!
If Barrack did a no-no, he will be held accountable. Barrack was the one who recommended Paul Manafort to Trump for an unpaid position as campaign manager, a good reason to lock up Barrack and throw the keys away. Yes, Barrack and Trump go way back. Way back. Evil rich dude.
Up next: A slew of Trump tell-all books! All taken as Lefty gospel. Credible! Yawn.

Even as Democrats, like the poisonous Stacey Abrams, and their allies in the fake news media scream Racism! and Jim Crow!, most especially about something as basic as requiring a photo ID to vote, public opinion is moving against them, way against them, with this poll on top of a poll showing a whopping 75 percent in favor of voter ID.

RE Bill 1:23 “Questions of foreign donations funding the Inauguration parties were raised. Raised and answered.”
How do you account for the arrests Bill if the questions were answered as you claim?”
The questions, answers, and investigation I referenced were if any foreigners contributed to the Inauguration events. That answer is no.
The indictment does not include any foreign money or foreign actors funding Trump’s Inauguration Committee, as was the rumor and charges from the Lefties.
The indictment (and arrest) involves foreign influence on US policy and two US Nationals trying to exert influence on behave of the UAE.
Paul, what moi was responding to was your leap of faith beyond the indictment as summarized in the DOJ press release to this:
“Co-incidentally Thomas Barrack, who was arrested, was the chairman of Trump’s 2017 inauguration committee and a personal friend of Trumps. So now that information will be under investigation as well.”
The Inauguration Committee has already been investigated by the Feds and no charges or indictments were brought forth. So now, what information will be under investigation as well? That Barrack was a long friend of Trump’s? Way more than public knowledge. That Barrack served as chairman of the Inaugural Committee? Is that some kind of new information?
I believe we are confusing two separate investigations, one of which is completed and one yet to go to trail. Sort of like the press and some readers confusing the US Government e-mails hacked by multiple “actors” when Hillary Rodclam Clinton was Secretary of State as opposed to the prIvate DNC-Podesta e-mails that were released by Wikileaks.
Two different hacks, one of a government official using an unsecured server to conduct State Department business (property of the US government) versus the hacking/downloading servers of private institutions; DNC and the “I’m with Her”, INC.
Hope that answers your question. I started reading the indictment itself, but things came up. Press releases are written by one office, indictments written by other offices.

Paul, you are now sounding like a stage prop. You are being quite evasive when a “Yes or No” question is tossed your way. You are not finally learning about context and nuances, are you? What, the gallows you were so concerned with yesterday are not the point? Life isn’t always black and white. Context is important. If, under the legal statues you posted yesterday, those peaceful protestors who tried tried to set fire to and break into the Federal Courthouse in Portland would all be charged with insurrection and/or rebellion. Federal property and Federal agents hurt.
Another example was the peaceful protestors at Lafette Square who threw frozen water bottles at the Federal LE and torched the outside of a WH guard shack at a WH entrance to the grounds fits the definition of insurrection. Set fire to a WH guard shack! That would be a big threat to our democracy.
Some, without context, would call that insurrection. Look at the definition! Look at the statues.
The first felony conviction of the rioters came in, as you are well aware.. The dude was walking among the mob inside the Capitol Building, but not participating in any mayhem. He got 8 months for ‘disrupting a session of Congress.’ He also was a volunteer at a local soup back home at a kitchen/homeless shelter like Utah’s Place.
Bet he wishes he could take that day back. Caught up in the crowd in the excitement of the moment. Hardly an insurrectionist. A Disrupter, no doubt. Hopefully he will stop volunteering at the food bank. Attracts undesirables.. Probably where he got his crazy idea to walk towards the tear gas. A felony is a felony, right, Paul? That’s all that matters in a black and white world. He was the dude that was carrying zip ties! What do you think he would have done with those zip ties? Zip tie Mad Max and haul her sorry ass to the stage prop gallows?

Paul. I have a unique perspective that likely only a handful of people in the United States if not the world have had. In October 1993 after tanks were shelling the Russian Duma I went inside when some of the shooting stopped. To this day, I have no idea why I did it. I was 23 years old. I was following the crowd. I had no intent on trying to overthrow the Russian government. I just wanted to see the inside of the building and the actual location where the Russian legislators worked. After the shooting started again while I was inside the building, I’m pretty sure I almost died. There was gunfire all around me and the tanks resumed shooting. My point is a lot of these people just went in the Capitol building because they were following the crowd. To call these idiots insurrectionists is just purely ridiculous. At some point I’ll tell you more about it, but suffice it to say, you have no idea what you are talking about.

