    That’s easy Dr. R. Punchy told us more than once yesterday. “He should have known!” Yes, folks, Trump shoulda known. He would of, could of, should of until the Lefties should of all over themselves. He should have known people where planning bad things days in advance.
    They found a bomb outside the RNC and a bomb near a Democrat building, That tells me it was the work of anarchists. Burn it all down. Hey, Trump has been warning all who would hear about Antifa. He wanted them to be declared a terrorist organization.
    Antifa, for the unaware, has reemerged as homeless advocates (Red Lyon in Portland, DC a day or two ago) with new FB sites a week old run by the usual Antifa names and shit disturber organizers if you do a wee bit of digging. Same faces, same names. Too much to ask or Lamestream to spent 15 minutes looking into. Burn it down!
    But Trump should have known! Yep, the Capitol Police were unprepared because they never saw anything but peaceful folks before. Trump rallies are not known for violence of vandalism of fires or burning tires of smashing Starbucks windows or trying to burn down Federal Courthouses or ICE buildings or defacing monuments. The Capitol Police should have known.

Of course it is to cripple the republicans and disable any attempt by trump to run again, which the entire party, save a brave few who recognized trump’s fraud claims were fraudulent, aptly deserves. It is also to send a message to trump and any future wanna-be dictators that no one is above the law and promulgating lies and promoting criminal activity does, in fact, have consequences. The Dems are really trying to preserve the republic against crazy tyrants. Is this something you take issue with?

Trumps Lawyers were pathetic today and had to completely change their strategy because their argument that he Impeachment was unconstitutional so they dumped it. Word is Trump was fuming when he watched on TV. Trump is history. At this point the question is how low can he go.

    Did our leading liberal already convict Trump in his 448pm before the Senate has had a chance?
    What’s more important to note here on our Dem-led road to tyranny is that the Senate determined that trying a private citizen and former president is constitutional. That Senate’s determination itself is unconstitutional for the simple reason that questions of consitutionality under our system used to be adjudicated by the judicial branch and not the legislative branch of government. Not any longer, today the Dems violate laws and change rules a dozen times a day on their march to one-party totalitarianism.

    So far, I haven’t found any of those listed news sources to be unreliable.

    And your upping it to have been a criminal act by Trump is more than a bit unhinged. If the Dems believed they had a snowball’s chance in hell of proving criminality, then they would never have gone for a lame Senate trial with a more lame single article of impeachment. They would try him in a criminal court after he became a civilian, and really throw the book at him. But the fact acknowledged by both parties is that Trump did NOTHING illegal, let alone criminal. That’s why the only thing left for the Dems is the kabuki political trial in the Senate with the fervent hope that his acquittal will split the Repubs badly enough that they will not be a factor in 2022. But from your scattered comments, I fear all this may be too complex for you to follow.
    But to answer your last query – Congress can impeach a president for any reason whatsoever, or for no reason at all. Impeachment and the subsequent Senate trial are both political acts that require no adherence to any protocols, save what the House decides at any given time.