So rather than give it to the workers who have to pee in bottles at distribution centers to pay for his flight he gave it to an avowed communist to take down our government
The move came minutes after his backlash-drawing comments that he wanted “to thank every Amazon employee and every Amazon customer because you guys paid for all this. So seriously, for every Amazon customer out there, and every Amazon employee, thank you from the bottom of my heart, very much.” Some hit back at him on Twitter, demanding a “refund.”
Jones has been an especially divisive public figure. The left-wing CNN commentator once dubbed himself a “communist” and previously called former President Donald Trump’s election a “‘White-lash.’ This was a ‘White-lash’ against a changing country. It was a ‘White-lash’ against a Black president, in part.” In another segment, he took aim at the National Rifle Association, essentially linking it to the Ku Klux Klan: “You have a whole generation of young people who essentially see the NRA as their enemy. To them, the NRA is like the KKK.”

…….and props to Van Jones….anybody who was expressly going to be brought into the Obama administration to provide sexual services to Valarie Jarrett but couldn’t get through the appointment process must have been born under a lucky star.
I hope he sends Glenn Beck a Christmas Card every year for wrecking his “chance”!

From Don’s link:
“So far, two others have received sentences in connection with the January 6 Capitol riot — Anna Morgan-Lloyd of Bloomington, Indiana, 49, was sentenced to 36 months of probation after pleading guilty to one charge of demonstrating in a Capitol building;”
Aha! One charge of demonstrating in a Capitol building. Demonstrating in a Capitol building a no-no. Correct me if I am wrong, but I recall a bunch of folks ‘demonstrating in a Capitol building” during the Kavanaugh hearings. Man, they were pounding on the Senate doors trying to bust it down as Kavanaugh was being sworn in. I could be mistaken.

Charged with “disorderly conduct”. That seems about right. Out on bail in 20 minutes.

Instapundit is on a roll tonight…..
It Sure Looks Like the FBI Basically Orchestrated the Gretchen Whitmer ‘Kidnapping’ Plot. “Apparently, the FBI didn’t just have informants within the group where the arrests were made. Rather, FBI operatives played a key role in the planning of the entire ordeal and were also seemingly instrumental in birthing the plot.”
This is not unusual. Back in the 1950s and 1960s it was commonplace knowledge on both the left and the right that the guy in your group urging people to do illegal stuff was the FBI mole. And IIRC back in the 1990s there was a “militia” group where it turned out that every single member was an informant for some federal agency or another.
…and
OUCH: “Kamala didn’t rise through the ranks because she was a pioneer shattering glass ceilings, but because she was a convenient cutout for a series of dirty men from Willie Brown to Joe Biden. They didn’t elevate her because she was good at anything, but because she posed no threat. . . . After a long wasted life in politics, Kamala has no religion, no family, and has become the embodiment of the Peter Principle, promoted vastly above her competence, looking at a job that she can almost touch with her manicured hands, but will never be allowed to possess.”
Ouch indeed…..

Answered that question twice already. You’re getting boring and redundant.
Barry
Are you saying that when you’re young you do stupid things and should be given a break? Don’t see the point in your personal drama other than that.

Sorry Paul. I did not see where you answered Gregory’s question twice. Forgive for missing your ‘Yes or no’ answer about the gallows being a cheap stage prop. Was it posted in Sandbox or under some other post?
Was it today or yesterday? Thanks in advance for answering. I sure hate to be redundant. It is soo boring.

I think I found one of the two answers, Paul. Maybe. Only one more answer to find.
Punch: “Do you deny that the riot at the Capitol chanted Hang Pence while they were jingling the noose outside in encouragement? I grant you then it was symbolic but combined with a chanting crowd there was a true threat to h is life. What do you think would have happened to Pence if they hadn’t hustled him to safety?” @ 7:44 pm.
Now, I did not see where you answered Yes (or no) to Gregory’s question about the gallows being a cheap stage prop. Is the “it” the gallows? What is symbolic? The stage prop gallows? “It is symbolic”? Was that your answer, Paul. Kinda not clear like a Yes or No would be. Kinda confusing about what you meant.
I guess it all depends on what the definition of it is. Now,where is the 2nd answer. Come on man, toss me a bone.
